Hello,

I am beginning this thread as a place to chronicle and discuss my experiences with long term use of PKs and the methods I will be employing to reduce tolerance without compromising on my relief of pain.

I won’t be able to officially begin this journal until all the pieces are in play, but I would like to open discussions here first.

my methods are going to include:

switching between different meds to make it more difficult for tolerance to grow to one specific med.

using ultra l0w d0se n@ltrėxone, pr0glumidé, mêm@ntine,  magnesium, @gmatine, dxm, and kêt@mine, along with any other tolerance attentuating substances.

I will continue research as time goes on and I expect this journal to evolve.

Input from other members is appreciated, sourcing of anything mentioned in this thread will be shared on a case by case basis.

Please keep any and all names of chēms unsearchable.  If you refrain from doing so, your post will be reported and I will request them to be deleted.  Thank you.

Ultr@ low d0se n@ltrex0ne, from here on referred to as uldn, and proglumide have arrived! Along conveniently with some 0cees.  My journey begins on the morrow!

600 mg cimetidine

200 mg pr0glumide

1.25mcg  naltrex0ne

Dosed concurrently.

20 mg 0c prepared for IR administration after 45 mins

Hi there! I will be following you to learn from your experiences. I am a PK ignorant and attempting to educate myself.  Thank you for the blog!

I'm not sure all you are including in your journaling, but I'll tell you what I'm interested in case you needed 2 cents, I have a few pennies!

  • How to keep tolerance tolerable....(this is the intent of the blog, right?)
  • What type of pain  (e.g., neuropathy, joint, arthritis, nerve,  bone, cancer,  general irritation of bad drivers on the highway, etc.)
  • What class of PK is helping you what type of pain (that is, I know what PK class something is intended for, but is that how it helps you?)
  • Do you feel synergistic effects for some combinations of (PK + POK) or (PK + non-pharm methods)?
Whatever you feel like writing will be helpful to me, either way. Thank you for the journal!

Thank yur @ABBY890 for your interest in my little experiment!

-the point is to find the lowest dose that works to elminate my chronic pain, or at least make it just an afterthought and not a controlling factor in my life. I am looking for what I believe I deserve as a human being, a pursuit of happiness unhampered by pain. And, then continue to keep this dose effective through various methods.

-My pain has been there more or less as long as my conscious memory has.  I don’t know the exact cause, but to sum it up im the shortest manner possible...

My scapula doesnt sit in the right place as there is a malformation on the socket of my shoulder.  This causes the muscles underneath the scapula to be very weak(nearly nonexistent), and the muscles above my shoulder all the way to my neck to pick up the slack of the weak muscles. This set up means that my shoulder is never sitting where it should be.

Long aswer short, I have both muscular and bone pain.  I know many other people have it worse, I do my best not to complain but with modern advancements I believe I should be allowed to use whatever means(so long as it doesn’t hurt others) at my disposal to make the best of life!

- I currently have a few 0cees, waiting on deehcee and codeign, along with some s0ma coming soon.

My recent intake prior to receiving some items was an increasingly unsustainable kr@t0m habit, d0se escalating from 4g a few times a day to 8-9 and smaller bits through the day, wreaking havoc on my guts(sooo much plant material and constipation).  To be fair, it is a very useful plants and I an advocate for its use. But, if anything is to be effective long term, it should be cycled and breaks needed.

More details on synergy as i experience it.

in the past I used dissociatives to manage pain a lot, but my girl doesn’t like me doing it at all infront of her(long story), so that part will be kept to the occasional at best.

Update:

100 prOglumide booster at lunch.  0c intranasal throughout day. Up to 60mgs total for the day, pain free but could have used less. There is a learning process here.

Very interesting Myalias,  I just responded to your PM and decided to read some of your posts and here I am.  We do have a few thing in common.....lol... I recently looked into ULDN..I ended up not pulling the trigger out of caution.   I was actually treated in what most perceive as a barbaric method in that in 1998 I kicked Her@in twice in  a hospital in New Orleans that used what they called "Rapid Detox"......but all they gave you was a small dose of phenob@rb...just one dose along with  a large dose of N@ltrexone.....the detox was intense to say the least.

Have plenty more to say but have to run. Currently also have been experimenting with various forms of tolerance reduction with both benzo's and opiates in mind. I have been doing pretty well avoiding Opiates but not completely.......Interesting that you have a scapular issue. I had mine worked on tonight.....weak scapular muscles coupled with tight pecs...not good

I am currently using mem@antine. m@gnsium, & Ket@mine for tolerance attenuation......I use Benz@'s & Lyr@ca for anxiety.......also discovered I liked Tramps which is very odd because back in my bigger Opi@te days I considered them to be complete garbage....I guess I turned into a responder over the last 20 years also I am now in a situation where I need responsible using not nodding completely out.....2 months ago I went the OCee route but damn that just felt too good. Haven't ordered any more.

Woke up around 430 with a bad headache, maybe ope hangover? Two drops of uldn seemed to quell the majority of it along with a quick puff of a canna 🖊.

I realize I am not being the most scientific yet, I am still waiting on some parts to come in before I start with a measure of consistency. For the moment, I am just getting familiar with some the pieces in play.  So far I will say, there is definite merit to uldn and pr0g, I am way more twised at work than expected.

The OCean usually keeps me wide awake and basically feels like a pain relieving stim, but today I’ve had the nods at my work desk for hours. Time seems to take forever.

I believe I forgot to mention earlier, I took three cold pills which added the synergy of 30mg dextromethorphan( I used to be a big dex fan back in days of old, now it just makes me fart a lot).  This could be adding to the sedation that I am currently annoyed by. At home it would be fine though. I have had 3 small cups of coffee and 60mg pseudoephedrine in vain attempts to open my lids past half mast.

uldn definitely works, 20 mg 0 sea kicking my ass. Very  hard to type. Continually need to re type.  No vals before bed and a reduction in dose needed.

Hello again,

another report

Today, 2 .125 mcg drop uldn early and then over time 200 mg tramadol.

Not sure how much the tramadol is helping but I am in a daze from receiving S0mas last night and eating three before bed(too many, woke up late and groggy).

Will report later on when the fog wears off.

After having lovely nearly completely pain free and energized days, several in a row, I have found going back to lesser relieving substitutes to be disappointing.

Today and yester I have been trying to rebalance after swimmin in lovely OCeans to riding the tr@m and quaffing the krat0m.

This AM, two drops of uldn were taken(2.5 mcg, a dose I have yet to exceed though research suggests I should try at some point).  I intended to wait at least 45 min but I had to hop on the tr@m something like 15-20 minutes after cus I was in pain.

Sometime later, 200 mg pr0glumide was consumed with some kr@tom

Was it my normal pain? Was it amplified by a cleansing of receptors? Time will offer more data.

I am still waiting on my DeeHSea, ordered roundabout a month ago, and was what this experiment was meant to be based around.  Hopefully this days mail brings relief. Certainly won’t be tomorrow for the mailman must go to Church.

I am off to the local herbery for some red veins. Overall I feel certain that my pain levels would be worse if not for my attempts to experiment with these tolerance attenuating substances.

I have also acquired some cats claw.

@myalias, very interesting. Did Tr@m work well for you in the past? I’m curious as to how one’s metabolism can affect efficacy. In other words, I’ve had testing that revealed how my liver metabolizes certain types of different classes of pharmaceuticals. That could affect results with different PK’s.

This is really helpful information to me - whether informal or formal journalling, it helps. A question, do you have any liver/kidney/gastro issues that make you choose one thing over another?

Regarding your comment that you realize there are other people that have worse chronic pain issues... I hear you, but I also feel that fact does not diminish your need (your right?) to be able to live a life that can be more tolerable.  I share the frustration of many people that there does not seem to be any real progress in medical research on effective chronic pain management pharmesutical or otherwise, leaving it to the patient to figure out their own path.  I could go on and on, and I talk too much, so I will stop. But anyhow...please keep up the journalling.

I am also interested in anyone who deals with nerve pain (fribro/neuropathy/ etc) and their journey toward pain relief, if anyone reading this wants to point me there too.

Thank you!

@Gracie5.... Can you PM me the name of that testing about metabolizing different pharm classes? This is very relevent to my research.

@Gracie5 I hadn’t extensive experience with tr@m in the past, as I respond poorly to ssris, but tr@m as an snri hasnt seemed to bother me. It is absolutely true that difference metabolic actions will pfoduce different results for people, but also it bein rather weak compare to 0xy should make it a rough transition in general.  I took what I read was the highest safe dose for tr@m yesterday, in conjunction with between 10-15 grams of red vein kratom a bunch of s0m@ and some c@nnabls. Overall I did alright, but it was certainly not a pain free day.

I awoke not round 330, dosed three drops for the first time of uldn and hope to get back to sleep and see how things work in a couple hours.

This morning 3 drops uldn

kr@toms somas and tr@ms to get me through the day.  Honestly still just waiting for a few things to line up so I can be more scientific about this.

Decided to try 3-4 drops at night in conjunction with sleep aids.

Will report tomorrow
