does constantly checking TN's, make the package "hot?"

I've been told this from some vendors... if you check the status of the parcel like 10x/day, it becomes hot or flagged. is there any truth to this?

from a documentation perspective, it makes sense and there could easily be a log... but practical terms does anyone care? it seems millions of ppl are always looking up their amazon purchases or anything else really anyway.

I doubt it. But I did read this one article where someone ordered an illegal drug from China (something like MDMA) and the courier thought the package was suspicious, so they were able to prove he ordered it because they tracked his IP when he was tracking the package. I think maybe the TN checking can only add to your troubles if your package is already found to contain something illegal. I'm not sure though.

I bet we would not be amazed to find out "they" know a lot more about American's activities, all of them, than they let on. Uncle S. knows we need to take a crap before we do. What this is, it's not priority right now.

I don't track my parcels as a rule but I may check if it's not turned up well after due date, ime tracking your parcel is counter productive and only frustrates you ....

Bliss....

This is sort of related. But I have a package that tracking says has been in customs for over 3 weeks. Should I assume it's lost & if so should I be worried about any repercussions? And yes I've been checking it daily--never thought that would be a problem.

yeah i agree with you.. I think this just isn't a priority for them right now.

It would seem almost impossible with the millions of parcels travelling around the country daily that they would know I checked my parcel's tn multiple times in a day.  It would also be very naive of me to think that it is not possible.  It just seems highly unlikely that private industry "brown shirts" would invest in technology that would allow them to see who was checking tn numbers.I realize that the technology is exists, and is probably not that expensive, but it is an additional cost. It would also probably take a fair amount of processing power if there were 500,000 people checking tracking numbers every second of the day.  It is a for profit business and they certainly do not care what is being shipped....just that someone paid to ship it and that it is not explosive.  I would imagine that the only reason for them to check on who was checking the numbers would be if they were asked or told to do so.  The less the shipping company knows the better...."I don't know whats in the parcel, I just got paid to deliver it"    However I am probably completely wrong and they are probably watching me type this through my webcam.

I think at the moment they have more important things to worry about than if I checked to see if my daughter's  American Girl doll is in transit and is going to be delivered on time.

And I totally agree....nothing annoys me more than seeing a package moving at a snails pace thru the system.  It is totally counterproductive.

@massm I completely forgot about that recent probe! I think that was probably a money grab by the Fed's as they are known to do on occasion......However it is probably wise to assume the worst and hope for the best!    My mind is definitely open and I totally agree with what you said.  It just seems almost impossible to keep track of everything getting shipped all over the world.  Almost like there is too much information for them to track stuff.   The probes don't seem to have affected their businesses much and the DOJ got their headlines and a nice little check out of it.

@massmI am not sure how to do the quote thing otherwise I would quote you!

As for it being a public service/safety issue...I do not recall any comments from the big shippers on how they are going to prevent the shipping of illicit items in the future.....Big Bro sure does like to spend money.....I believe there is a vacant 100 Million $$ Us Embassy in Iraq.....

My brother who is Ocd and an avid Amazon shopper would have black helicopter circling his house right now!!!  I totally agree with everything that you have stated....

I would be more than a little worried if my parcel was in customs for three weeks or over, but remember the time of year it is.That said I'd be perhaps expecting a L/L but please don't let this alarm you as many of us have had these things and you obviously don't go and pick it up when they say they have your package if you want to pick it up!!!.

If  you recieve the dreaded love letter just ignore it and send a copy to your source and hope for a re-ship and throw the original in the trash (nothing to see here!)

Bliss....

Thanks blissopifree 2.

I have been worried since this never happened before. I'm glad to hear that I'm not going to have someone at my door (my wife would kill me)--a letter I can deal with.

Unfortunately the source (ddship24) has apparently shut-up shop, closed their web site & ignored my emails, but I can live with that.

You should be fine as long as you arn,t importing thousands of pills?.(which you could,v as dds24 often delt in bulk)

Some of these (iops) packaging left a little to be disired and I've seen some get through a few yrs ago that I wouldn't have believed made it had I not seen it with my own eyes, (one was just wrapped up with string in a checked headscarf with the address stuck on a sticky backed label!?) OMG it even had yellow powder falling out of the bottom which was a free gratis gift of 500x5mg yellow Diaz UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I know people who have parcels stopped in customs for over 2000 pills and only got  L/L.No more than a letter was sent and no follow up,that said i suppose it's the schedule of med your importing ie dicyl-morphine v viagra ect...

Some say your adress might be "flagged" afterwards but I know some who have had the same addy used in a re-ship although most vendors insist on an alternative delivery  adress. For me that all ways made sense after a customs seizure......

Bliss.....

Well total # of pills is around 600 w 3 diff't meds. I upped my order to get free shipping, arrrrgh. The most problematic is some @avan, which I haven't used since I was prescribed it 30 years ago. So much for nostalgia. Well I've learned a lot from being here a few days & wish I knew about the place sooner. I'd give you another like but I'm limited for the day. Thanks again.

Back on topic, a seller I had ordered from around the time I joined here (they're not listed on the approved or blacklists so I'm guessing I shouldn't mention them by name) indicated that I should check tracking using  www.17track.net

I'm thinking that while USPS may report excessive checking that Web site, which seems to be Chinese in origin, probably doesn't.

Recently ive had some trouble with receiving ship packages after ordering over 50 successful from SL two packages just never arrived no LL nothing . have gotten through using USPS from other sites so I'm thinking somewhere between the shipper and me somebody's hands became a little sticky. And yesterday ups came to drop off a package and I noticed them outside so I came out they said that they couldn't find my package and it must have gone on another truck ,and I said no no it's been scanned on to this truck to it once it's delivered it is scanned when its loaded I insisted that it was in there and I would not leave until they checked and found it and after I said that they found it quite easily that is the second time us ups has tried to tell me the package was lost when they track it to the delivery hub n after they scan it out for delivery that means that that package was present to be scanned and loaded on that particular truck I went to the UPS hub when it was still legal to do what we do over online had words with the manager telling him that they were my medications and I need them very bad I said I wanted the driver drug tested I want full refund I said if it was scanned ,than it was in this facility and it was scaned on to that truck the next day about 8:45 a.m. a knock on the door if it was ups he gave me my package which was rolled up like a giant cigarette and rubber bands around it which has never been a normal packing procedure and proceeded to tell me that my package fell down this tiny little slot in the back of the UPS van that couldn't have actually happened he got caught I pulled his card and it was a joker.  we are paying for a service and putting our trust in that service therefore I should not have to worry if I find an actual legitimate sender if the shipper will not just take it for own personal vitamin deficiency. Rc chemicals are great because they are legal and most carriers don't know about rc's which are always posted not for human consumption I think you if all shippers did that that might help getting them through customs and reducing love letters. As far as your package sitting in customs for so long bite me I have had the same thing happen every once in awhile check the status and it will tell you if it's being held indefinitely. Could be simple snafu and after you have forgotten all about you get a supprise in the mail.  Or a letter saying a package was received containing such and such substance you may come and pick it up but without a prescription number da number I mean you will be charged so basically you s*** outta luck if it is not prescribed in legitimate do not try to pick it up or else they will be picking up a parcel or else they will be picking up a parcel. If you know. Someone trust worthy use there info if you plan to order again. Before they hate law I used to have about 15 to 20 aliases because only 3 people per household could order the amounts of vitamins I was receiving and I could track them I would meet ups at my house FedEx at my condo ups again at my next door neighbors house almost daily 180 xam X on each order and when they hate law passed all that changed next time I ordered from a site that had not been shut down they were fake not to mention the harassing phone calls for over a year after I stopped ordering awesome people named Matt or Tom with an Pakistani accent so glad to have found this place prices have gone up immensely unless you find a reliable serb, if more than a normal quantity is needed. Sorry if i rambled just wanted to let people know that illegitimate sender is not all you have to worry about. I hate that hate law

If customs reveals that theirs something that shouldn't be there inside they will use your tracking to find your IP. I'd recommend not tracking till when you believe it will arrive and never leave your email or phone number for updates.

If you're checking a number on the USPS site I imagine they might be willing and able to report IP addresses, but I think checking on one of these tracking services that are outside the US are unlikely to do so, like order tracking.ru or 17track. As it turns out I have another package that was sent with the wrong zip code, one already went back to sender so I'm trying to get the other delivered to the correct address and unfortunately that means I'm checking this tracking every 30" to see when it's arrived at the PO.

  2. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 lol I am actually surprised it is a real ID. I needed those documents because my license had been expired for over a year and I had to start all over. Nothing was in the system. It was a huge mess. I had no clue I was signing up for Real ID. They asked me for the exact same documents that I needed for a State ID Card.
  3. S @ soupson: bless your heart buddy. no sense of grammar or proper insults/jokes. you need this place in ways i can’t comprehend
  4. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Sweet Ol' Me asked about Real ID, Stoup. Are you responsive to emails ? LMAO
  5. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: I smell some Stoup. Is Stoup's on ?
  6. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda You win. I am lost. Thought you were surprised your license was a Real ID, now you say you provided those items.
  7. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda I was under the impression that you'd need all of the points to get a real ID . I'd check it's validity if you're gonna fly domestic any time soon, just to make sure. Not to tell you what to do, sorry -
  8. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 In my state to get a Real ID, I need SS card, Birth Certificate and two proofs of residency. Which I am positive I had to provide to get a new ID when it had been expired.
  9. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @Turbo259 advertising - putting in writing for example an negative action to show they are guilty prior to taking action.
  10. B @ bigblueallda: I haven't flown in an airplane in 20 years lol. Can't recall the last government building I have been in either. According to the symbol it tells me I should have on my ID to make it a Real ID I do have one in my state

  13. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda are you sure you have a Real ID ? I mean , they really want 6 points of proof and 1 for your addy and 1 for your SSN. Did you maybe get it done and forgot and flew out of the country or something ?
  14. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda are you sure you have a Real ID ? I mean , they really want 6 points of proof and 1 for your addy and 1 for your SSN. Did you maybe get it done and forgot and flew out of the country or something ?
  15. S @ soupson: did anyone ask about real id or is sweet ol jimmy just rambling
  16. T @ Turbo259: @drjimmy1964 what did you mean by advertise? not gettin the verbiage, DM works if anything, just didnt understand
  17. B @ bigblueallda: {Visit your local Driver Service Bureau with the necessary documents: original birth certificate, Social Security card, and two proofs of your state's residency. } I definitely provided this when I had to get a new ID when i let mine go expired too long maybe I unknowingly got one but I think it is pretty standard here.
  18. B @ bigblueallda: Well it was a state id renewal. Before that there was a mixup and I had lost my birth certficate and social security number. After a couple of weeks and finally getting several documents in order I was able to get a state ID. It had been expired previously for a little too long and they wanted all kinds of proof. It was a mess. But nah I looked up what to look for an my state's ID to see if it is a Real Id or not and my card as the symbol it is supposed to have. I'll take a closer look though
  19. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda are you sure you have a Real ID ? I mean , they really want 6 points of proof and 1 for your addy and 1 for your SSN. Did you maybe get it done and forgot and flew out of the country or something ?
  20. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Actually it says "Not For Real ID Purposes". That is my 2022 renewal of my 2018 picture ID. I am not due till 2026 and I am sure they will make me go in since my pic would be 8 years old - they used to make you go in in my state for aging when I was younger, then went paper - then back to picture ( I think 9/11 to blame for that ) but relaxed it.
