Midtown Medical Group

Allow me to shed light on the matter. As I posted previously, Midtown, having been private for 15 years, requires either an existing customer referral, or, in the case of DBG members, is requiring board user names. If this what's meant by "intrusive", then please do not request a menu from this vendor, as they are not for you.

Once again, this was disclosed several days ago, and if this pattern of complaining about their security standards continues, they will have no qualms about ending the relationship with us. I have no personal interest either way, but rest assured that if my reputation is tarnished in this fashion, I will introduce no further private vendors to DBG.

Thank you...
Middle of the night and I have to go to work actually very soon so crabby..... wow, divulging your screen name... how intrusive.  They are not asking for your DNA.  Not for nothing but JB stuck his neck out to finally get these guys on board... another quality vendor that is our side based and those of quality are not many....HM... maybe 1 or 2 others, that's it.  Be respectful and provide what you are supposed to provide or stay on the porch and STFU..  Not that difficult and it is sooooo tiring to listen to the whiners.  Topix loves whiners.  Go there.  JB, I for one, thank you for bring this vendor on board and give my personal assurance that I will conduct myself with the utmost professionalism should they take me on as a customer.  S-

@DGSB0708 said it. All the Sy crap going on, I personally am looking forward to getting a look at this group. My gut tells me SY is played out, or at the very least in need of vast changes. I'll be dammed if I'll be risking any more time  $ & anxiety for a good while until things are straightened out. So asked for a menu, I'm sure I'll have one this weekend. I  think E-mail vendors are the future this has been mentioned way before I just said it..Thxs Opiated

I did say intrusive only because they asked me how I got their info..... They said if I was a DBG member that I'd have to tell them my screen name.  I don't blame them, nothing is safe these days but track record and history has some merit.  That being said, I gave them their request and I'm still waiting for the list.  Has everyone else received theirs?

Still haven't heard back initially, i am sure they are very busy catching up

So you had to tell them your screen name... so what? Why does that bother you? If you read the thread you'll see that EVERYONE has to do that, yet you're the only one bitching about it.

Jewy or Heisenberg sent email a few days ago, and another one that included my screen name after that.  For spam reasons can you PM me the extension of the email I should be looking for.  I don't think I have missed it yet and don't want to blow there email up either.

Will do, thanks H for getting back to me so quickly.  Have a good day sir.

Personally, I am very excited at the possibilities this new vendor affords us and I'm very grateful that Jewy (and anyone else who may have been involved in extending said trust) has entrusted this entire board with this information.  I personally see this as a huge leap of faith (I'm sure it would have been much easier to just keep this info in one's hip pocket and not even worry about sharing it) extended to us and IMHO we can repay this by conducting ourselves in a professional, thoughtful, civil manner (e.g.; not disclosing sensitive information, not bitching and moaning about every little perceived issue [intrusive, for crying out loud??], not blowing up inboxes [but I only sent 5 emails in the last 4 hours - it's not as bad as you're making it!!], not getting all neurotic and/or obsessing and posting about each and every minute that goes by between when an order has been placed and when it has arrived on one's front porch, etc.).  I'm not trying to be a prick here; I suppose I'm preaching common courtesy and common sense.

And could the timing have been any better??  This perhaps isn't the best place for this, so I'll keep it very brief, but who isn't damn sick and tired of the service model in parts south??  I mean, outstanding orders, partials orders, wrong orders, missing orders, requiring payment for overnight delivery on orders you know won't arrive for many, many days,  a complete lack of loyalty to those customers who have placed multiple orders and spent lots of money over the months/years in favor of catering to noobs, possible security issues - I could add to this list all morning.

Point is - I'm extending a huge "thank you" to Jewy for his willingness to entrust us with information about an organization that has been thoroughly vetted and has a proven track record of success.  I'm hoping that those of us considering using this organization will represent DBG in the best possible light via our actions and really, it seems very simple for anyone who has any concerns about any vendor:  simply don't use them.   For me, at least, Xmas came a little late but it's finally arrived - I can't wait to see a product list! /default_smile.png

Thank you for letting me go on a bit; hope everyone has a great weekend!

So, um, do you think that the DNA sample sent via semen was overkill then?  Hope they understand ;-)

LOL.  I'm sure they're overjoyed to receive your semen.  Did you use a vial or just place it directly in an envelope?? /default_wink.png

Nathan, hooter can't tell you that. Remember, no packaging details. /default_wink.png
Thanks for popping the bubble on my shit mood guys!  I needed that!!  Enjoy the weekend. S-

From what I'm told, Hooter's, um, well, a real "force of nature", so to speak, so no packaging was necessary. From the feedback I've received from the vendor, it was a "direct end to end submission", shall we say. Had anyone been standing in the way within a mile or so, they'd likely have lost an eye! /default_laugh.png

If I may, I have one question. How would they have any idea what your track record and history is unless you provide them your screen name? That's precisely the point of requiring it, so they CAN evaluate a member's track record and history. They're as professional a vendor as I've ever seen, but this guy isn't on their customer service staff.

Good things come to those who wait, and who do so quietly and respectfully.

A few days ago this option wasn't even on your table. Don't squander the bounty that has been laid before you, without your even asking for it.

If this or any vendor requires information from you that you find outside of your comfort level to provide, then you are quite free to move on to another option you find and that is more aligned with your values.

Just my thoughts, no obligation to consider them for review, should they prove to be of little or no value to you.

Peace,

Beranda

Amen & green arrows, Nat & Beranda! As usual, smart thinking, well articulated  /default_smile.png

As I understood Jewy's original post, this is an exclusive offer being made to DBG members only, so of course they would want your screen name. How else would they know you're not just some bozo who blundered into their territory & decided to hang out for a while?!

Also, as I interpreted the OP, they are not officially re-opened until Monday; it's just that their CS people were coming in a couple of days early to handle any possible overload...which I suspect might've been a tad more than they originally expected. Figure we are not the only people affected by the on-going SY debacle; I would be surprised if some of MM's regular clients did not also get caught short over the holidays and contacted them in a panic. One would hope they'd take care of long-standing, loyal customers before diving into the new money -- precisely one of our major complaints concerning nuestros otros amigos, if I've read threads correctly...

Thank you Blue!

  1. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  4. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  5. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  6. aBBazaBBa123 @ aBBazaBBa123: @rockychoc How do I contact you?
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  12. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
