I have some medical humour. My best friend got both his legs amputated from the knee down after an ied. So the whole platoon chipped in and bought him the most expensive pair of boots we could find. 

Sounds horrible but it was the first time he laughed since it happened. There were 40 of us in the hospital room to capture the moment.
