Hope our guy pops back up here we miss you, Uncharted!

I hate to leave this review, because I've had such good interactions with Uncharted up to this point and I wanted to give him every benefit of the doubt; I have waited over a month to make completely sure that this was not merely an accident or failure of communication—and should he return and make it right, I will gladly change my review—but I think I have to speak up: I ordered from him shortly before he went dark, and did not receive what I purchased. To be precise, he (seemingly graciously) offered me the last 18G he had since I was in need and did not charge me the full amount for 20G. Yet when I received the package (which was mostly packaged and sent as normal) it did not have the product inside.

I find this whole situation strange for a few reasons: first, he did not charge me the full 20G when he could have, and given our past relationship I would've trusted him and paid the full amount. Likewise, he still sent out the package, just without the product. This is partially why I gave Uncharted so much leeway, as it seemed to me most likely that he simply made an error and forgot to include the last 18G he had, since it was a last-minute order, of a weird amount, and he put the effort in to pay for mailing it out at all. I tried contacting him more than half a dozen times both here and in email, and have gotten no response.

I don't know what happened to him. I don't know if I was exit-scammed, or if this is just a terrible confluence of events and he is just MIA right now. I'm severely disappointed because until now, I had nothing but positive experiences and he seemed like an all-around decent guy. Again, I will correct the record if he comes back online, but as of now he's gone dark and has yet to respond at all. Very, very disappointed!

ahh man that sucks so hard to read that :-// I hope he does come back ASAP and rectify that situation, or even just make an appearance to let us know everything is OK. Always had wonderful things to say about uncharted so far and hope it remains like that when his new stock gets in

This happened to me too. Ordered 10G, got a normal looking package with nothing inside.
Oh well, I kind of accept that some money I spend here will go in the trash.

Holding out hope that this was for opsec or something. Like BigMig said, I'd be happy to backtrack that if it was made right.

Yikes, I'm gonna have to assume this is intentional then until further notice; once is a reasonable mistake, twice with absolutely no contact and going completely dark sounds like an exit-scam. I suppose that's the risk you take, but I gotta say...this one stings. Really liked Uncharted until now.

Right before he went MIA, I ordered what he claimed was his “last” 8 grams. I got the tracking number, but noticed it got delivered to Detroit, MI.
This is nowhere near where I live, so I emailed him and messaged him several times and eventually gave up—figuring he was on break until his next re-up in early August.

Hearing that you ordered “the last 18g” is suspect since the 8g I ordered was also his “last 8g”…
That being said—I did TRY to place an order for 20g which is my usual order. So, if this was a true exit scam, why limit me to 8g and not have me send funds for 20 if there was no intent to fulfill the order? This just doesn’t make sense to me.

Then there’s the fact that his last activity on DBG was 7/9… If you’re out of supply and waiting on your next shipment which was supposedly early August… I would expect he’d take 10 mins from wherever he is to log in and drop simple update on DBG or his website.

Overall, just a very odd scenario….

Lol I was thinking the exact same thing.. I always got 20 and he told me max 10. Why not exit scam all the way?
But also, I can't see any reason for sending empty packages besides being able to send a tracking code to keep up appearances. Weird situation.

Man, this whole thing is just weird. Maybe he intentionally made all these discrepancies so we would give him the benefit of the doubt and not look into it for a while? But even then, it's not like we have much recourse anyway. Also, WHY COULDN'T HE HAVE SCAMMED ME FOR JUST 8G TOO!?! lol, kidding aside, that pretty much seals it. 3 flaked orders and no contact for more than a month. I just can't come to any other conclusion unless the dude has some airtight explanation coming shortly. But I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Damn man I feel for you, that's rough..
I think about it like this (to cope), I got scammed out of a few hundred bucks, but honestly his prices were fairly cheap - so if I had ordered from another more expensive vendor and got all my packages, I'd still be down money overall compared to ordering from him and being -1 package.

Still tho, getting that empty package felt pretty bad.

Yeah no doubt, I've been familiar with the scene long enough that I know it just comes with the territory, and it was good while it lasted. Just annoying that literally every single vendor for this particular product ends up this way (or no longer selling it) eventually.

Probably shouldn’t post this, but since it appears he’s likely headed to the bitch-board(blacklist) I’m just gonna say it. Dude seemed like an arrogant, ego stroking douchebag. “Thanks for the awesome review, I know I’m so amazing and awesome and perfect. Now excuse me while I suck my own perfect dick but expect an extra 50pg next time!”

When I was brand new to this, had no idea what a temp link was but figured it out on my own, and tried asking him a simple question “in plain text” via email and on here, as it was never stated that literally every single harmless message needed to be sent in a temp link. To which he never replied, other than to re-post his instructions which didn’t answer my question at all. Wasn’t even a question about magazines or anything that shouldn’t be named or discussed and didn’t contain any words that one would find necessary to censor or anything. Thankfully my great judge of character stopped me from attempting to try with him ever again, dodged a bullet there.

Not to mention the lack of update situation (after only 5 days) that happened recently where he re ’d to multiple people that didn’t ask him to. Then stated that due to his own idiocy of choosing to do so prematurely to “save his reputation”, he likely was dropping those users from his “exclusive list”. Dropping multiple loyal subscribers that did nothing wrong because of your own dumbass decision, to save your “reputation”? Fucking douche canoe.

And then accepting from multiple other loyal subscribers who’ve dealt with your arrogant, self-sucking bullshit just for them to end up with nothing but empty wrappers?Absolutely fuck this guy. One person is MAYBE an accident. There’s no possible excuse or coming back from 3, but I bet that number is a lot higher and others just haven’t realized it or spoke up yet. No response is a response, folks. Dudes long gone and I can’t imagine any scenario where he’s coming back.
