Jewy's Angels - A Place For Classy Dames

Dorothy that quote was beautiful and so freaking true! When he open our hearts to love we don't know what will happen, it can be wonderful or have terrible consequences! I know from my first marriage who was a serial cheater with prostitutes, and I paid the price with cervical cancer and swore I would never fall in love again or tuts another man again, it took me two years for me to see how much I was missing out on putting all people in the same category. Now I'm happily remarried, most of the time! And my trust in others I slowly growing, I learned don't let one sour apple ruin your future happiness!

Well they haven't all arrived yet but I will soon as I get them (ordered online) plus a whole new nail polish wardrobe equaling about $50. Hubby said blue looked a bit silly on me.
Blue is so trendy right now. I have a shimmery green on. Ok so I just have it on one nail. Whatever. Details.

Well, Heavenlee, you can thank the Partridge Family for that great quote/song.  /default_wink.png  Although it does have a great meaning, despite where it originated from!  I am happy that you have been able to find love again and are past such painful times of your life.  Moving forward is so important - and I am so glad that you were able to do just that!

That's hilarious never would have thought I would quote the partridge family, who knew! But truer words cannot be spoken, and thank you for your kind words! I feel if you cannot forgive and live in a state of hatred you can't move forward! It took me two years to realize I was only hurting myself but it lifted a new beginning and happiness. And when I say forgive, I did, but I do still have some anger, but it was so freeing and opened up a new world to me!

I used to have EVERY Partridge family album on vinyl when I was a kid.  I had the HUGEST crush on Ruben Kinkaid if you can figure that one out.  LOL

Keep plucking those frickin hairs.  They sometimes get really thin if you do and sometimes they go away, but I have so many that don't and I'm always plucking.  I am a hairy red face, a freak of nature.

tria laser is now approved for face.

Also Bliss makes a fabulous wax in a cup for any stray hairs.

Geez I hate those friction stray hairs! I have one that appears out of nowhere on the underside of my chin! I swear I check every day, and one day it's not there the next morning it's frickin and inch long! WTF! I just wonder how many people talked to me the day before and was looking at it thinking to themselves "I wonder when she's going to shave that massive beard!" Tee hee! You were right to pluck that sucker! Pluck on girl!

That reminds me. Several years ago I went to a very prominent dermatologist here in the metro city. I think I started seeing him in my teens and went to him into my mid 20's. Anyway, his big thing for his women clients was exfoliation - by way of shaving. I did this for years. I think it has its benefits. I have great skin and people consistently place me 10-15 years younger than my actual age. The hair does not grow back darker, coarser or thicker. However, if you already have a few coarse hairs, pluck them first to avoid those hairs feeling stubbly ad they grow out.

I don't do it much anymore. But I'm not against it. I'm just experimenting with other exfoliation techniques like the Exfolimate. (So far, I like it!)

Has anybody tried that no-no thing? Seriously, cause if it actually works, I'd love to give it a workout on my face, and actually a couple other places. Shaving has really become something I just hate to accept as an almost daily part of life.
I have. Don't waste your money. It's crap.

  9. Alkazar @ Alkazar: Technically they were forced back to work the last time they went on strike in 2024, so this is the same strike for the same reasons in 2025.
  10. Alkazar @ Alkazar: I dont know how to direct reply to people on here. But the Canada Post strike will affect any mail coming from the US. It will be held at a facility until the striek is over. Mail that is being sent from CAD to the US will just not be picked up. It all has to be private delivery services now.
