Xanax Recreational Dosage?

Keep in mind this is something that will vary greatly from person to person... tolerance being the main factor.

What one person considers a "recreational" dose, could be downright dangerous for the next person. Please be cautious folks.

True but...  2-3 mg a place to start?

Good morning. I believe that Heisenberg has provided the only safe, reasonable answer to your question. The simple truth is, it varies greatly from person to person, and it would be irresponsible as a non-physician to specify a dosage, particularly for recreational use. I would recommend reading and researching your product of choice, and learning it's typical therapeutic dosage range. This will provide you with the information you seek, and you may make your own decision from there. And as Heisenberg said, please be VERY careful, as it's your life we're talking about.

Lethal dose would be extremely high?

recreational?! anything id consider recreational with Xanax would just knock me out. I would really use the first advice given to you and see how 1mg or a bar would effect you.

1mg take away my anxiety and allows me to leave the house and do some stuff. But effect go away in 1 hous and im totally sober again. Maybe a higher dose will make it last longer? Anyone about this?

I would like to add for anyone else might be reading this.

The xanax is great for social anxiety - Going into crowded places, stores , chores what ever. It eliminates the anxiety whitout causing drowsiness or any other unwanted side effects. Other benzos tends to make you alitle heavy headed and sedatet wile xanax makes u light headed and fully functional.

Just wanted to add that good luck people

Not necessarily! What one persons body chemistry could easily handle, another persons would flat out reject. There is no "one size fits all" when youre talking about medications. Other conditions, from fitness and just overall health and well being to conditions known or yet undiagnosed play heavily into this.

I would strongly suggest starting with the very lowest dose and go from there, taking into account all things from food consumption to half life of the med...as said before, it's your very life being discussed in terms of recreation!

Please be careful!!

FG

You completely missed my point by asking this. Short answer.. no. I would never recommend someone to pop 2 to 3 mg of Xan for recreation. Equivalency wise, that's 40-60 mg diazepa.m, which is a lot.
I really don't see the recreational value of BZs. Very useful for anxiety and panic attacks, but the BZ "high" that many seek is just a wobbly, tired, sloppy drunk feeling.

As FG suggested, start with the lowest effective dose. And remember that every med affects each individual differently.

Frankie offers very sound advice indeed. And on a follow up note, below is a link to a drugs.com page on Xanax dosage considerations. Certainly wouldn't hurt to read it over and educate yourself further on the subject. As FG said, it's your life we're talking about.....

Great point H, I've always felt the same where benzos are concerned. For an insomniac with a cervical fusion and any number of old hockey player injuries, I certainly appreciate the value of alps in terms of sleep induction, although staying asleep is another better, and in my experience, better addressed with Val's, given the half life differences. From a recreational point of view, however, I've just never understood it. I just melt into the sofa and pass out watching Sports Center, LOL.

Thank you for your advice I guess im not going to ask similar questions on this forum LOL. I like taking high doses of benzoz  watching tv or some joe rogan pod cast  feel warm and cozy till I pass out.

Does anyone know if taking benzoz on full stomach effect it or empty stomach? And does nicotine effect benzos not cigaretts just plain nicotine? Ive read several arguments around this some say yes some say no.

In my experience taking any benzo on a full stomach lessens the effect, and nicotine is a stimulant so I would assume it counteracts a depressant.

Taking benzos on an empty stomach will bring on the drug much quicker than on a full stomach IME.  Food affects the rate of absorption. Regarding nicotine and benzos,  I know that smoking does have a negative impact on Xanax and other benzos, but plain nicotine, like the patches, gum etc, would probably react the same as tobacco.

A recreational dose for a normal person should be around a bar or 1.5 bars maybe. Just be ready to forget how you got to bed and wonder what happened to all the pizza in the fridge. Lol

  1. S @ scarred14: rift there is people who dont like having to weigh everything and especially compounds where u only need a tiny bit so it would probably sell but i feel its against the nature of what the compound should be for
  2. S @ scarred14: whats this about latsdoodis
  3. RiftChems @ RiftChems: yeah will prob just offer it in powder form
  4. xenxra @ xenxra: @RiftChems i'm sure given the nature of why most people are using that compound they would prefer non-pressed but i don't see it not selling
  5. RiftChems @ RiftChems: is there any market for pressed sr-17018
  6. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: So, it’s capricious and arbitrary to selectively fill some adderall Rx’s but not mine. I told “Jacob” I’d be making a board of pharmacy complaint and he could explain why in my individual case he refused to fill a valid prescription. His store policy can either fill nobody’s and violate contracts with health/drug insurance plans or fill everyone who presents with no clinical suspicion of harm or diversion on an individual basis. Corporate decisions are profit driven; unlawful if medical choice

  13. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: Know how to get a script if you don't have ADHD? A vyvanse script at least, read the DSM-V diagnostic criteria and apply the symptoms to either real thing in your life or make up shit, give examples of the symptoms, don
  14. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: Pretty sure most pharmacies won't honor a prescription from those kinds of services.
