Favorite beer?

I know this thread is super old but I wanted to throw in my two cents anyway.... ha

I just recently started drinking beer and wine again after a long hiatus so I am learning how to truly appreciate the taste and flavors instead of pounding drinks to get drunk.

Now that it is in season, Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy absolutey rocks my world. If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor and go pick up a case. You won't regret it! :407_beer: cheers!

This is the famous Budweiser beer. We know of no other beer made by any other brewer which costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive beechwood aging produces a taste, a smoothness, and a drinkability you will find in no other beer at any price"

That phrase I memorized from many, many encounters with the label. I may have missed a jot or tittle, but I haven't seen that label nor had any beer at all in eight years. Diabetes got so bad that few things are as fun as they used to be.

Bud was a good go-to beer, but IPA, stout, red ale, Sam Adams (any type), Labatts Blue, Old Dead Drunk in the Ditch...ok, that last one doesn't exist, but after eight years they all sound damn good!

Goose Island,  An IPA

In fact been liking all IPA's

What's your favorite beer? I prefer a nice dry cider. Since my hubby works for a craft beer company I've become a beer snob. I used to never ever drink beer, jager was my drink of choice. Straight, no chaser, but water. However, my palate has widened and I'm not a fan of dark beers like stouts, but I'll try pale ales and lighter beers. (Going along with the topic things that annoy me, I'm procrastinating again!!!!)
Do I have to pick just one?lol, I like blue moon, many of the Sam adams beers, and occasionally a guiness. Sometimes I like a black and tan, its half guiness and have of another lighter beer. But for football sundays we start with champagne, we call it champagne sundays, lol.

Belgian Ales. Also love Shock Top and Leinenkugel Shandy from Minnesota.

Now I'm ready for a spliff and a cold one while watching  Planet 9 From Outer Space....ahhhh.

ZIMA -- who remembers this?  I absolutely loved ZIMA.  And, yes, it's considered beer!    I knew plenty of men who enjoyed the company of myself and a nice cold ZIMA.

Can't remember the name of it but it's jalapeño.  I don't even drink but it's so refreshing and has a bite that's just awesome!

Before I quit drinking I also enjoyed Shock Top. I had gotten really into craft beers when I was younger but in general it was way too expensive to drink a 30-pack of nice IPA's etc a day. Shock Top and Blue Moon were just starting to be sold at all the local bars and restaurants so I gave them a try. For the price I enjoyed them quite a lot.

I miss the days where I could have a beer or two.

God this is one thing I haven't been addicted to in my life but my favourite is pills beer get in the cheaper UK supermarket s so good price good buzz

  4. xenxra @ xenxra: yeah but isn't the password restricted to sponsors anyway? why not just make that section private like the other ones? or is "brand new members" inclusive of sponsored accounts that are newly registered?
  5. Gracie5 @ Gracie5: The password isn’t given automatically, at least by me. I don’t give it to brand new members.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: dm admin for password. i still don't really understand the purpose of the password section if it's just given out freely to anyone who is a sponsor.
  7. N @ Nebulon Kitty: I've recently donated to become an opal member, and posted in the thread after the donation. How do I go about actually getting the password to the members area and my Opal status.
