My payment was declined because of overseas transaction. I just had to call the bank and tell them that i am making a purchase from here.... then they allowed it to go through. No issues here.
See, that's what drives me crazy. I called my bank expecting things to be easy. Like I'd just call up, tell them to ok the transaction and they would say "ok you can order now".
Instead, the girl on the phone logs into my account, looks at the transaction and says, "This isn't something we control. The place your'e ordering from has fraud strikes against them. If they get a certain number of strikes in 1 day your card is automatically blocked".
Then I ranted on and on about how they're not fraudulent, how I've used them dozens of times with no problems.
And she just says, "try waiting and placing the order at a different time of day" lol.
So now I have a pending order and I have this nagging feeling they will just decline it again. Which if they do, tbo, I may just cancel my entire account and find a new bank. If there's 1 thing I can't stand it's a bank that **I** have money in, telling ME how I can use my money.
I've already emailed TTM and asked if they will accept WU.
Then as a back up I ordered a NetSpend online.
But this is getting ridiculous. I know for a fact the DEA must read this site (they have nothing else better to do). They're most likely pressuring banks to blacklist TTM because they have no other method of shutting them down. They already weaseled their way into moneydot, getting them to block TTM's location (who else would have done that?). Now they're targeting real banks. They'll get Chase, Valley National, Wells Fargo, etc.... NetSpend.
In another few months I think they're going to be forced to use Western Union. And a lot of people may hate that, but I'd much rather prefer to pay the fees for WU then put up with all this bs with my bank, prepaid's, etc.
Anyway, I'll update when I get more info....
