Energy From Pks---Which Ones?

I'm sorry to hear that @Meowtown I feel horrible I was in a car wreck but I'm fine now I just liked the way pain meds made me feel. I'm actually shy but they helped me overcome my shyness and other pain inside from things in the past that they made me numb. I definitely did abuse them. Reading your story and @RedGypsy and @Jools in Scotland and so many others makes me so sad for you people in pain and not medicated or undermedicated. It shouldn't be that way. It's horrible that people live in pain but animals are treated better, thanks for sharing your story. It always makes me know people better and I can have some kind of connection with you because now I know and understand the pain you are in. Your not coming here to get high like I've done a long time ago when I was in addiction. I wish more people wrote about why they ended up here. It has actually made me cry reading stories but it gives me so much gratitude everyday and empathy and understanding of others. Thanks again, my best wishes for you to feel better and be pain free one day.

I remember at one time there was a study - no, I mean a website that suggested oh,peeeyates for depression.  With controls, limited amounts, exercise etc. or something like that. Of course, that would never happen in today's climate in the US.

Wow.  I started that thread a long time ago and after spending significant time away from the board, funny to see it still going.

Now that I'm a little more, umm, seasoned when it comes to use, I figured out what it is I was looking for.  For whatever reason, when I hit my mid 20s my normal energy levels plummeted.  I had everything checked.  Full metabolic panel including testosterone, thyroid, vitamin deficiencies, you name it.  Then it was suggested to me that I was depressed.  Anti-Ds did nothing except make me sick to my stomach.  Also tried Adderall and that was just way to speedy and unpleasant.

Ironically enough, watching the DJ AM documentary made something click.  He very simply said "I don't feel good when I'm not on them....".  Which made a ton of sense.  It was never a high I was chasing after.  I just wanted to feel like I imagined a normal, healthy person should.

Without getting into any of my personal business, I will say that the study Trudy mentioned has a lot of merit in my eyes.  PKs never make me feel "high", I never get all noddy-doddy like the gross junkies that populate my city, I just feel "good".  I'm not advocating this approach for anyone else because I realize it can be playing with fire for a lot of people.  That said, it DOES work for me.
David Pearse @ his web site Abolishinist Project states " There is a significant minority of people who never feel completely well without opi@tes"...he explains the chemical relationship between thymus and release of hormones regulating our brain chemistry and how chronic pain may be relieved to a point w/ opi@tes but also physic emotion pain is relieved. He enjoys worldwide recognition for is research. Search the name David Pearse , British researcher/scientist/ author. He validates all I've felt for years. In my case opi@tes' ability to create a good feeling as the horrible pain goes out of my pain wracked body and soul is not a "side affect", it's the only thing that keeps me going. For any person or government to judge me, deny me relief from debilitating nerve & musculoskeletal pain from a progressing condition is barbaric.

People experiencing chronic pain have a right to expect reasonable well thought out care with all means available to medical science. Nobody needs to feel pain. Nobody should feel stigmatized for feeling pain and asking for help. We are heading into the brutal dark age of "You just have to live with it [pain]."

well no...we don't and it's not even an option.  I've read members experiences off being ridiculed by doc's, pharmacists and sometimes even loved ones who have no understanding of what we are going through because of their own pain threshold, metabolism, personal histories or preconceptions.  I've read about people dreaming of robbing pharmacies, or rehearsals of upcoming  conversations with doc's, etc. I have done these same things and more.

I am doing what I can for myself and DBGF has gone a long way to giving me hope in that. Knowing you are NOT ALONE...and being in an environment that supports your efforts w/out judgment is a wonderful thing. Persistent!

i noticed that sometimes when taken with energy drinks, i get that extra motivation ... but also when i have the cold and need a pk it helps with the slugglish feeling of a cold to get right up and still get certain things done . I only used Codiene, i have no experience in the higher end products, also aleve works for certain back pain i have , tylenols also when i have  cold/fever , pain from sports.

like for tension headaches , they use caffeine in it

My experience w/ kod€€n is it always gave me a great deal of energy. Not w/ other pks. I’ve often wondered if others had this reaction as well. Nice to know  Def_Starr!

@Nitetrain  Just wondering (in the time since this thread went comatose) If you have come across anyone else but the same, or even similar, reaction.  Sheer curiosity has had me start looking a little bit, And I have yet to find any random mention of this online...it’s usually the opposite- people who DON’T respond to kow dean....

No one has responded to this thread so I can’t give you anymore info. So sorry 😐

Good luck though. Not much substance to your query @Trudy L

  1. etizoman @ etizoman: God fucking dann. Just read the article. Definitely RIP to their normal lives ever again. Both C and R were Amazing people and have provided a lot of great times and some personal wisdom thru their products. And what @Wicked said, its true, man. Sucks you gotta kinda be paranoid when you reach a certain level of status....
  2. Wicked @ Wicked: I agree, it’s unfortunate and a loss for many of us, you’re right R was one of the best. Hopefully it serves as a reminder to others to always stay on top of things. I’m sure it’s easy to get comfortable and feel unstoppable when you reach a certain level as an author
  3. ms3031 @ ms3031: Its unfortunate for everyone but tbh, as with most things illegal, they eventually fall either by their own hand or LE, there are some rare success people but whose to say who is working with authorities and who is not. In fact thjs entire forum creates an easy access to the people they want just a much as we want them. Nothing can be done for those who fly too close to the sun.

  5. M @ Mammasboi123: Really sad regardless of the sloppy opsec.. ròć was one of the best vêñdòrs on this forum
