It's just jumped up like $300 in a few hours. Was there some news today because i didn't read nothing..

It is and always was volatile but I think it will fluctuate between 45 or so and 50-51,000 for a couple months. Tesla and other enormous buyers drove it up. It ain't great for use as a currency the fees will kill ya.
