Cell phones, email, and IM's at work. I feel like an octopus playing tennis against a dozen people all at the same time!

Some people think that because they send you an IM or an email with an exclamation point that you can drop everything and respond, and of course they call your cell because who wouldn't have it glued to their hand some assume.

Can you imagine if calls, email and IM's arrived in physical form at your cube/office? My days would be filled with a constant bunch of people disturbing me every few minutes asking for something and shouting over all the others ahead of them already asking their requests oblivious to all the others asking at the same time. Argghh.

Connectivity and being available via too many sources is annoying, and day old doughnuts.

people who only read the first page, far enough to get an email address. do they not realize its in chronological order and the last page is the most important one?
