What Are Some Of The Things That Annoy You?

Summer.

The heat. The restless nights. The flies. The moths. The ants. The sweat. The smell. The people. The noise. The painfully long days. The sunlight blinding you from 5/6am. The feeling of isolation.

For an introvert like me, it's horrible. I'm looking forward to autumn. But I hate it when in September...starts cooling down...then...BAM! Heatwave in September.

Ugh.

I can't wait until the cold winter. The coziness. No people anywhere. No noise. Peace. Love it. =)

Anyone else with me..? Meep...?

Opposite. I live in the Blue Ridge mountains, and winter is fucking hell. The drivers are idiots. I often have to sleep in work, because of the road conditions.

Summer is nice, short skirts, A/C in the house, A/C in the car and it cools down nice by the evening, not like damn Florida or Texas. Winter is also depressing for me.

Opposites :) I love the summer esp the heat. I like it when its so hot you can see the steam rising from the sidewalks. Air conditioning bugs me, most stores out here keep the air around 65-70 degrees and when I come outside of them I have to sit directly in the sun half hour to warm up. I have people ask me pretty often "whats the matter with you? Why are you sitting in the sun when its 110? Are you okay?" Lol. I cant tolerate the cold. It gets in my bones. And it makes me depressed:(  Im depressed right now just thinking about winter coming. I probably will have to move somewhere warmer year-round in the next few years.

And..... I like sweating. Dont love the bugs but today for instance, we walked just > 5 miles checking fence and its 99 degrees out , not sure of the humidity % but it is very :) When we got back, our clothes were so soaked with sweat you could wring them out. So gross :) We drink gallons of water and it feels so good.

I always feel really fat in the winter too, no bueno :(

I gotta agree with the others on this one @Smoka90

I love me some heat! If I could move myself and my music to Australia I'd do it in a second!

However, I am definitely with you on one of the the things!

The mass influx of sub-humans venturing out from beneath their rocks! And aaaaaaaaaaaall the fucking twats come out with the sun don't they?! For 3 months a year my town turns into one giant Jeremy Kyle show! (jerry springer for my American brothers and sisters ; ))

A little harsh I'd say but everyone is entitled to they're opinion..

Peace

Bliss.....
I'm a cynical and sarcastic guy. I just told @Heavenlee last night via text, that my colleagues gave me a nick name "Creme Brule", because I have a really hard and dark surface torched to a crisp, but once that breaks, when I get into my ER and start taking care of folks, and start bonding with them, the top layer just breaks and I become a "sweet cream" (I'm sorry, it sounds totally weird, but that's how one of the CNAs who's actually not intimidated by me told me this, the way I'm quoting it). Obviously I'd never wish anything bad on anyone, @blissopifree 2, I'm just the way it is. See my signature, I'm not an easy person until you get to know me a bit more :)

Pace,

-JC ?‍?

I agree with all of that, though i'll admit being a bit lax when it comes to spelling and grammar on forums and thinks like skype and text-messages

Oh, I am not a grammar-Nazi. Just if people are trying to be formal and can't write properly. Just a bugbear.

I get what you're saying, when people are pretentious and writing above the level they're actually capable of.
Kind of. It's more laziness too. It just frustrates me to look at, but my degree was in English Language, so it's hardly surprising!

  9. L @ Layne_Cobain: Congrats bro!!! That’s awesome happy for yah you can let that stress go…stress is the enemy
  10. T @ Thedoccc: Hey y'all, wanted to tell you that I signed that second contract I was hoping for. Which should keep me afloat for the rest of the year, and hopefully 2026 if all goes well. Appreciate your encouragement, love, prayers and out reach. I was really feeling low last week and needed that extra bit of <3
  11. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: hahhah right on man. they spent so much bread.
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: Could b worse dude could be a met fan right now 😂 that payroll and no playoffs 😳 I kinda feel bad for em such an insane collapse and so insanely opposite of what happened last year with them starting terrible then catching fire all the way to the nlcs
  13. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: That Texas playoff series last year crushed out spirits lmao. They wrecked us.
  14. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: No you're pretty much spot on. We've been playing better since the firing of Hyde but I think it's just coincidence. Even though he was terrible at putting the correct relievers in at the wrong time.
  15. L @ Layne_Cobain: Exactly didn’t make a good enough offer to Burnes to keep him and didn’t go after any other top pitching then when things were over come deadline traded away a bunch altho I don’t think any of them besides O’hearn and maybe a reliever or two were doing that well but I could be remembering wrong
  16. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: *bucks
  17. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: Just needed pitching. And mister big buks didn't spend sh1it hahhaha.
  18. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: We were stacked and ready to go.
  19. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: I'm in the same boat as you. The blame goes on the owner and Elias (our GM)
  20. L @ Layne_Cobain: I was just thinking that bro I honestly didn’t think Hyde was all that bad but when things go south it’s usually the managers on the chopping block to make the point …I think there’s some decent managers out there looking for a spot
