    Euthanasia

100% for euthanasia. If I had a debilitating disease or affliction, I would consider this as a viable option. Traveling abroad in order to do it would suck because I would prefer to die on my homeland’s soil. Dr. Kevorkian was way ahead of his time.

    Ice cream !!!!! Favorites?

My all time faves: rocky road and heavenly hash. Fortunately/unfortunately, depending on your perspective, i can’t eat ice cream anymore. I miss it! Back in the late 80s, early 90s, they had these Micro Magic shakes. When my bro and I would come home from school, my mother would let us have one...

    Water or Coke

Great info. I’ve been drinking a gallon of water a day for the last two years and haven’t had soda in nine years. Admittedly, Coke was my go to when I did partake. I use the restroom a ridiculous amount of times, at one point losing count at 11 trips with the longest release time being 18...

    Suburban Speedball - full recipe

“If still using Folgers, re-examine your life” LMFAO! Very unique recipe. The first I’ve seen where opiates are used.  Great post :)

Does anyone here have an addiction and doesn't smoke cigarettes?

I smoked cigs when I was 22, quit when I was 23, I’m 39 now. I smoked Newport 100s and would rip the filter off. I went to rehab for alcohol. In detox, they offered us free packs of cigarettes. 305 Brand I believe. I declined smokes but opted for the copious amounts of Lil Debbie pastries they...

What to do about Manic depression/bi-polar disorder?

I’m bipolar. I’m on gabapentin 400mg in the morning, 100mg in the afternoon and 400mg at night. Depakote 250mg twice at night (variably) and lamictal 100mg one in the morning and one at night. I was on latuda 20mg, then my psychiatrist upped it to 40mg. A few months later, I ended up experincing...

    Anyone Use Baclofen?

My father uses baclofen, says it works wonders and he has two or three slipped discs in his lower back. They don’t do much for me except give me loose poo.

    Alternatives to Backpage?

I successfully met someone from www.doublelist.com  but I am a female so it’s easier for chicks than it is for dudes to hook up.

    I Admit

I admit I’m on the verge of quitting a job I’ve been at for 19 years.  I admit I should care about things like being an aunt for the first time, or the sound of waves crashing, but I don’t.  I admit my cat, Axel Henry the 1st, is the coolest feline in the world, but he’d be better off with...

    Melasma

Does anyone here have melasma? I thought at first it was sun damage, so I went to a plastic surgeon’s office and spoke to their aesthetician. That was the first time I ever heard of it. She put me on an Obagi regiment, but that stuff is expensive and it’s only temporary. I looked into...

    Bi polar

I was diagnosed with bipolar in 2015. I didn’t tell my parents until 2019. Although I am on (variably) lamictal, gabapentin, depakote and latuda, the need to self medicate rears its ugly head here and there. The way everyone has described relationships is similar to what a relationship with me...

    Why Did You Join DBG?

Every so often, I have a strong desire to escape. It’s uncontrollable. The hankering ebbs and flows and stops abruptly, which I cannot explain or understand. Although I do have osteoarthritis in my hip due to double hip surgeries and now scar tissue makes it hurt, I indulge for pleasure, not...

    Story behind your username

I used to weigh 300lbs, I’m white and my fluffiness was out of control. I would like to change my username to asthmatichooker, and I will eventually.

    Guns...

Great question and topic. I do not see it as practical and enforceable as some politicians want it to be. I haven’t looked too deep into what stipulations the law would entail to comment further, I just don’t see it as cut and dry.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  12. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
