I've used benzos on and off for years. Only for short periods. When visiting in laws or family, stressful work situations etc. Recently when taking any type of benzos even in very small doses I get withdraw symptoms. Even if I take months off.

For example I will take. 25mg of Xanax. I get great relief next day I feel good but the following days I feel rebound anxiety and depression. It was never like this before. I wonder if I burned some type of receptor out. Benzos I've used valium, Xanax, etz, klonopin. It sucks it was nice having that tool at my disposal. Now I'm afraid to touch them.

Yea this is a sad fact of bennies you develop a tolerance quite rapidly especially to alp or loraz, the fast actors. But tolerance develops to others as well i know my tolerance to diaz and clon is high and symptoms of withdrawal are inevitable if used regularly and I have a dependency on bupe as well so if run out of either hell ensues. I plan for it  to the best of my ability bupe is my priority but bennies now are as well even though i can deal without them for a while, just makes you slightly insane with how long acute wd from bzds last its usually equal to how long you take them. I.E. make a large order of rivo aka clon and use daily for  a month and run out or stop cold a month of wd symptoms is not unusual for me at least.

So lately i try to rely on non benies for sleep like abi ans, or zipo help alot so does carasip aka so ma.

Long story short TOLERANCE IS A BITCH!

I have had a prescription for Xanax since about the time they first came out in the 1980s. I take them as prescribed and even though I’m supposed to take two a day, there are days I only take one.  In October I made an appointment but when I got into the office I found out my insurance had been terminated, long story.  I forgot my ATM Card and they wouldn’t take a check so I made an appointment for the next week well I got home and found out I would be short by three days.  I went through Hell.  First I was really on edge.  Then I felt detached, like I wasn’t me.  I cried at the drop of a hat.  The worst was I woke up on the floor so I must have had a seizure and that scared me to death.  The morning of my appoint, It took everything to get into the shower.  I was afraid to drive since I knew I could have another seizure, so I  had a friend take me.  When I got in to my doctor, I told him what happened and he was upset that the “nurse gatekeeper” turned me away just because I isnt have the money.  Long story short, I sled him to please change my medication to a longer acting Benzo, so he changed me to Klonopin.  I feel so much better,  I feel much more even.  I’m  glad I made the change and I will never run out again.  I don’t miss the Xanax at all

@Patrice, am I correct by saying after all the years of 1-2mgs of xan you simply switched over to kpins? Or are we talking years?

Hi Dago.. I’m sorry it took me so long to get back to you but My Laptop was stolen so I was having a hard time getting online.  To answer your question.  I had been taking Xanax 1mg once or twice a day as needed for many years and the switch to Klonopin was very easy. I was a little afraid but my doctor told me I would be fine and if I had any problems to contact him.  I swear the switch was painless. I like the Klonopin better because they build up and they don’t wear off quickly like Xanax.  I really panicked when I ran out of Xanax just for a few days and that was my biggest reason for changing plus doctors are really getting weird about Xanax. If you want to change but are in doubt make sure you have a few Xanax on you, I had a few I It from a friend but i didn’t need them. If you have anymore questions let me know

  1. JustChiilin @ JustChiilin: Just hearing of R.. Is there a thread or post of what happened?
  2. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: domestic p1ns are harder and harder to come by which sucks and when I find them, they're so expensive
  3. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: me too. sad to see and hear but honestly when R told me he was serving 6,000 people, I knew it was a matter of time
  4. C @ Charizard179: Still pisses me off, common folk need subscriptions for anxiety etc, while the “big dogs” at the top are obviously subscribed out of their minds on high energy shit
  5. C @ Charizard179: Domestic only for a while. Should be fine
  6. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: so anything I get coming to me from outside the country will be inspected regardless if it looks sus or not
  7. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: I've been flagged and sent a love letter a long time ago for an international shipment
  8. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: doubtful, unless international
  9. C @ Charizard179: Possibilities of getting red flagged etc
  10. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: right but you're fine
  11. C @ Charizard179: Small fish, 1 time subscriber…shit still sucks
  12. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: they want big fish
  13. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: Unless you're a big buyer they don't give a care
  14. L @ Lonertool: Everything is up in the air until we have definitive proof of C let not put that energy in the air! let all just do our part and chill out. Things will settle eventually RESPECT to everyone here of course the important thing is to make sure we all practice great OPSEC and support each other in this time.
  15. Wicked @ Wicked: Monero isn’t a bad idea imo. I’ve asked a few times to use it and been denied actually
  16. M @ Mammasboi123: There’s been some rule
  17. P @ ProtekPhilipe: Should vendors here start prioritizing monero for payment? And maybe show site links for sponsored member threads only. It's a tiny defense, but any way to stay lower key would help right now
  18. etizoman @ etizoman: God fucking dann. Just read the article. Definitely RIP to their normal lives ever again. Both C and R were Amazing people and have provided a lot of great times and some personal wisdom thru their products. And what @Wicked said, its true, man. Sucks you gotta kinda be paranoid when you reach a certain level of status....
  19. Wicked @ Wicked: I agree, it’s unfortunate and a loss for many of us, you’re right R was one of the best. Hopefully it serves as a reminder to others to always stay on top of things. I’m sure it’s easy to get comfortable and feel unstoppable when you reach a certain level as an author
  20. ms3031 @ ms3031: Its unfortunate for everyone but tbh, as with most things illegal, they eventually fall either by their own hand or LE, there are some rare success people but whose to say who is working with authorities and who is not. In fact thjs entire forum creates an easy access to the people they want just a much as we want them. Nothing can be done for those who fly too close to the sun.
