Thanks for the update Roger. I'm going to MG and see if I can get a refund. The one in my area always give me a hard time, asks for ID even when sending (I don't show it) and all sorts of other stuff. There are a few others, but they are unofficially senders only. No dispensing. 

Antonio told me the receiver name in the morning and I sent it in the evening and by then it was different. He says this is the reason for my problem. I did try to send it earlier, by the cut-off, but the MG stations at all the stores I went to were down. I went to three.

I might be out a few bills here. I'm going to have to go back now to MG and beg and explain, blah, blah, blah…

I'm more than just annoyed right now. I guess this sums up my first experience with this vendor.

I do hope you get this worked out so at least you get your money back. I ordered from AY on Monday and did not receive until Friday even though I paid on Monday and it should have been 48 hours and I allowed for this vendors processing time.Then I was told on Tuesday when I didn't receive a TN that it would be sent out O/N on Wednesday since I paid for two day shipping but it was sent out Weds 48 hours and I received on Friday.

On a better note I did receive what was ordered.

about that , the company was the one that make that mistake , I have the tracking number if there is any question .

Thanks for low down dp. Paying for two day but getting the package between 5-15 day later is becoming more and more common, and the fact that we are just having to be happy with getting our packages at all is sad. Like paying 500% mark-up is not enough for good service. 

Perhaps there are weather issues, or other factors that delay packages, and yes we need patience, but you know what would be nice? If a vendor kept an open line of communication about these things, explaining the problem. As customers here we're are not fire-breathing monsters that cannot accept a package a day late. Unless it's every single time, which lately it has been for me.

Also, when a I don't receive my package and the vendor ignores my emails I start to think I've been scammed.

I for one think that if packages are delayed, that's okay, but there must be extra product to make up for it. If I could find a reliable vendor I would be a repeat customer and this revenue would certainly make up for a couple extra vitamins thrown into the mix.

Antonio, with so many problems in such a short time maybe you need to reevalute your focus here. And can't you guys figure a better system to accept payment that MG and WU? Just saying. Now for me, this case is now closed.

Perfect analysis. I am a patient customer and understand sometimes there will be a delay. But communication should be more than a email reply, it should be communication that both parties are satisfied with that will make for a successful business transaction each time. As in don't say one thing and then do another.Hopefully, since Antonio is aware of the issues, going forward other customers will have better service.

 
I did want to mention that Antonio has since reached out and apologized for the breakdown. He is aware of the problems and seems honestly concerned with improving. I thought I'd mention this b/c I've never received a follow-up apology from a vendor B4. (Except from, unsurprisingly, H-man)

That is nice to hear that you received an apology. Rare indeed and I believe that AY is trying to improve and I would definitely give him another go based on how he has responded to our issues. The payment method is a concern to me as well. I don't know how much longer either of these will be an option for any of us. I have heard why MP wouldn't work for the larger vendors but there has to be something out there that we can all use safely and hassle free..there just has to be a solution somewhere down the road.

IN addition, I ordered what I thought to be a different type of vitamin - did not know was ER because of my ignorance,  I had a freak out and emailed him and he did everything he could via email to ensure I had the information I needed to chill out.

Prices high on some things and lower on others...product is A+ from my experience

Discounted shipping b/c he could not send a sample he thought he could...promised it to me next order.

That was quite a first post ReliableBenz. While giving feedback is always welcome - it's actually what makes this forum work - but IMHO, that was a bit too much info and specifics. 

No worries as we were all new once. However if you read a few of the other threads (in depth btw), a few different veterans have previously outlined a typical feedback post that summarizes the "need to know" info without getting too detailed for those that don't need to know.

Something like this - 

Order inquiry - 12/6

Info received - 12/6

Order placed - 12/9 (Had some problems with the info due to an operator error, info eventually fixed, communication with A was great throughout)

Order Received - 12/10 (Quality was good/ok/bad etc...)

Don't mean to come across like an asshole teacher in school, but the rest of that info really only serves as fuel for those who might be monitoring this board for a different reason.

Please take this as nothing more than a little constructive direction, not just for you, btw, but for any other newbs reading this. 

Cause goodness knows this isn't the first time this type of outline has been posted on here, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Blue, promise not stocking you.  We seem to hang in the same circles.  I have recieved info from vendor and then placed order a day or so later.  I see you ask for the specific days reciever.  Not being an expert here with this whole thing, is that something we should start asking?

LOL, Jmorgan, I wish I were an expert, in everything... Anyway, yes, that's my understanding: that a particular receiver's name is good 'til cut-off that day, then subject to change. Doesn't mean it always will change, but we can't blame the vendor if we miss cut-off & but go ahead & leave our funds anyway. I figure that's why there's a cut-off time...

That's for sure! The process is plenty tricky & nerve-wracking even when everything goes right!

Just occurred to me: if vendors know we are from DBG, they may assume we already know all about the proper procedures; they may fear they'll insult a potential customer by appearing to "talk down" to her/him!

The language barrier can also be problematic.

At any rate, although I've placed only one order w/ A so far, I've had a few email exchanges and always found him fast to reply, quite cordial & willing to explain the whys & wherefores of ordering thru him. I definitely intend to do business w/ him again.

I'm too chicken to try MG online -- think you are one of a very few able to make it work  /default_smile.png I've gotten over my fear of the red phone but like paper best of all, 'cause then I'M in charge of all spelling & name placement. 

 
Those G'd dam red phones! I too have recently conquered in a battle with one, but this made me get TOO comfortable. I became weak, Only to go on to lose the following battle to the paper. Don't become weak like me. Fight the good fight against both the stupid red phones and the idiotic pieces of paper.

I think if I was making lots-oh transactions a month then I don't think I would be as bold.  Currently one and once in a while two per month.  So low dollar and low volume hopefully equals under the radar.  When you do it in person do you have to use your real name?  Don't know much about it, but I had read problems getting money back if something went wrong?

correct, you can use any name you want but unless you've got identification in that name it's extremely likely you'd be screwed if the transaction was unsuccessful.

Yes, that's my understanding as well. Speaking only for myself, I find I'm settling into a routine of red phone=real info, paper=alter ego, and I alternate my methodology, mainly to keep off MG's radar for frequent flyers. I know some DBGers would never use their real info, and their reasons are sound -- it's something only the individual can decide. I'm more concerned w/ losing a big chunk of change for a dumb reason (getting the receiver's name wrong, fer instance!) than I am about getting popped. For once, my age and small stature tend to work in my favor, as do my ethnicity & the outward signs of my socioeconomic status -- in the eyes of LE, I'm a pretty unlikely suspect; plus, most of 'em really don't want to haul Granny off to the hoosegow.

Having said that, watch me attract the attention of some blue boy who always hated his grandmother...wouldn't that be swell...
