Favorite beer?

I know this thread is super old but I wanted to throw in my two cents anyway.... ha

I just recently started drinking beer and wine again after a long hiatus so I am learning how to truly appreciate the taste and flavors instead of pounding drinks to get drunk.

Now that it is in season, Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy absolutey rocks my world. If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor and go pick up a case. You won't regret it! :407_beer: cheers!

This is the famous Budweiser beer. We know of no other beer made by any other brewer which costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive beechwood aging produces a taste, a smoothness, and a drinkability you will find in no other beer at any price"

That phrase I memorized from many, many encounters with the label. I may have missed a jot or tittle, but I haven't seen that label nor had any beer at all in eight years. Diabetes got so bad that few things are as fun as they used to be.

Bud was a good go-to beer, but IPA, stout, red ale, Sam Adams (any type), Labatts Blue, Old Dead Drunk in the Ditch...ok, that last one doesn't exist, but after eight years they all sound damn good!

Goose Island,  An IPA

In fact been liking all IPA's

What's your favorite beer? I prefer a nice dry cider. Since my hubby works for a craft beer company I've become a beer snob. I used to never ever drink beer, jager was my drink of choice. Straight, no chaser, but water. However, my palate has widened and I'm not a fan of dark beers like stouts, but I'll try pale ales and lighter beers. (Going along with the topic things that annoy me, I'm procrastinating again!!!!)
Do I have to pick just one?lol, I like blue moon, many of the Sam adams beers, and occasionally a guiness. Sometimes I like a black and tan, its half guiness and have of another lighter beer. But for football sundays we start with champagne, we call it champagne sundays, lol.

Belgian Ales. Also love Shock Top and Leinenkugel Shandy from Minnesota.

Now I'm ready for a spliff and a cold one while watching  Planet 9 From Outer Space....ahhhh.

ZIMA -- who remembers this?  I absolutely loved ZIMA.  And, yes, it's considered beer!    I knew plenty of men who enjoyed the company of myself and a nice cold ZIMA.

Can't remember the name of it but it's jalapeño.  I don't even drink but it's so refreshing and has a bite that's just awesome!

Before I quit drinking I also enjoyed Shock Top. I had gotten really into craft beers when I was younger but in general it was way too expensive to drink a 30-pack of nice IPA's etc a day. Shock Top and Blue Moon were just starting to be sold at all the local bars and restaurants so I gave them a try. For the price I enjoyed them quite a lot.

I miss the days where I could have a beer or two.

God this is one thing I haven't been addicted to in my life but my favourite is pills beer get in the cheaper UK supermarket s so good price good buzz

  6. O @ ochemdim: Ah okay, no worries
  7. Clash283 @ Clash283: @ochemdim thank you sir! That's is true haven't heard from him though. 😕 All good wasn't why I posted what I posted.
  8. O @ ochemdim: I think @Clash283 is referencing a short conversation we had in the shoutbox a day or two ago about the pet prize that Mokachin0 generously offered. I told clash to reach out to Mokachin0, the person with the pet assistance offer.
  9. xenxra @ xenxra: lmao why did a mod delete my shoutbox post from yesterday? i can't talk about monero in here or what? is there some rule that you can't use the word "sale"? I don't know if staff here are aware but I do not own the monero supply. my posts in the past about buying the bitcoin lows weren't censored.
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @CalFresh qubic falsified their API data when they claimed to have 51% share and I don't think they can sustain an attack that costs on average $75,000,000/day forever.
  11. LW815 @ LW815: 124k? Maybe 125 tn?
  12. Clash283 @ Clash283: I'm not sure but it isn't anything for anyone else to worry about.
  13. CalFresh @ CalFresh: fuck Qubic! WTF? @xenxra what's your take
  14. LW815 @ LW815: Wait what? Not entirely sure we’re talking about the same thing anymore
  15. Clash283 @ Clash283: So, I guess I thought as it related to that it wouldn't be bad to just let him know what's going on in detail in dms. That's why I didn't even mention a subject. But I haven't been told otherwise, if that was the case the giveaway wouldn't exist.
  16. Clash283 @ Clash283: It was related to the shout box
  17. Clash283 @ Clash283: @LW815 ya, the award was given in the shout out box. I have reached out and he asked me to verify with admin....
  18. LW815 @ LW815: @Clash283 I probably should have myself instead of replying in the shoutbox but admins always been responsive to my DMs. I just saw a worrisome idea and can’t bring myself to not respond with HR info, though admittedly should have DMed the user instead. @Gracie5 may be available if @Admin isn’t though I can’t tag her in the shoutbox for some reason
  19. Clash283 @ Clash283: @Admin would mind reading my message regarding the shout box context?
  20. LW815 @ LW815: This probably isn’t a discussion for the shout box but in hopes to prevent something harmful from happening - volumetric solutions are the only truly safe way to ensure DIY jobs are properly, evenly mixed. Anything else short of proper equipment can and almost surely will result in inconsistency. Though I guess if you had the patience and means to properly weigh each individually that could also ensure proper measurement per thing you’re making
