Unfortunately, out of the four pain management specialists that I've seen regarding my L4, L5, S1 injury, most have recommended epidural steroid injections. Dr Ann, just curious as to why you would refer to this as a severe DISC injury? I was always taught that there is a significant percentage of adults over the age of 30 to 35 that walk around with this injury unbeknownst to them. It's just that in all of my years in the medical field it has been one of the most commonly found injuries on an MRI, even if the patient is asymptomatic of lower back pain and has come in complaining of cervical pain. my experience has been that the first to acknowledge that they even have such an injury- unless it is a true herniation with impingement, rather than a simple protrusion w some degree of desiccation-have been those who are at a desk all day or truck drivers, etc. Since that is when, like a motor vehicles shocks, the most weight or pressure is being applied. Also, very refreshing to see a specialist here on the forum! Exciting to know that you will be able to answer so many of our questions.

I know sweetheart. But if it was a Severe disc injury they wouldnt have bothered with that hoop. Mine hurts too. Just hafta be thankful we dont have it worse.

One ?  is everyone having problems getting vikings  or rocks from another   country. I  am out a good chunk of money and get few answers; which up until this week were very clockwork like. I finally discovered the Starlite pharmacy, and while they don't have hard core stuff, there is other stuff for general, moderate pain that may help.  Prices are amazing, and this site has stellar reviews on here.  I am getting ready to place my first order in the next day or two.  I wouldn't buy anything from India, BTW.  I made six orders from five different sites (and none of them were listed anywhere online as blacklisted, so I thought I had done my research) and every single med was FAKE.  And the one site I sent Western Union money to for agreed upon order, then e-mailed me and demanded that I increase my order to $550.00 worth of products!  Of course, I requested a refund and flooded their e-mail with complaints, but that was about 6 weeks ago or more and I just know that money is gone for good...I did report them to IndiaMart, and they lost their privileges to advertise on that site, but that doesn't get my money back.  So good luck.  This forum has been really helpful to me, and I have gotten a lot of good advice.  Best of luck!

India mart is not exactly foolproof anyone can advertise there and there are many scam sites from india and pakistan,well at least the meds are mostly bunk or extremely weak especially the pks!.Even the benzos are mostly weak or pressed.There is one email only source that is based in India who is good but he seems to be concentrating on us2us options these days.I,m sure you know who I'm talking about as he is very popular on this forum?.....

No, I haven't located the supplier you speak of as yet, but I will keep reading.  Thank you for your feedback.  I seem to be making a lot of mistakes, not just on the ordering, but on the forum as well.  I planned to order from Starlite, but was told my state is too strict for shipping, so that turned out to be a dead end.  I am so upset--he came with such stellar reviews I knew I would get good stuff, and now I'm back where I started.  He also may not want to do a transaction with me because I have complained about the other sites, and he is leery of me.  So now I am looking for another source--I have seem good things about TTM, but they haven't approved me as a customer yet.  Very frustrating...Not sure what to do now.  I don't want hard core stuff, just a diet pill, a muscle relaxer, and something for insomnia.  I take quite a few prescription meds already, two are controlled, so MD does not want to add other medications without hospitalization...Just trying to save on doctor appointments and prescriptions.  It's good to discuss these issues with someone who understands, because my best friend and husband completely disapprove of this online ordering, so I have no outlet there.  I know everyone on here is just trying to do what I'm doing--trying to save some bucks and to feel better, so I hope to have some allies on here.  I appreciate the time you took to respond to me, I need all the advice I can get...Leigh Anne
