wanted to post this and get feedback and possilbly share what i considre to be pretty cool news, I was in Cake the other day and noticed in the back of the app listed features..etc I notice CAKE PAY? I obviously selected on it to see what it was and to my surprise (not sure this may have been around for a long time?) there are thousands of places that you can purchase gift cards using your BTC!!! So the obivous came to mind, I am sure some of you out there are familiar with these retail stores that starting popping up 10-15 years ago that purchase gift cards at a discounted price but give you cash, which essentially is a way for petty crimninal to liquidate the gift cards that stores startgin handing out to curb theft, thinking was "if we dont give out cash the thiefs wil move on to the stores that do...." well like anything else evolution takes place and a submarket was created, weirdly enough mostly owned by folks from the caribbean half the time lol anyway what happens it the retail store will pay a percentage to the "person" that has a gift card and wants cash, the percentage is based on the popularity of the GC, in otherwords Amazon are typically 70% of the value on the cards face, becuase Amazon are highly sought after, where as Toys R Us are more like 50%...etc you get the point. the store owner then does one of two things with the GC, majority are sent to kiosks, online services, craigslist..etc where they are sold to the public at a discount in other words you can then purchase the GC for 80% of the value and thus the islander that owns the store makes the 15% markup, or secondly some of the retailers will actually negotiate and buy back these unused GC at a discount from the business for obvious reasons, if they do not have to honor the GC that is revenue not lost..etc point of all of this I find it interesting and a ton of possiblity to be had utilizing the service of converting BTC to GC and then wherever you see fit.....etc and when I say there is a lot of choices I mean what seems to be evety fucking retailer in the world, Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, Hotels, resturaunts, gas cards, grociery stores...etc so in other words folks that have an abundance of crypto#@ could feesably convert to real world value in all assetts of there life and if so motivated could take it a step further and create a legitmate business converting GC to Cash and make a very good living as a secondary revenue stream!!! THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A MINUTE!!! ONE COULD ACTUALLY PROFIT FROM CONVERTING BTC TO CASH Just a thought and wanted to get the consensus of what people think? That and I have drank way to much fucking coffee today have a good one yall
