Hey guys im sure the slow/not getting orders has to due with Ebola

. I think the strike is the issue , but I think countries don't like seeing anything coming from there cause of What's happening. That's what bothers me. I feel like customs might look at it just cause its from there.

Update on industrial action

The Witspos, Tshwane Mail and Germiston mail-sorting centres are open and operational today. The SA Police has begun to apply a court interdict obtained by the SA Post Office which makes it illegal for Post Office employees to approach buildings or facilities of the Post Office. This has made it safe for working employees to come to work.
Police vehicles and specialised employees of the SA Post Office are patrolling areas which are frequented by vigilante groups of strikers. In Bloemfontein, eight striking workers have been arrested for intimidation of a Post Office employee. They will appear in court on 6 November.
Krugersdorp mail sorting centre, which was vandalised on 22 October, has been reopened and the SA Police are currently using security video footage to identify suspects.
The Robertsham post office was damaged yesterday by striking workers. Employees who work at Robertsham post office have received trauma counselling and the office will only reopen after repair work has been done.

ordered and shipped 9/29.....STILL waiting. starting to lose hope here

So if you take a few minutes and read back the last 4 or 5 pages of this thread you will see all letters, especially the ones mailed mid September to the end of September,are taking way longer then normal do to the postal strike. I had a 9/15 letter that didn't find its destination till 10/11, almost 30 days. We are all waiting and it does none of us any good to repeatedly here all the "lost hope" and the "losing confidence" posts. We all are in a bit of a bind but stay positive and then post when you receive so we can hear good news instead of constant negativity. If you look on ttm the letters being mailed in September are starting to arrive in a much quicker fashion, so its turning around and when you get your letter we'll be happy to see it! 

Trying to help not trying to lecture or sound like im being a dick. If you are losing hope or confidence then you are only making the long wait that much more agonizing.

No seizures mentioned at all.  Some 9/25's are making it but most seem lost.

I've had my ttm shopping cart loaded for a week now. I waiting for more positive feedback before I pull the trigger but things are looking up I guess - Oct 20th press feed- "WC POST OFFICE WORKERS RETURN" (hit up google news)

 

I read all of the forums and it seems that the orders going out by or after 10/10 have been making it in the usual time frame.  People ordering now are fine.  I only wished I had waited a couple of weeks before ordering so I wouldn't be stuck in the 9/25 batch!

Yep. Still waiting on my 9/29 order and I placed another on 10/24. It won't surprise me if I get my 10/24 first. I may get it this week coming if things are getting better. It used to take 5 to 9 days for me to get. So I have faith.

I am gonna try this one more time. Guys, this thread is hot. We need to refrain from duplicate and unnecessary posts right now. For example "still havent recieved from (insert date here)" or anything that does not deal directly with your receipt of an order and reporting same. The reason I am asking this is so clear information can be obtained from the thread, and it does not get confusing. This is just for the time being, because the thread is so hot. Posts over the last few weeks seem to indicate inconsistency in emailed/posted ship dates and post marks (i.e. actual ship dates). Speaking as a fairly frequent customer.......

I have no idea why my last post was called out as a bad post. My point was so this forum stops getting pointless post of ppl who just haven't received. Ttm forum has threads for areas and even mailing dates so that's a better place for ppl to look who are still waiting so they can get a better idea the timeframe of their mail instead of just posting here how they haven't received. Everyone knows by now lots of mail hasn't been received the only thing most ppl here care about at this point is shipping speeds when packages are received.
