Let's talk about SR-17018 -- Who's tried it?

Anyone here use SR to get off n€thad0n€?? Wonder what would be a good dose and how long id have to taper to get off 120 mg…once I tried tapering and went down 5 mg a week (no SR obviously) and it was tolerable but I stopped at 90 started psyching myself out wish I hadn’t stopped anyways went back up to 120.

Wanna come up with a dosing regiment/schedule to finally beat the liquid handcuffs. Anyone have any ideas on dosage and regiment exc appreciate it greatly. Also need to check out r/opi’s exc sure ppl on there have some insight.

No experience with d0ne, but with sr it seems that anything over 150mg is wasted, so id start there and see what kind of relief you get, then figure out how many hours it lasts. When you get more or less comfortable start experimenting with lower doses of sr drop by like 25mg at time and see how it feels.

No flavor, but it is hydrophobic AF, it doesn’t dissolve. Mixing it and taking it, you’d be scraping what got stuck to the glass.

Your best bet is to get empty capsules off Amazon, use a milligram medication measuring scale and then fill them. I also got a pill funnel so it’s easier to fill the capsules, not required but worth it. All available on Amazon and inexpensive.

Otherwise, you could swallow it straight— like I said it has next to no flavor but texturally since it doesn’t dissolve, it’s not my first choice.

I bought it for the same reason right when it appeared back on the market in April. I’ve been on 90mg of methadone for 13 months. I plan to start weaning down my methadone first and then when I feel like I’m low enough, I want to add SR in the mix. Legislation has changed and I’ve switched to a private clinic that takes my insurance finally because I never qualified for Medicaid. I’m being bumped to 2 week take homes next week and then after a month doing that my director is going to give me a month’s worth to take home. Once I feel like I have all those doses, I’m going to start my own taper. Eventually, I’ll get low enough and brave enough to try SR. Good luck to you, friend.

Aside from this thread, I've now read probably a couple dozen positive reports about SR from various sources. I'm thinking "Obviously there is something exciting going on here" because I don't doubt what people are saying, but I'm also skeptical. Or maybe 'skeptical' isn't the right word... it's more that I want to believe (like Fox Mulder) it so much, but I'm scared because it honestly sounds too good to be true. Literally.

If it works even 70% as well as some people suggest, I would do unspeakable things to get some (or, just, you know, pay some money for it). But being in Australia sucks because we don't have the options that Americans or Europeans have, and the only place I've seen so far that is willing to send down under won't sell less than five gr@hms. I'm very tempted but it's a personal security risk as well as a financial one.

If this shit really works as described, why isn't it being offered more broadly? It sounds like actual magic in p0wd3r form. People who've been chemically dependent on opioids for years and have tried to detox (or even just reduce daily dosing) know how hard it is. Years upon years of H, m0rph, F, 'done, ock see, Suboxown, and others every single day just to get by - changes your whole physiological functionality. Even with so-called "comfort meds" and using bupren0rph1ine to taper it's still fucking hard to actually get to the finish line.

your location situation is unfortunate, however if I were you unless your on a tight budget might as well get at least 5. it'll be worth having the left overs for unforeseen events. and it truly does work like such a miracle that I plan to stock up a good bit extra just incase it suddenly becomes unavailable.

That's the danger, the Pharma sees it as a threat to profits and does some dirt to kill it. But wouldn't RC producers just go on making it?

I don’t think so. I had hoped so, but I think you have to stay off much longer than two or three weeks. I have used it twice and come off completely, but it did not lower my tolerance. I used it with the goal of lowering my tolerance, so that was a little disappointing.
One thing you could try is taking it with your DOC, and see if using that way helps decrease tolerance. I didn’t find any thing about that in the Google Docs or anything else that I read. I did read that as soon as you start using again your tolerance goes right back up, which mirrors my experience.

I've used it a couple of times when waiting on packs..it takes away all physical symptoms of opiate withdrawal. There's a "master doc" if you look around on reddit, kinda explains it all. Me personally I take 50-70mgs and that holds me about 10-12 hours. I should stress the way I've used it is not recommended. It's advised it should only be used when you're done for real because some people report inability to feel opiates at all after repeated use. This produces 0 euphoria or any positive effects besides keeping you well/not dope sick. AMA

The only tolerance lowering I got from it was not using my DOC for a cpl days. If using in conjunction with DOC you won't notice anything. So ime and imo the tolerance drop only comes from abstaining from opes

it helped me taper down a tonnnn just with a little over a week using it after spending basically $160 a week or more on 7oh. i’m still using some but not nearly what i was and im not having any of the withdrawal symptoms. i was lucky enough to find a vendor through reddit who didn’t scam me thankfully but ive seen some on here who have it also

i doubt that big pharma and those type industries would be happy about something that works as well as it’s been said to and did the me because it takes away money from the to keep people on things like subs and meth0don3

I have used SR and it's great. Completely takes away WDs. I was taking 200-300mgpd mgm-15 and tapered down to 30mgpd. Then I introduced SR and began tapering the mgm. Pretty painless really

I wanna try it for the same reason Gracie to lower tolerance versus get off my meth@d0n€ just yet as was curious as well if taking it side by side with usual dose everyday could lower tolerance. I believe it is as magical as everyone says for WD’s but am skeptical it would be effective in that manner that is taking side by side to lower T, but may give a try.

I wanted to bring this up to the community because it may possibly be (at least in my eyes) an almost perfect RC for what it does. If you're looking to get high off this RC, you may be trying to push this RC in a direction that it doesn't really excel at. If you are an opiate naive person, you may get something from this. Even if you have a somewhat decent tolerance, you may feel something there -- it isn't that you can't feel something from it -- it's just that there are plenty of other RCs out there like O-DSMT that are far better at giving you euphoria (if that's what you are seeking).

Now let's talk about where SR-17018 really excels -- stepping out of opiates in the most painless possible way while substantially reducing your tolerance quickly. This is a drug that can even handle zene levels of tolerance!

There is a lot of technical medical literature on SR out there via Google searches, but I'm curious if anyone in this community has successfully used it. Specifically:

1) Did you use it to step out of the opiate rabbit hole and was your use successful in this regard?

2) Did you use it to manage withdrawals while lowering tolerance? How did this work for you?

3) Did you use it for pain management as a drug that doesn't have respiratory depression (G protein-coupled receptor types -- GPCD) like many other opiates (β-arrestin recruitment types) out there?

4) Did you use it for once in a blue moon relaxation / slight euphoria while mainly choosing to keep your opiate tolerance at a very low level. (Weekend warrior, blue moon opiate usage, benzo alternative when life gets stressful, etc.)

1. Yes, it was used to step out of the rabbit hole for me. I started taking it while I was on Suboxone and I just stopped taking Suboxone. I took a scoop in the morning and one later in the afternoon for about three days and then just stopped taking the SR
2. There was no withdrawals.
3. I wasn’t using it for pain management because it was 13 years later I’ve taken Suboxone or buprenorphine after heroin years of years ago so I was on maintenance and this was a miracle for me. I just stepped right out of it.
