Food for thought.  In light of the recent SY transro issues, as a group we might consider changing how we and what we post in terms of order shipped and received.  I see some post above giving specific dates which tells me it was overnight which helps Five Oh chase these things down.  We shouldn't have any reference how it got to us, how long it took ect.. This way it makes every form of shipping a possibility and doesn't flag one method.  Keeping them on there toes or shipping hide and seek.

Maybe something like this would be more suitable:

Ordered, received, on time and all accounted for.

If order was delayed or not on time then of course you can say shipping took longer than agreed, or candy missing.

Just thinking aloud.  Sorry if I wasted 3 minutes of your life reading this.  Merry X-Mas /default_laugh.png

Ok fine; lol;  has anyone received from An after the fiasco this week where the pkgs were undeliverable.

Did he reship to anyone  without purchasing something new?

Curious as he stated to me "if you order; i will send half of your lost order as well". Now, the economics of that don't jive with my financial calculator or a simplistic pen and paper numbers game.

I don't have time to draft a PM at the moment, and don't care to elaborate on open forum, but I can tell you that I've been in frequent context with AY, and in fact, his communication has been on par or better than his peers. In any event, he will be making everyone whole, and I've let him know that despite his financial condition, requiring new orders as a prerequisite to receiving an outstanding paid order isn't acceptable. While it may take a few weeks to accomplish, he has promised me that everyone will get what they have paid for, and without any strings attached.

Finally, I can confirm that a round of orders he sent out for delivery today have indeed reached their destinations safely. I'd be glad to elaborate further via PM if desired, but it will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon.

MODERATOR UPDATE

Just a brief update to let all interested parties know that I've been in contact with Antonio today, and his plans are unchanged with regard to taking care of all of his customers with outstanding paid orders. Should you be one of these customers, please do not post questions regarding specific shipping plans / dates in open forum, as I will only speak to that privately. What I can say is that the plan is unchanged from yesterday, and if you have any further questions, please feel free to PM me and I will do my best to answer them. To the best of my understanding, however, Antonio has been proactive in communicating with his customers, so I don't anticipate there being any unanswered questions per se.

Also, I told Antonio that I would pass along his planned change with regard to the shipment of orders going forward, which is that he will only be shipping on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays effective immediately.

Rest assured that this policy is being implemented by Antonio due to what he strongly believes to be in the best interests of his customers, given all of the information available to him at this time. Please do not post questions regarding the reasoning behind this decision, as I'm not at liberty to discuss his reasoning. Should he feel it necessary to communicate his reasoning to his customers, he can certainly choose to do so himself via email.

Finally, I would also ask that the reasoning behind this decision not be speculated upon nor debated in open forum for the safety and security of all concerned.

I appreciate your cooperation & understanding, and a Merry Christmas to all.

What can you say about the recent occurrence with ML and the phone call that was received from a LE figure (couple pages back)? I know there are probably other curious members out there besides me what and why this happened. Without being to specific, can you either post an update or PM me?

I'm sorry, but I have no facts regarding that situation outside of what's been posted. And for obvious reasons, I'm sure Antonio hasn't contacted the carrier to follow up on the matter.

 
understood, thanks for the reply. Was curious if this was just an isolated incident based off of sender, location, etc. . . But with as much "public" info being posted, no need to go into it.
