some theories are pretty sound, like the theory of relativity, theory of evolution, basic electrical theory, etc etc. Simply put it is a theory but theres overwhelming evidence supporting it, thus making it widely accepted to be a fact.

We shall see, I bet we wont be hearing much of either from here on out
