Okay, she received my message and this was her response:

"No, unfortunately I had a trouble yesterday and the order didn't ship but it will be today. "

UGH, UGH, UGH

It seems that over the past 5 months, since her return from vacation, that NOT going out on schedule OR not receiving TNs has become more of the norm. In the 3+ yrs. I have been using A, this has only recently become a prob. I don't like falling back on R or L because, as someone else stated - you can be pretty sure that you will be waiting a day or two extra. Now....to figure out how to make it through until (hopefully) tomorrow morning.

FG and dsound, I imagine the same is going on with your orders as well. Please keep us updated and I'll try to do the same.

The problem rests with the shippers, tho that distinction means nothing when youre hurting or sick ...

At one point during the holiday season I heard it was taking several extra hours to get to the shipper. I agree with Shattered Soldier, who stated that it should only take once to learn to leave earlier, but not knowing the exact situation, it's easy to play armchair shipper...

I'm sorry youre in a bad situation. Luckily I wasnt there yet, so waiting an extra day is ok for me. If it doesn't come tomorrow tho, I'll be hosed up! Hang in there.

Hey y'all - just a reminder. Remember this past summer how everything was late. I had something like 10-12 late in a row. Finally they go their shit together. Probably fired the bad shipper. R told me that he really didn't know what the problem was. He said same as SS. - you know leave earlier drive faster etc etc. unfortunately I think we are looking at a delay pattern right now. We should all just start covering ourselves. Might as well order 2 day shipping. Save the money. If they are late you'll get it next day.

 
I got my order that I had placed Monday! I get so frustrated with the delays but what can you do! She also comes through at least.

 
Well I wouldn't order from A if anyone is planning on it. Go elsewhere. I've been waiting for an order that was supposed to be sent 2 days ago and it still hasn't been sent. We'll see what today's excuse is but this isn't cool. Next day delivery has come and gone twice. A is off her game big time.

 
I wonder if someone has taken over for her lately so she can take a break. My communications with her seem different...

 
I ordered from Mike at Paylessonline and got order fine and within 24 hours. I used to use A but she shorted me twice and one time claimed their receiver couldn't pick up funds, but they did. Since that time, I stay away from A at cert

 
There are several GOOD vendors out there now that are simply out performing the folks from A and R's group. I think they have reached their servicable customer count. Now you see a lot of delayed orders and mistakes.

Its really too bad, as I can remember when she was the very best out there,

Always scan the thread of your preferred vendor before you place and order. You never know what might be going on. I hope it all works out for you.

 
I ordered some skittles for next day delivery yesterday before cutoff (barely) and never heard from her until now. She just sent me a confirmation it will be sent tonight. I've noticed that if she responds to my order saying ill get a TN tonight, I usually do, and it comes on time the next day. But lately, she doesn't send confirmation of receipt and is silent which pretty much means you can expect a 1 or 2 day delay. It used to be so much better than this.

First off: I received a TN last night and my package around 10am EST. Yay!

It was silly of me to wait until I was really in need; I usually make sure I have 2-4 days covered when contacting any of them. A is by far the most reliable about getting things to me on time; however, it does look as though it is time to start saving the shipping fees. In the past, if something went wrong, A would make up for the difference in shipping costs with extras. That's not happening anymore, so I believe her when she says it is a problem between middle peeps, not her end. Still, when you are hurting and sick, playing armchair shipper is about the only hope there is /default_smile.png . Thankfully, A has never, ever not come through.

The holidays helped me to get off of schedule, so I do recognize I should have ordered earlier as things do happen.

FG and dsound; I feel positive that you'll find a happy delivery today.

Wow! I had typed up my post when I got a telephone call and just now got back to hitting the "Post" button. I didn't realize so many were discussing here today.

First, I come here and check the last couple of pages just about every time I order from A. The last couple of pages from last week, etc. indicated all was fine. So, I ordered, had my usual course of interaction with her and then BAM - no TN and no delivery. Since there is a big time difference between me and her, it is all the more frustrating to be waiting with no email including a TN OR an explanation that it will be late. THIS is where I think the customer service has really begun to break down.

Now that it has been mentioned, I was shorted on one order just recently (keep in mind I am a 2-3x per month customer for more than 3 years). This has happened only one other time and she was quick, quick, quick to apologize and get the rest to me overnight. This last time I felt I was having to defend myself...she did come through, but not without letting me know that in her opinion I was not being truthful. Still, everything was received and I was happy.

About the changing receiver's names: This is almost absolutely 100% of the reason why I have stuck with A through thick and thin. She is the ONLY one of the Alphabet Guys that hasn't ever tried that until just recently. Although she did try to get me to change the receiver (which I cannot do for my own safety's sake), in the end she sent my order and it even arrived on time. I don't know what it is about having the receiver name changed or them getting "flagged", but in my opinion, I send to a name confirmed the same day - if something happens after that, it just isn't my fault. A is the only one who ever conducted themselves in the correct manner and fulfilled her end. Every single one of the other SY vendors has pulled this on me (one more than once) which results in me out of quite a bit of $ - which I have to then fork out again to another vendor.

Like I said, I'm putting a little aside this week to get back into a routine with Jim. In the beginning I only used the SY guys in emergencies (like an order taking longer than usual to come from Jim); eventually I got used to the convenience of having it overnighted, a TN, etc. I can live without those as long as I see on here that things are going smoothly with Jim.

dsound - be the squeaky wheel. When things go wrong I email until it is fixed. I don't email every hour or anything, but twice a day yesterday - both of which were responded to and my order arrived.... best of luck!

Great to hear that most are getting what they need. I gotta be honest, I feel pretty confident about my order today. A might have hiccups but so does Amazon. Shit, I think A might have a better record with me than Amazon. All things considered, it's really pretty damn good.

Now lets see if Im this jovial tomorrow if/when it doesn't arrive tomorrow. lol. j/k

Great to hear! Anyone else receive today (Or recently)? Please let us know! Hopefully A is on her way to getting back on track... She is def one of the better ones on here (Or has been in the past)... and some times, when they get greedy and take on too many clients, shit can happen... although, there are many places where issues can arise, because the person you speak to through e-mail is usually different than the person picking up payment who is usually different than the one shipping the order(s) out... so keep that in mind too... but def keep us updated on anything recent!

Hey people. So I did finally get my shoes from miss A. Late and nothing extra but all there and undamaged which was good since recently things have been smashed. Anyway, I have to say to everyone that A has been awesome about 90% of the time so when she's off and things are late and there's no communication and bad excuses it just feels weird and unlike her. I feel like she may be on a vacation or something and her backup is running things. It just don't feel like sweet A no more. But certus will come through in the end even if you get frustrated and the orders aren't moving like we want. It's happened to me a few times.

Lesson here is what the veterans have been saying. DO NOT WAIT until your shoes are gone! Order new shoes in plenty of time so that in case there is an issue you're covered. Because there WILL be an issue at some point guaranteed no matter what and its out of our control and it sucks but that's the way of it.

I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
