Bitcoin Suppliers

Finally settled this bitcoin thing with coinmama and exodus for a wallet.  I also got rejected by coinmama at first from bank, but bank sent a text, I put a Y in the phone and all was well. If you have tried paxful and coinbase, etc., in the past and have gotten frustrated, it seems that things are getting much easier now and more user friendly.

Coinbase shut down my account a couple years ago. But when I was using them you had the option of using your direct bank account which took more time but you could also use your debit card and funds were released quickly. The only difference was daily trade limits. To have quick release you couldn't buy more than like $250 at a time. I don't know what the options are now but regardless of method of payment it shouldn't take 72 hours besides the first time you ever used that account

I think they flag as "suspicious" if you buy btc and then try immediately withdrawing to your private wallet and will put a 3 day hold on funds to "give you time to contest the transaction in case it isn't you" or some shit.  such a terrible company....

Paxful is good but at the moment no one is selling anything reasonably priced.  At least for ****

Y'all might want to try https://cryptodispensers.com , it's another way of buying on-line and you will see current market value as it happens before you buy. Looks simple & strait forward. If you don't have any BTC in your wallet now, you're missing the ride up! Cheers!
Hopefully it's a glitch but the site is down right now., this ridiculous, corporations can move billions through off shore accounts but god forbid I $200 worth of btc

Was forced to go to coinmama level 2 even though I was fine at Level 1 and told them repreatedly.   They would not accept me no matter what ID I tried to give them.  It was a few months of haggling with customer service.  I finally switched to another bitcoin vendor and am not going to post anymore who I use so be cautious about that.  And yes, I used a wallet and they never actually said I was banned, but kind of gave me the runaround.  I gave them all the IDs and clear photos they wanted.   Once I told them I was giving up as a customer, they did not try to get me back which is not the usual.  Just a cautionary tale.  I highly suspect the transactions were suspicious and this is how they let you know, but I could be paranoid so make your own mind.  I don't know enough about it to know for sure.

Blockchain wallet now offers direct BTC purchase...no more Coinbase feed
I feel the need to quote this to really drive home the point- Bl0ckchain is mos def where it's at.

It was actually this exact post that I saw in the beginning  of Summer, that completely changed the game for  me. Every single btc transaction I've made* has been on the bl0ckchain app, so thank you Nitetrain!!

[I was banned from c0inbase years ago, and ca$h app never approved me for crypto (no reason given, even after I spent weeks trying to find out why through their customer service.). I've been stuck paying outrageous fees on p@xful which definitely prevented me from doing anything of worth. To reiterate: Bl0ckchain is dope.]

Same experience with coinb@se and crap app.   I used to use blockchain and then it suddenly started saying buying crypto in my area was unavailable.   So I just tried it again and now its like I never had an account.   So I reregistered and on the email verification step and it never emails me the link.   So fuckin sick of these bitcoin sites either not working right or crap KYC verification.   I use CoinZoom now it just works fine.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: i'm surprised none of the CA-US shops have a notice up about it
  2. Alkazar @ Alkazar: It is really annoying\
  3. Alkazar @ Alkazar: Technically they were forced back to work the last time they went on strike in 2024, so this is the same strike for the same reasons in 2025.
  4. Alkazar @ Alkazar: I dont know how to direct reply to people on here. But the Canada Post strike will affect any mail coming from the US. It will be held at a facility until the striek is over. Mail that is being sent from CAD to the US will just not be picked up. It all has to be private delivery services now.
