A start up with not much original capital, likely no retained earnings, doesn't have resources to top fund anything that didn't make it.  Likely looking for additional $ to make good on SOME old orders, but IMHO, anyone here lucky to get the old order, let alone old and new.  But, some might both, some might get one, others will get zip.  Sounds like a familiar run on the SS method many use when they start to slide but haven't gotten off the grid yet.  Getaway $$ perhaps?  Just a thought.  S-

Well; now it seems  as A is willing to send "Half of the original order as well as the new one".

Having been in the business world many years, this is quite a poor way to have new customers let alone repeat ones!!

The capitol is probably close to nil as well as no reserve nor ability to obtain funding quickly to purchase more supplies on a wholesale level.

Perhaps he will realize these are not the best of economic times and expecting people to fund new orders and only receive half of the undelivered ones is not very endearing to any of us!!

(When I hit the quote button, it doesn't attach, Sorry).  So, all of you that think it is a good idea to send more mula DON'T!!!  Do Not get in any deeper until the original order has been met.  DGSB has made a very good point and Jewy has echoed that opinion or theory. 

Email your vendor and tell them you will not pay for or make another order until the original one on the table is fulfilled.

I have had another message from A and I feel he is sincerely prepared to make this right, but does not have the resources, at this time, to do so for everyone. A states someone called purple and requested details on their shipment and then called repeatedly, raising the red flag and causing the subsequent confiscation.

whether or not this is exactly what happened, I think he needs a chance to make this right and I feel he is genuinely looking into ways to do just that. I was shocked by his earlier suggestion, but I do not feel there was nefarious intent and I am sure another plan will formulate soon. A told me this has never happened to him before and I am going to have to take that at face value and remain patient.

As if this is true, it is a first time for an ill prepared vendor and we should allow him to digest the matter and make plans, before his character is trashed and any chance of him redeeming his reputation is lost completely, with the money. I say wait, as hard as it is. I say try to stay calm and meter your reply's - as hard as that is.

Agreed, too many unanswered questions, but it is early and we do not need to be unkind, he is reaching out and I am sure we will know more soon.

Not for nothing just to play devils advocate one could come up with that reply after readingthe threads on here and use it as an eexcuse to get more money out of you. Just sayin

I have only dealt with R from Rx the past two years, but after the logistic problems I placed a first time back up order with A last week. Double whammied.

 
less information is more at the moment, we are too damn chatty - I am probably the worst, or so I have been told. Less due dates, more updates at receipt. No information unless is accepted code and even then, only after referring to the rules.

And after that - at least we have each other. no one else understands......
