I've been looking and reading about elsewhere, but nothing seems as safe. I guess it is all a gamble though.
Yes it's all a gamble. Just that some places have better odds of having a successful experience then other.

@dmax I quoted you in the the other TT discussion post and tagged you. I hope you don't mind.  If you rather it not be there, let me know.

To people stuck in a jam,  the email section has been a godsend for me. In fact,  I use it the most.

I appreciate that you need 30 posts of course to view it. ??

You only need the post count to post there, you can still view the threads.

I just received this email from ttm

We have just become aware that orders mailed between 22/Feb & 29/Feb  went missing on our end and as this is totally out of the ordinary and  not part of the risk you should have to bear, we will be reshipping  all of these orders as soon as possible. With Friday 25th and Monday  28th being public holidays, we will start reshipping next week and  will notify you as soon as your reship is in the mail. If you took the  insurance option on your original order, the insurance will still  apply to the reship we are doing on all orders mailed between 22nd and  29th Feb.Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience
Good news! Hopefully see some reviews soon.

I got same email is that only if you bought insurance?  It almost sounds like either way.  Probobly not though i emailed to find out.  Of course i did not and really when i think back something at the time said i should hsve on this one.

ttm has always been good to me. I have never not received an order. Some take longer than others. My personal policy is and will always be, the first order that I do not receive will be my last. I never place a new order until an existing order is received. For me, the time is usually less than 2 weeks. My current order is outstanding for more than 3 weeks, but I am hopeful it is not my first lost and last order with them.  Can someone tell me what an "L.L." is? Cheers!

You only need a certain amount of posts to post there, but I think they took that off during the ttm/ppe crisis , as I was allowed to post there with under 20 posts and made my first order from there. If it comes in as it should and quality is good I might make it my main source.

@erock92, an LL is a seizure letter from your home territory's friendly customs. Anyway, let's not all get excited yet, let's await receipt and reviews, and no more off topic chat thanks.

My order is usually on time like 2 weeks, but now its 15 days overdue. They seem like a good vendor but as much I want to spend on something, I would expect my order to arrive on time.

Have you read the last 3 or 4  pages?

Reships are for insured orders only! If you didn't opt for insurance you're out of luck.

all orders from the end of February to NOW without insurance are part of the of the buyers risk that they agreed to at checkout according to TTM.

there was a report of a March 8 received last Saturday. I had an order mailed March 8th to and have not received. I didn't buy insurance, when I emailed TTM they said its still early however if it's a no show NO RESHIP!

As long as you have insurance, yes but read their insurance policy.  Go to their website and click "insurance".  You don't need to log in.
No insurance no reship.... period

Lost stolen or seized

If you have insurance good luck receiveingredients nothing been delivered in 36days

As I read that email I would think insurance should not be required in this instance?

Key parts bolded: " We have just become aware that orders mailed between 22/Feb & 29/Feb  went missing on our end and as this is totally out of the ordinary and not part of the risk you should have to bear, we will be reshipping  all of these orders as soon as possible. "

Basically they are admitting the problem was at the source at their end, and as such not part of the risks all buyers are asked to accept (seizure or loss in transit).

I have not placed an order btw (will wait until deliveries are being posted again) but anyone with orders mailed during the dates they state (22nd to 29th Feb) should be entitled to and granted a reship, going by that email at least.

How about March 1 to 11 it's been 25 days ..30 days from then free reship?

not 1 package has shown since mailed February 19 the problem isn't solved it's to give some relief to the 30 days or Longer. How's a reship going to have any better chance getting through. Since SAPO Won't admits any problems.

I'm hoping you are correct, but then again who knows what's going on with sapo. I emailed ttm last night and asked if my 1/29 order would be elidgable for reship (I did not purchase insurance) and I received the same reply email. I'm not sure about this part "If you took the insurance option on your original order, the insurance will still apply to the reship we are doing on all orders mailed between 22nd and 29th Feb."  We will see.

I would recommend reading the latest of TTM. A lot of good points about the SAPO and no deliveries.

  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: Technically they were forced back to work the last time they went on strike in 2024, so this is the same strike for the same reasons in 2025.
  9. Alkazar @ Alkazar: I dont know how to direct reply to people on here. But the Canada Post strike will affect any mail coming from the US. It will be held at a facility until the striek is over. Mail that is being sent from CAD to the US will just not be picked up. It all has to be private delivery services now.

  17. LW815 @ LW815: @Alkazar would that effect snail mail arriving to the US from CA in any impactful way?
