And order from about 4 weeks or so ago, vikings, arrived overnight but with several, about 5, crushed. I let Alex know, told him no problem, I'll try to put the crushed together, etc. just want you to know so you can let your shipper know. Alex said, hey, you paid for a full order, I'll make it up when I get good vikings but they are really hard for me to get right now - he said he's received some that he tested and could tell were not good, so he wasn't shipping them to anyone, then had some that almost everyone said were good but a customer complained about them, so he was cautious. I told him, no problem, really.
This past week I get a notice out of the blue of a package to be delivered the next day. Figured my wife had just ordered something from Amazon. Package arrived, I opened it, it was from Alex. 15 to replace the 5 that were not missing, just crushed. Mix of white ate five threes, and some one one ohs. Good quality. I was blown away, emailed Alex, he said, you've been a good customer, patient with me when I have had problems getting popular products, good to me when I have had the occassional mistake,
I know he has had people recently who have tried to get orders replaced by claiming they have gotten fakes, out of batches where he has performed his own testing, and where all other customers have reported good quality from the same batch. He's also had people claim they've sent him funds when none have arrived, and then when he asks for more details they refuse to give him more info and threaten to tell everyone on the boards he's a scammer. So he is becoming more careful in terms of what new customers he accepts. But I'd rather wait and order from him than to order from others claiming to have everything in stock but then giving excuses or silence for a month once they've got your money.
