How to Increase the Potency and Length of Duration of Alprazolam by 3 to 4x

Why do antihistamines cause increased AUC for Xanax, or how do they affect all the pharmacodynamics? That’s interesting.
First generation antihistamines reduce Histamine-GABA Cross Talk.

You won’t get the same beneficial response on benzo action from second generation antihistamines like citirizine.

Ah, that makes more sense, I’d heard acidification (juice) increases excretion of certain stimulants, weakening their potency.
It’s an enzyme in the skin that inhibits the cyps to potentiate said item, that’s why eating a grapefruit is going ti do nothing. Word of advice there are three major otc items that would inhibit the enzymes CYP3A4 and CYP2D6, the ones you would want to inhibit, these also increase one’ tolerance more than just taking more of said item. There are also inhibitors you may want to look at your medications to see if they are active for said item. Be safe, lesss is always more

CYP3A4 and CYP2D6, the ones you would want to inhibit
If you are looking to increase length of duration (AUC and Mconc) of your benzo, you want to inhibit CPY3A4, which breaks down the benzo.

If you are taking opeeates you want to inhibit CYP3A4 and promote CPY2D6.

CYP2D6 plays no role in clearing benzos, but if you are taking opeeates you do not want to inhibit CYP2D6.

Smoking will reduce (presumably all) benzodiazepines, according to findings in K-P/n research that suggests 50% reduced blood levels in cigarette smokers. Never heard anything about the coffee. Just causes some ph changes or is it enzymatic as well? Why do antihistamines cause increased AUC for Xanax, or how do they affect all the pharmacodynamics? That’s interesting.
Do you know if it’s something in tobacco specifically or is it the nicotine that does it so vaping exc could/would cause the same reduced benzo levels effect as cig smoking?

I remember hearing or reading something like that years ago that nicotine or tobacco (can’t remember which) can lessen the effects of benzos…never knew caffeine could also though…
How long from last cup of coffee? 4 hours, 8 hours? I never drink it past 4 pm. TY

if i had access to whatever, this is what i would use if i wanted to increase alp. Mainly the rest of the gaba system. gabapenteniods, one drink, small dose barbs. baclofen is great, as poster above stated. the effects on gaba-b really make baclofen stand out to me. maybe tiny g at peak.

if i was hard up i'd do stuff like cimetidine. intimately familiar with my whole ordered list of potentiators every time back in the PST days.

I wanted to share this information with the other members of the board who use x@n@x as a medication.

If you are running low on your x@n@x or want to increase its effectiveness without increasing your dosage, taking these medications along with it will increase 2mg of x@n@x into an effective dose between 6mg to 8mg.

Baclofen 20mg - Baclofen is a non-controlled medicine that is similar in structure to GABA. Your doctor should have no problem prescribing it to you.

Cimetidine (Tagamet) 200mg - Cimetidine is an OTC medicine for heartburn. It is a CYP3A4 liver enzyme inhibitor. The CYP3A4 enzyme is responsible for the clearance of x@n@x. So cimetidine inhibits the breakdown and clearance of x@n@x, which allows for a higher potency and duration of action.

Chlorphenimarine 4mg. Chlorphenimarine is an OTC antihistamine and extends the duration of action of x@n@x by about 5 hours.

When these three medications are taken along with your x@n@x they will increase the effective dose by about 3 to 4 times, and are extremely effective.

I hope this helps.
Any off chance Gabapentin / Neurontin would help do the trick? Or anything at all for that matter? My psychiatrist gives this med to me knowing that I’ve never had any effectiveness of the medication and most psych MD’s only use it when you cannot use a benzo due to addiction or allergy. Sorry that was a runoff

Prozac administered concurrently with it also increases the effects. Not saying people should take anti depressants if they don’t need them but if you’re already on one and have access to Prozac….

Kind of off subject....Anyone use Loraza*** in place of Alpraz for sleepiness? Looking for a change up. TY. Other ideas welcome.

I tried Lora, I woke up the next day with blurred vision the whole day. It never happened to me with alpra. Maybe it's just me?

  1. CnC5 @ CnC5: @LatsDoodis so who do you use now??? I heard adhd online is a good and easy place to get adderall! Please let me know who you go through! Thanks!
  2. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Pharmacies, too. I switched my psychiatrist and just went through a pill mill telehealth place for a half year, then it got popular and all major pharmacies stopped filling Rx stims for this company’s independent contractor-providers, regardless of any reason than they treated ADHD patients with stims and it was a lot of people. Independent medical judgment from clinicians licensed and following rules. I needed the treatment. Who cares how many patients use the company? They followed the rules.
  3. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: That’s wild. It should be medical judgment, not corporate fear of lawsuits. Go set that doc straight. You need to have pain controlled aggressively or not at all. Be consistent.

  8. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  9. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  10. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  11. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  12. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  13. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  15. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  16. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
