For those who are old enough like me may be familiar with the original and at the time still legal powdered sodium version of GeeAchBee before it being scheduled…many body builders were utilizing it at bedtime raving about it as a as a great fat burner and sleep aid, but when read correctly with the perfect amount determined person by person it produced a super euphoric state…one could literally walk into a nutrition store and buy a tub of it for anywhere between $50-$100 in those beginning days. Then it became horribly misused by some ending it to be known in the end as the terrible date rape drug leading to its ban…then the ok, but less fun GeeBeeEl and then BeeDeeOh liquid versions came on the scene… after the ban big Pharma jump on the money train and developed its own controlled prescribed version of it called XYREM sodium oxybate which is a similar replica to the original legal formulation it all started with. Cashing in big time on its euphoric properties, but marketing it as Medical Grade GHB strictly FDA-approved to treat specific symptoms of narcolepsy, such as excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) and sudden muscle weakness (cataplexy).
Sorry for the long history lesson and going down memory lane, but by far a past euphoric giant many enjoyed! and greatly still miss today.
