Let's talk about SR-17018 -- Who's tried it?

Anyone here use SR to get off n€thad0n€?? Wonder what would be a good dose and how long id have to taper to get off 120 mg…once I tried tapering and went down 5 mg a week (no SR obviously) and it was tolerable but I stopped at 90 started psyching myself out wish I hadn’t stopped anyways went back up to 120.

Wanna come up with a dosing regiment/schedule to finally beat the liquid handcuffs. Anyone have any ideas on dosage and regiment exc appreciate it greatly. Also need to check out r/opi’s exc sure ppl on there have some insight.

No experience with d0ne, but with sr it seems that anything over 150mg is wasted, so id start there and see what kind of relief you get, then figure out how many hours it lasts. When you get more or less comfortable start experimenting with lower doses of sr drop by like 25mg at time and see how it feels.

No flavor, but it is hydrophobic AF, it doesn’t dissolve. Mixing it and taking it, you’d be scraping what got stuck to the glass.

Your best bet is to get empty capsules off Amazon, use a milligram medication measuring scale and then fill them. I also got a pill funnel so it’s easier to fill the capsules, not required but worth it. All available on Amazon and inexpensive.

Otherwise, you could swallow it straight— like I said it has next to no flavor but texturally since it doesn’t dissolve, it’s not my first choice.

I bought it for the same reason right when it appeared back on the market in April. I’ve been on 90mg of methadone for 13 months. I plan to start weaning down my methadone first and then when I feel like I’m low enough, I want to add SR in the mix. Legislation has changed and I’ve switched to a private clinic that takes my insurance finally because I never qualified for Medicaid. I’m being bumped to 2 week take homes next week and then after a month doing that my director is going to give me a month’s worth to take home. Once I feel like I have all those doses, I’m going to start my own taper. Eventually, I’ll get low enough and brave enough to try SR. Good luck to you, friend.

Aside from this thread, I've now read probably a couple dozen positive reports about SR from various sources. I'm thinking "Obviously there is something exciting going on here" because I don't doubt what people are saying, but I'm also skeptical. Or maybe 'skeptical' isn't the right word... it's more that I want to believe (like Fox Mulder) it so much, but I'm scared because it honestly sounds too good to be true. Literally.

If it works even 70% as well as some people suggest, I would do unspeakable things to get some (or, just, you know, pay some money for it). But being in Australia sucks because we don't have the options that Americans or Europeans have, and the only place I've seen so far that is willing to send down under won't sell less than five gr@hms. I'm very tempted but it's a personal security risk as well as a financial one.

If this shit really works as described, why isn't it being offered more broadly? It sounds like actual magic in p0wd3r form. People who've been chemically dependent on opioids for years and have tried to detox (or even just reduce daily dosing) know how hard it is. Years upon years of H, m0rph, fent, 'done, ock see, Suboxown, and others every single day just to get by - changes your whole physiological functionality. Even with so-called "comfort meds" and using bupren0rph1ine to taper it's still fucking hard to actually get to the finish line.

your location situation is unfortunate, however if I were you unless your on a tight budget might as well get at least 5. it'll be worth having the left overs for unforeseen events. and it truly does work like such a miracle that I plan to stock up a good bit extra just incase it suddenly becomes unavailable.

That's the danger, the Pharma sees it as a threat to profits and does some dirt to kill it. But wouldn't RC producers just go on making it?
