Just be aware that what you are taking is not really hydro. Someone on another forum sent in a "hydro" from top 10 to ED.org and here were the results
http://www.ecstasyda...ew.php?id=2440. Be careful taking too many as you are likely to fall asleep fast due to the benadryl in there.
For several reasons, I decided to investigate Top10 further, including the "disclosure" present on their website regarding what they are selling as hydrocodone. Two things are of note. First, in their rather lengthy disclosure, which I would categorize as more of a low class defensive rant, they make the following claim in defense of recently referenced lab testing that indicates that their product is in fact codeine:
"Even with gc/ms (gas chromatography/mass spectrometry) tests and ms/ms tests which are generally regarded as very accurate there have still been instances where these tests have been discredited in court due to the conditions under which the tests were done or the possibility of false positives due to very similar chemical structures of compounds, which could be the case here"
Research confirms that not only is GC/MS testing the most accurate available today, it is also universally accepted in legal jurisdictions as absolute and authoritative. The only exception, as with any testing, would be some sort of tampering with the material being tested, or its contamination. However, if this were alleged, the solution is simple. Offer some of your product for independent re-testing by several unaffiliated labs. Of course, they don't appear interested in taking advantage of this simple, ready solution. Further, their claim of false positives due to very similar chemical structures of compounds is pure bunk and made-up pseudo-science. In fact, GC/MS is the preferred method of testing of standard 5 and 10 panel screens for just this reason, which is its ability to differentiate compounds of highly similar structures.
The second item of note is that they claim that this product, which they call Dicod301, is
"produced by a local State facility for use in State hospitals only. They are not commercially available. How we come to be able to procure them is a story not for the telling". Not commercially available, eh? How convenient. That being said, I can certainly believe the part about this story not being one they want told. Through my personal research, as well as having received confirmation from a business contact in Johannesburg, I can assure you that neither the South African government, nor those of any of their 9 provinces, own, operate or control any pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, nor do they source the manufacturing of any pharmaceutical product(s) via contract agreement with any private sector manufacturer. So, once again, this claim is nothing but bunk. The name of the medication "Dicod301" is not registered with any trademark or patent authority anywhere in the world, and it's name and appearance in the website photo are nothing more than a cheap attempt to copy Dicodid, which is a pure hydrocodone tablet / capsule, approved for use only in Germany as an antitussive.
I can personally speak to Dicodid, which I purchased once from a now defunct IOP back in 2005. I found it to be rather weak when not used in combination with ibuprofen, and generally similar to comparable doses of US hydrocodone formulations when taken with said ibuprofen. Given the lab reports as well as customer reviews indicating the weakness of the product and the dose required to achieve adequate analgesia, I'm quite confident in saying that this product is in fact codeine, formulated with the antihistamine cyclizine, largely for nausea prevention.
As a final note, we've certainly seen the market forces at work of late with the rising prices of DHC vs hydrocodone and other popular western PK medications, as well as the increased costs of those same popular western medications. If this product were in fact hydrocodone as stated, then my question would be why is Top10Meds so incredibly charitable as to offer customers hydrocodone at 1/3 of market value? They're not a global charity, they're an IOP, and personally, I've never seen an IOP that priced their products at 1/3 of market just to be nice to people. Give me a break. If codeine is your substance of choice, then by all means, but it can be had cheaper than this "Dicod301" product, and from more reliable, reputable vendors at that.
