Hello! I have been on and off the boards for years now.  So while some of you might not know me I feel like a lot of names are familiar! 

To my point on this thread: has anyone heard from Alex this week? I know what everyone is reporting but a few things don't make a lot of sense. 

I need to share my story of my experience with old school shipper but I don't want to share in an open forum. It was with Alex. Not sure if I can shed some light on it. 

I am not sure as a new member if I can private message at this point. IF its allowed anyone who is interested can message me and I will share. 

I need to pay to get access as a VIP. I have totally lost contact with all other SY vendors and I need to get a letter before too long! GRRRR! 

Again, if sharing what happened via PM isnt cool then no worries. I think it will shed another view.

@alixjones2018, if your an old member you know me. I believe Alex has been blacklisted I believe or I know he got out because he told me he was planning on doing it. Someone else took his name and people were ripped off. It’s a shame because I loved Alex, he was my very first vendor here. But I know I wasn’t speaking to him because he so chatty, whoever wrote me back wasn’t him, he had no idea what I was talking about and Alex and I would always talk about our boys and family. I woulld stay away, it’s definately not him.,glad to see your back!~Heavenlee

Yes @Heavenlee I do remember you. Just as an aside I cannot remember my user name. 15 years ago I set up email accounts for only the boards/vendors. I took too many years off and do not remember a dang thing now! 

I just realized I might not be able to PM. I would like to share this and then whomever can post it for VIP members. 

I am such a scaredy cat to set up the wallet bitcoin thing....ugh!

Will do, ill pm you as soon as I can, I had my gallbladder removed it was just outpatient laparoscopic but it hurts far more than expected. Years ago they would keep you overnight, now they just want to get you out ASAP ! I hate hospitals and our damn insurance. We pay $1600 a month for just me and my son, and it’s so sad for the people ethat work hard or can’t get on Medicaid. I honestly believe that our health care system is bull crap! We should be like Canad or European countries . Everybody is important and should be treated the same. It seems like they only care about the people who have and could careless about the people who don’t have money. Such rubbish bs, we are all human beings that hurt and feel pain, to disinclude peopled  that can’t afford insurance sickens me. We are the USA and we are like 47th in healthcare for our people, it’s a total disgrace! Good to have you back again. Ill definately pm you, I have to get toast to take my meds! Love ya Heavenlee

Ohhhhh giiiiiirrrrrrlllll don't get me started on our healthcare in the US. I cannot figure out how anyone can accept that healthcare is a right afforded to only the "lucky" few! My daughter is an MD in NYC and she does outreach on Friday night to sex workers. They have really no healthcare access but they are a high risk population and something as basic as humane healthcare could change their worlds. She casts no aspersions on them--her goal is harm reduction.  I could go on. I lived for sometime with no car, no job, no healthcare, no food assistance etc--it cemented my view on all of this crap!

I just realized I never posted an update. I placed my order on 9/25 and recieved my package on 9/28. All was accounted for and of good quality. Have people been having problems with him since then? I was about to place another order but maybe I should hold off.

Not too long ago I had a letter of rosary beads snagged by an old schooler who i guess wanted them more than I did. 

Things got a little "hinkey" around that time. I don't want to give too much deep detail in this public forum  but the old schooler told me an employee of Alex's cleaned out a couple days worth of donations which was a large amount. When Alex asked for the donations back the employee decided to get an upper hand by telling the old schooler what was happening. 

I stopped communicating all together at that point with Alex. I sent him an email from another email telling him what was happening and to not email at this point.i needed to step back and make sure I still understood the issues of making rosaries for people. He replied back to the seldom used email and said ok and thank you. He didn't ask any questions. 

Of course then there was no communication for a week or so. Then out of the blue I got an email to my usual address from Alex's email. 

But it was very odd. I could tell it was not him. I asked him about several things (I ordered from Alex for at least the last five years) and whomever replied was a little privy to our past conversations but missed the mark on several pretty significant items. The color and quality of the beads, etc

When I felt comfortable to order again (that's a story too but for sure not on here!) it was one issue after another with my letters. I always ended up with my beads but the delivery was horrible. But with not being to do this bitcoin "thing" and looking for another vendor I just bucked it up and tried to order far enough ahead. I just didnt order as much or as often. 

Now this last week I get an email that says "Hello Jane, I am back!".... THIS Alex is the old Alex. Asking about all the stuff we have gotten to know about each other. Not the cold "Thank you friend" from the last month or so. 

SOOOOO more out of sheer pain I decided to order again with the one proclaiming "I am back". (Like I said I was always getting the exact beads I ordered from the "'other Alex' but not as quick as I wanted. And some of the excuses were just bizarre.) 

As I keep saying there are more pieces of this behind the scenes story. WOW did I get a lesson on rights, etc in this situation. I found out, at least in my case, that I had a lot of built in protections that I didn't know about with the old schoolers. 

I ordered Friday with the new return of the old Alex. It should arrive soon. I can update on here if anyone wants to know. 

In a nutshell something happened. It may not be as I think exactly, he had told me his uncle and mother had been very ill. Oh I will also say that a couple of times each year I would "talk" with Alex on email about things where the return conversation was just off. I started counting that as a time when the real Alex was on vacation etc and someone else was covering. 

I am sorry if anyone got stiffed. That is not a acceptable. I eventually got my beads.

As I keep saying I am scared of doing something really stupid with bitcoin (my biggest fear is that I will inadvertently send all of my money and realize I  have cleaned out my account in bitcoins trying to send $50 or whatever!)

Doesn't matter if the old Alex is back. If he doesn't unfuck all the past orders then We could give 2 shits. What happened with him is not acceptable and My sympathy is with everyone who got scammed or ghosted by whomever was using Alex Email and services

I'm planning on giving him one final shot. There were only a few mishaps in the past but he did always correct them for me. I'll update as to if I receive my package and on the quality. Part of me wanted to move on and try to find another vendor given the negative reviews as of late,  but another part of me I suppose feels like he never burned me so I might as well give it another shot. He fulfilled an order I placed a month ago with no problems.

Ugh. He's asking me to send cash to a P.O. box instead of WU or MG. That has never been our way. I'm bailing. Guess I need to go vendor shopping now.

@Tyno yep. That ties back into one of people taking a couple of days donations, or at least that is that I have been able to deduct. 

I am going shopping again too as soon as I figure out the bitcoin. I am right in the middle of it and I have a wallet already set up! Yea me!
