CL-218,872 is a sedative and hypnotic drug used in scientific research. It has similar effects to sedative-hypnotic benzodiazepine drugs such as triazolam, but is structurally distinct and so is classed as a nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic.

CL-218,872 is a GABAA partial agonist which is selective for the α1 subtype.[3][4][5] It has a range of effects including sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant and amnestic actions, however the most prominent actions are sedation and amnesia, and CL-218,872 produces effects very similar to those of the hypnotic imidazopyridine derivative zolpidem in animal studies.
This product is intended for laboratory research purposes only and are not to be used for any other purposes.

It’s partial agonist across the 1-6 or just the 5 mainstream subunits? Also, partial at GABAAR1 subunit or it has more traditional affinity comparable to a-drugs? any antagonistic action that could boot out full agonist like diazepam but not be itself able to give effects at the subunit level, causing mucho distress if you’re a chronic full agonist user as if 2, 3 are outcompeting your Xanax but not producing the strong conformational and post synaptic molecular changes that bring that GABA in close for that anxiety relief - it’s gonna be just like a can of ambien-light that causes instant wash it and wd for that everyday user. Interesting and this is the way the research must go. Thanks!

It's like a zdrug hybrid personally I would stay away, Ive had my vendors offer it to me and I've said absolutely no thank you. I suggest you all do the same they label it as a benzo but it is not a benzo.

why do you recommend so strongly against this class? i'm not familiar with the reason z drugs are undesirable other than, i think, vague recall about intense nightmares and occasional sleep-walking and delirium associated with ambien.
