Well damn.

My experience with AY has been almost flawless - I mean, he really is great!

However, I JUST experienced my first confiscated package this week.  This was only my 3rd package ever to this address.  REAL bummer as I was trying to prepare for a 10 day trip.

I wrote AY this morning and have not heard back yet (too early their time).  I'm confident that all will be okay, eventually - of course that does not do me any good right now.  Maybe I can have it resent to my destination for the next 10 days...

Any advice or stories about how this goes down both from getting the stuff and from a LE point of view?  Purple never contacted me, but I contacted them, assuming it was just weather related.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Due to several factors, including those related to some of the latest reports shown above in this thread, Antonio will, effectively immediately, ONLY be providing service to customers in the western US. I not at liberty to cite specific states in open forum for security purposes, but if you are an existing or prospective customer of Antonio's, please contact him for specific states that he is able to service.

You would serve yourself and the board as a whole by going back and re-reading this or any SY thread.

If you have read, perhaps you missed the multiple members advice regarding contacting any courier...in short...don't.

As recent as today, both Zero and Damien commented on confiscation matters.

I have spoken with Ant and he seems to think that I will be able to receive a shipment on certain days. We have it all arranged. I will reposrt back after the tranx has been completed next week. Would anyone advice against this transaction if he's okayed it?

Thanks for the tip.  Having read much of this entire site, I was aware it was unrecommended to contact the carrier.  However, I interpreted that information as suggesting NOT to call when something goes wrong and not an "all the time" kind of thing.  At the time I called, I thought there was a weather related incident (very likely).  Lesson learned the hard way and my sincere apologies.

AY is being very responsive and I think we have a solution, but I could really use the advice from more experienced individuals on the board.  I have been in this game for 5 years now, but as this is my first    s e i z e   I could really use some guidance.

Yee came through for my friend last week I heard.  Just a couple problems with it but he did come through.  A few days delay in the ordering which sucked for him since he paid for express, and a lot of damage and some missing salsa in the order as well.  So all in all he gives the experience a D+.  Take from that what you will  

 
I was hoping to put something through today as we arranged but Ant felt that it was not "right." I think he's waiting  to see if some of his others test positive B4 he takes on any more. A little disappointed, as stock is getting low for me, but appreciate the up front warning rather than the bestsavings style approach- just ignore the customer until they start posting negative comments, then do as little as possible to make them happy- and provide them with the services that they paid over inflated prices for but very late, not exactly as ordered, and with alot of attitude.

At least Ant is not choosing to do this. Hope he can work out his system soon. 

 
MODERATOR UPDATE

I just wanted to briefly post a request in an attempt to keep information more easily accessible as I try to remain current on developments with the various SY vendors and impacted member / customers. In any event, my request is that for the time being, any off topic conversations (which I rather enjoy and have no problem with, by the way), discussion of the SY situation in general, etc, be kept in the Mexican general discussion thread only. My objective here is to have the individual SY vendor threads remain 100% on topic with ONLY member order updates. I'm maintaining a running spreadsheet of members with order issues, and if all vendor thread posts are order updates only, it makes it much easier for me to follow new content and update my tracking list accordingly. Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter.

Sorry to hear about your recent bad experience, you mention that you gave this vendor a shot, due to positive posts made by '"elders" of the forum'- your term, not mine.

I have attached a recent post made by a well-respected member of this community (at least as far as I'm concerned). And while I wound not speculate to his age, he is definitely someone who has plenty of experience and time here on the board.

I know that others reported success, but this attached quote got my attention and I am NOT a customer of AY's.

It's always a crap-shoot, but I think your experience serves to drive home the point even further that this vendor may be exhibiting some troubling patterns that all would-be customers and Newbies (which I am not insinuating you are) should take serious note of when considering this vendor.

Whether he is a scam or not, I could not say, but this post warrants some additional caution moving forward.

Just my 0.02 and I'm just a spectator, not at all looking to add any insult to injury on your part.

I agree with several other posts, why is this guy still being recommended? 
I can't speak to the issue of recommending this vendor, as we don't "recommend" any vendor as a matter of policy, at least staff members anyway. That said, I have emailed Antonio on your behalf regarding this situation, and will let you know what he has to say when he replies.

I know I am new to this forum, but believe me I am no newbie and been dealing with Mexican pharma for over 10 years. I don't frequently post, unless there is a problem so others don't get hurt for thousands of dollars.  I am not a small time player, trust me.

I send AY the WU, he send me a DVD case with a $4.00 movie in it. My order was big not a small 10 or 20 we are talking ALOT more. Whatever, I know he wasn't recommended, but endorse. Guess I have to watch what I say so I don't get kicked off and problem goes away for him.

I know you're in an ugly situation right now, and I am sorry about that. But you should re-read the 2nd paragraph of Jewy's OP and take some personal responsibility.

To borrow your words Big Pimpin, "whatever". I DO NOT, under any circumstances, endorse nor recommend vendors. Period. In fact, it's board policy that NO ONE tells anyone where to do business. We are an information exchange community only, not a concierge service. And Blue is correct. Please refer to my original post in this thread, where I indicate that this vendor has NO operating history, I have NO personal experience with him, and to order ONLY at your OWN risk. Does that sound like an endorsement to you? If so, then here's a link for you:

Finally, I find your message arrogant, disrespectful and rude, particularly since you posted it immediately following my last post where I indicate that i will personally follow up with AY on your behalf, and had already emailed him. I have now received a 2nd report of an empty DVD case being received by a customer of Antonio's today. Further, I have not received a response to my email as of this moment. I will give Antonio until 5:00 PM eastern time to respond to my email, as well as to address the community, regarding this situation and how he plans to resolve it. Should both of these events not occur by 5:00 PM eastern time, and the planned resolve not be swift, decisive AND include just compensation for those who have been waiting weeks for what turned out to be empty packages, I will move this thread to the blacklist for a period of 1 week to allow members to share information regarding any outstanding orders, at which time the thread will be permanently closed and removed from the board. That is all for now.
