This is my first time working with Jax and unfortunately I had the EXACT same thing happen to me this week. I just contacted Jax about it so waiting to hear back from him. I’m confident it will get corrected, but I too asked for the GeeAchBee mag and got frozen BeeDeeOwe instead…I have a TON of years with experience reading these particular mags and know with all certainty I have frozen solid BeeDeeOwe and not GeeAchBee …definitely agree with
@Mammasboi123 it’s important to keep other members informed if considering this read from this vendor at this time…will update once things get resolved.
I’m sorry this happened to you as well, and I’m beyond happy to hear you were able to quickly catch the mistake before reading the mag, which could’ve ended up with you waking up 2hrs later in a pool of your own vomit, if not worse…
The most concerning and frustrating part to me is that there was a clear lapse in communication between the manufacturer/distributor, the customer service rep or whoever is in charge of taking orders and fulfilling them from Jax’s team, and then finally us, the end customer.
The second that someone on Jax’s team learned about Ğ being OOS, the customer should’ve been notified and given clear options to either:
A) offer a replacement mag in the form
of BĎŐ (
before shipping it out)
B) offer a full refund so the customer could shop elsewhere in case they needed the mag ASAP.
C) offer to ship out the Ğ when it is restocked (it would’ve been perfectly good customer service to also send out BĎǑ at this point as well to hold the customer over, so long as the customer knew that that’s what was coming first before the Ğ).
Again, not trying to beat a dead horse here, but I think lessons like this can be turned into positive changes so long as people don’t let egos get in the way. Which, to Jax’s credit, he has not once seemed angry or short with me when I brought this to his attention. Comms have remained very professional through the entire time. I’ve also been in contact with him today, and he let me know he’d be getting my reship sent out ASAP.

For sure, I’ll update the thread when/if the correct books arrive (Jax has given me no doubts as of now that they wouldn’t arrive). Hopefully I’ll have an update to share with you in the next few days.
