Whats Your New Years Resolution?

Your job is never done - as for me i am only about half way through year end reports I should have started on last night. My new years resolution should really be to "Just do it" and not watch mindless glittery balls descend from the sky. Yes, I said balls, again.

I understand completely. For me, I found myself feeling guilty not so much for watching the glittery ball descend, but for being amused by Debbie Harry appearing as though she's been on a Xa*ax IV since 1978, and for spending 4 minutes that I'll never get back listening to a Miley Cyrus song with a lyrical reference to feeling like she has no panties on. /default_blink.png

 
Wrecking Ball (said it again), has a lot to answer for. I wonder if there is a forum she is on for Molly's. I feel deeply sorry for her in the same way I abhor Marylin Manson and still reel from the stinging blow of my Step Father reminding me of his feelings for Ozzy Osborne when I went to a concert back in jr high - oh my goodness, things have changed since 1982, but that damn ball still drops. Debbie was still more entertaining than Courtney Love in days past - I have to give her that.

 
Happy New Year to all!! I didn't exactly make a resolution but wanna make a conscious effort to

Mine are about the same, focus on healthy habits.
Exercise, and actually regularly use the weights I bought a couple years ago.

Eat more healthy foods

Get down to 5mg of bean per day for my back and then go on to see my old friend Dean again.

And I want to fully convert from smoking MJ in a bong to only using MJ in a Vaporizer or via edibles.

I have decided to stop being so nice and look out for myself since I'm the only one who will. The nice nun gets trampled but the bitch nun gets respect. Here's to a great new year for us all! And a new start for this bitch!

 
My New Year resolution is working pretty good so far, it's all about me! Me first and everybody & everything after! I have given half my life putting everyone first no matter what and it's never enough while I was falling apart. Towards the year ending I found myself complaining more & more about the constant pain and realized no one really was listening to my needs but just kept taking of me so as it got harder to meet everyone's needs I became very bitter because the one thing I enjoyed the most taking care of everyone I could no longer due it well but struggled in pain and it hurt to see no one really cared. So now I'm working to find the right meds for my pain, got glasses & contacts and finally threw away the cheaters (that's what I call the Walgreen $10. Glasses), I've gone to my dentist for my teeth, walking & watching my weight to try and feel better. So now I'm happier and on the right track. I'll check back at years end with an update God willing.

 
Veronica, you go girl!  Your post hits home with quite of few of us.  Being in constant pain in past holidays I still tried to do all the cooking, shopping, etc., but I found the same situation as you did.  Now trying to get above the pain enough to take care of myself. Still very disappointed in my adult children who I sacrificed emotionally and financially.  I always said that I would not regret the extras I did for my children, not finding that true anymore. 

Stay focused and don't let guilt step one inch into your life!

 
Medicated Mike can I get an hallelujah on that, smoke more weed, and less drugs! It's freaking healthy for us, look at NORML, it helps shrinks tumors, epileptic persons, aids, kicking a narcotic habit, the list goes on, and it's an herb blessed by the Gods above! And Cat, we have so much in common, I swear it is so weird, I have the ilolite portable vape pen, love it! My doctor in California made me get a volcano, cost almost $600.00, because he said it was more healthy way to smoke weed, I had to show him my volcano before he wrote for my 99 plant license and mm card, love the vapo pen so much more and so much cheaper! But their are days I like to fill two bags from my volcano, use some honey oil with my screens, and double fist it! I love dp2327 post, can I get an amen girl, you rock!

Amen to flower too, after years of drug abuse, I felt guilty and spoiled my son rotten to buy his love, it didn't work, the Beatles were right, Money Can't Buy You Love! Now getting sober, down to one subtext a day and using Heisenberg's post about benzo island, a doctor who helps you detox off of them without pain and sickness, I feel like I'm becoming a better mom. I try to be honest all the time, did get caught today when he asked if I watched American Horror Story season two, I lied and said I did, he asked if I liked it, I said I loved it, then he said, "what was it about?" I plead the fifth, he reminded me, that moms aren't allowed to plead the fifth! Teenagers, wait Miz, when your cute little 18 month old grows up, they get in their teens and they think they know everything! Enough to drive me bat shit! So many good resolutions, hope I can actually stick to just one this year! I'm not expecting the world, just one, mainly not smoking cigarettes!

I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
