Have not ordered from A in quite a while (it showed unexpectedly 2Earls!). He just got too popular and every time i would check with him he was out of stock. Did not get exactly what I wanted but a very nice alternative. We had just a few snafus both on his end and my end but as usual it all worked out in the end.

Received part of my shipment today 11/7'- the rest will arrive next week.

Received flying V r0x. Good quality. Even with hiccups I still have to always give A the highest of marks/ratings. He's still the best out there as I really was not expecting anything till next week and he sent me something to tie me over for the weekend. A+++++ for A in every category. Shannon

My saga with A and promise there is a review in here. Just a little miffed w A right now. Everyone loves him but I'm starting to wonder.

11/3 requested stock update (a must with A) 11/3 out of stock, check back tomorrow. 11/4 still no, 11/5 "Yes friend in stock!"

11/5 car in shop, took $30 cab to b&m and made donation before cutoff

heres where it gets interesting. Usually get standard amt of rock candy. This time we had negotiated a Very! Large amt of candy. $ and timing agreed upon (He is still most Expensive candy man of all of them but had lg amount in stock, so I was told)

Sent order info and got quick response, "well I don't have in hand I'm waiting. WHAT, you literally said in stock and you knew how many. Oh I am pis*ed!  Offered a few of something else that day while I waited for my candy. Did get ate Oh pee sat and few rocks11/7. They were fine.not at all what I wanted.

Well of course supply didn't arrive fri or sat. Was gonna be Monday now. I didn't contact him all weekend. Mon checked in and yes they came today but Shorted me. Wtf. I politely said candy arrived (late in day was suppose to be early) and SHORT (+ 2 crushed/dust) His calculations charges for both ship fee, regular price for rocks and deducted for oh p . R u kidding me. U lied and said in hand, took fund and shorted. That's on him not me. I responded with breakdown and said you need to honor agreed $ for rocks and I'll pay both ship and oh p. even using his calcs I'm still shorted, last email said to him "what do u want to do" No response.  ? I'm gonna let it go and move on

My review may not make sense to some as I did give him high marks just the other day. This was mainly for sending me part of my order so I would have something to get me through the weekend. Long story short he basically renigged on a deal we made last week and the remainder of my order was sent slightly short. This was not an accident as I went back and forth with him on Monday morning and he all the sudden started calculating our deal in a way I did not understand (differently than last week). I sent him additional funds over the weekend as well so I could receive a few extra goods. I'm not sure why my there was a price change over the weekend but it was very disheartening. After going back and forth several times Monday I think he just finally decided to agree with my number (which was our original agreement) just to shut me up. My order showed up short with what he decided to change it to over the weekend. I've always thought Alex was the best but this will be the last time I use him.

Recieved part of my order 11/7 (paid for ON which he said he could do for sure / also stated he had my item in stock which he didn't and it took me 2 days to convince him to just tell me the truth)

11/11 - received the rest of my order but was short

As wicked stated, many love Alex and I understand. He used to be my go to guy and I wanted to try him again. Don't want to use him anymore though...live and learn - this is how the game goes sometimes.  Moving on...

Pooner, that's just ... odd. I've never had any issues with A that he didn't make up and then some. In one case, it took a long time for him to make it up (crushed tabs) because he was having a stock problem, but one day, without me asking or him telling me it was coming, I get a notice from the shipping company a letter was arriving the next day, and there was a very nice surprise.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. After trying someone else on the board whose threads are filled with "He told me he had them in stock and then after I sent the money it was 3 weeks of emailing him before I got anything" and having the same experience, I've been very pleased with A - for me, he's always told me when he was out of stock rather than have me send money. He's even told me not to order something because he'd just gotten a couple of bad reviews on a product and wanted to figure it out before shipping more.

However, I understanding, if someone is 99% good, and you are one of the 1% with a bad experience, your experience is 100% bad. /default_sad.png

I will start this with apologies to 2earls for getting off topic. Sciatic you are 100% correct in stating that it is ODD !!  I will also state that your experience with A is precisely what my experience was when I was using him all the time. Anytime there were any issues he was Johnny on the spot as far as taking care of me - making things up to me, extras to make up for mishaps, etc. I used him pretty much exclusively for about a year then this past April/May gradually stopped using him because he was so busy each time I would message him he was out of everything. He would ask me to check back with him a day or two later but he would either be completely out of stock on pk's or just did not have what I was wanting. So I hooked up with a couple of other vendors and pretty much stopped using him. Since May there's been a hand full of times I've messaged him and I've just not caught him at the right time.   Messaged him last week looking for a particular item which he stated he did have in stock - also stating he coup for sure do ON. For 2 days in a row kept telling me it's coming (second time it didn't show he told me my package got lost). Finally got him to admit he did not have what I wanted. No big deal - I told him I would take something else in its place. We made a deal on quantity of items and price after mishap. Only go part of my order then like I stated in my review he decided to change entire deal we agreed upon. We haggled a little on the numbers and I told him I wanted a particular quantity and was willing to do 2nd day shipping so I could get to the quantity I was looking for and still was shorted. Also, the communication did not feel normal as if he was really snippy. I always hate to make accusations like this especially when email communication can be misinterpreted. The only reason I made this follow up review was I found it odd that wicked seemed to have a similar experience at the same time. All of this is so out of character and in my view a fluke. I would still recommend A to anybody with a disclaimer. Again, I think what happened to me is just unusual however it did sort of hurt my feelings and left a bad taste in my mouth. There are a couple of other vendors here I really like and I will just stick with them. I wanted to order from A because I've always thought he was the most honest and I needed an overnight package. Turns out I received none of the above.

Quality: First test of the Alpha is a success as I write this: A. Haven't tried M yet.

Overall Experience: First, my apologies to the Mods but I think since things have gotten, well, a little interesting on a very important vendor's thread, I'm going with more information here than just the review. But hey, there is a review here. /default_smile.png

Second, I want to say that my relationship with Alex has been almost exactly the same as @‌Pooner2013. I started buying from Alex right after he was brought on board here at DBG and continued until he seemed to be nearly cut off from the supply of my main item and jacked his prices way up. At that point I had to move on. But I need a backup and I wanted it to be Alex. I've been waiting for a chance to make a purchase that I know almost always takes from several days to a week and a half (partly due to my use of an alternative donation method). And even though it takes that long, and the prices are quite high, I wanted to do it anyway because I trust Alex, he's been honest with me, and he's really gone to the mat for me for a few times when my waiting period has been really long. For example, once he mailed me a partial order on Saturday. Not sent for delivery on Sat. but actually sent it on a Sat. THAT'S service.

Meanwhile, back at the actual order, funds received Wed. I don't e-mail much during the order process because I know he'll come through but I do check sometimes because I need an idea of when to expect my letter if I or the right person isn't going to be home on the delivery day. So I e-mail him late Friday to see if the letter went out that day. I did not receive a reply. I didn't really think anything of it because Alex has family and often gets out of the office earlier on Friday. I figure I'll hear from him Sunday night, maybe on the outside, Sat. as he has done that before too. Sunday night comes. Nothing. That surprised me. Alex has been very good on communication with me. But I let it go, figuring he's really busy and he'll contact me when he gets a chance, probably Monday morning. Then, all day Monday and nothing. Now I'm starting to get anxious. But I keep checking with my friends here at DBG and nothing is out of the ordinary at that point. I decide if I don't hear from him Monday night, I'll try again. Then Monday night I get my TN with a 'sorry for the delay' and that was it. I e-mailed him and told him that the delay was no problem and the next day he e-mailed with a very 'Alex' e-mail. I felt good about the transaction, with the possible exception of the M's. Anytime I get a box, my excitement - and anxiety - go up. I'm excited because a legitimate M is one of my favorites and anxious because I know they're one of the most faked in the business. I get my glasses and a bright light out and have a look. One looks a little different from the other two, which look the same. My anxiety goes a little higher. Then I read on here that wicked was not satisfied with his box. Then it was time for just a quick hello to Valerie. There's more on that whole thing, but I've rambled on far too long and the rest belongs on the quality thread.

I'll wrap it up by saying at this point, Alex is still very trustworthy, if a bit overpriced, as far as I'm concerned and will remain an excellent vendor in my book unless I'm disappointed with one or more of the M's. I will keep everyone updated on that. My apologies to all for the long post, and also I'm sorry to hear about Pooner's and Wicked's problems with him.

Not yet, got a quick "I'll look into it" and now I'm still waiting for a response. I want to hear what he has to say. And after thinking about it, I'm not willing to take the loss. I want to be made "whole" After all said and done, I will request, no M's then I'll mention it. One problem at a time. Lol.  ?  *added* mbs1 Just read about your M's. It was odd that it was a few in your order and a handful in my order. I do feel, they are not good and he threw in a few for each order so he can get rid of them and especially for me, I wouldn't notice in my order. Hmmm. Very shady and sneaky (I swear this was my initial thought even before your post) is it possible we aren't dealing with Alex. It's been a very cold, snippy and unlike previous transactions. First time using Alex, and I have to give it to him. Great communication, and did just as he said he would. Mg sent 11/13, delivered 11/14 by 10 am. Rita's were my choice and they seem legit. No complaints about Alex on first go round.

 
Once again Alex does not disappoint:

- Literature arrived on 11/14 with no hassle

Good communication throughout transaction.  The particular edition of the magazine I got was the bio of Opie Ocho.  Very, very well written article.
