who's burned out from work? sick of it? what do you do when you hate everything around you at work, just so tired of the same fucking people , same bosses with the same attitude, the pay is good so shit out of luck if i quit and try to find something else,

what do you do when your with the same company for 10years!!, i am so tired of pretending to be at work, just leave me alone!! DONT TALK TO ME!! DONT ASK ME !! I DONT KNOW!! WTFFFF LET ME LEAVE AND WALK TO MY CAR WITHOUT HAVING TO TALK TO  SOMEONE !!!

Dude I can soo relate to this. I've experienced the 'hamster wheel' effect big-time. I do my best to try and always hold on to 'something' I to look forward to...that can be a package, a vacation, or even 'veg time' at home/away from work. It's not a perfect system, but usually gets me past the most pressing current challenge.

Of course the old saying is true that "life is short" and you can always 'walk'/go somewhere else. I did that last year after working at the same place 23 years. It's been a mother f'r trying to learn a new job, people, culture etc. but I'm sooo glad I did it! I was burnt out and working with other burn outs, making great money. Now work is more interesting/rewarding and I'm making better $. May be worth considering...good luck.

Work sucks but it geys Peanut the fiat currency that he needs to purchase things that make work suck a little less..and the energy to work 12 hrs a 6 days a week. It is something to do in the winter. Not as fun in the summer. Even if I won the powerball (which I do not play) I would keep my same job. I would not work as much overtime but I would still put 40+ in a week. Lil Peanut would be upset without his new toys n treats weekly if I didn't work! I really don't mind work, but I do mind 30-35% of my earnings being stolen by a guy who claims to be my uncle sam.

I hate my job, really hate it. but I love my bosses and coworkers. It will be so bittersweet when I move on but I can't wait!

I just don't see how some people can get up every morning and go to their jobs every flipping day. I have a hard enough time getting there and I only work 4 hours a day, hell..I called in yesterday and today. Maybe I'll get fired maybe I won't but I don't see why they kept me around for 12 years because I'm hardly ever there. I keep telling myself I will be going back full time but who the hell am I kidding. Can't do 4 hours how the hell am I going to go back to 8?

You must be a really hard worker when you're there. That's great that they're understanding of your situation.

They are always telling me that they understand I have pain issues and things and that I "Have a vast knowledge of the job",but they don't need me, not really. I'm surprised they kept me long enough to get this years bonus, a neat $3000.00 bonus.

I sympathize guys! Thank GOD i dont have to work anymore. I will leave that to my man!

Already put in for a transfer for next year. Been teaching high school for 17 years. Need some fresh air.

My cousin has a CDL and just applied for a job driving a bark blowing truck for a landscaping company. When he called to apply over the phone, he said to the manager, "Hey, I hear you guys give great Blowjobs"...Surprisingly, they thought it was funny as hell, and hired him over the phone..True Story, funny shit!

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  12. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
