Nitrazepam - Not A Potent Sleep Aid?

Definitely agree with that.

As for op!es I have been luck to never enjoy that at ALL! In fact most times, the negatives far outweighed the positives.

Ok hope we didn't hijack this tread too much..

Hi. I'm.a.nurse.nitrzam.is.the non.generic form.of moggudonn

Usually 5mg. You will havehassle.geting it. Your gp will q,after telling you it is ad nauseum how.BIG BAD AND DANGEROUS

You will probably then get the hypnotic med zoppikklome.  They'll.yhen.tittqte u up to double zop dose. Instilling non trust. On.my unit wwe.oly.keep.tems nitsx have to.come from.hosp pharmacy.

Theywill start with 2.5 mg and against.not working, they may titrate up tomorrow 5 mg.

If they saw that it's need, not want.

I wud try either Lrazpam 1  mg  or 2.5  they are longer lasting.and help not to.not to.wake. Add.panc attack to yursmyptoms and if Dr is ok.mqu give a few 2 mg Spam.Look.at my thread.. Dont let your gp scare! It's.your life. Your house aand.if it works.tney must aqiuiesse to.ir request.

Any probsask.to talk.ro senior Dr.

Otherwise jumpin.here.x..

i may have to look into this , i am having difficulty sleeping and @mb13n , is not working like it used to, sometimes it is hit or miss. The odd part is if i take a muscle relaxor such as flexeril , i get good groggy sleep but at least its sleep ! I JUST WANT SLEEP

Nitraz@p@m will help but midaz0lam is far superior if it's a case of REALLY needing sleep Def_Star.I love mogadon and love it's euphoric effects,midaz0lam doesn't give you the euphoric feeling but it most definitely gives you a good night's sleep taken around 30mins before you hit the sack bro......

I'm an insomniac and I take V@l, X@n, and Kl@n - even doses, slightly average doses than the average consumer gets right off the bat. Granted, if I have a tolerance to it being on these medications for over 10 years. With that said, would Nit do any good for me at all even if I have a tolerance to the class of the medication?

Yeah it definitely will, its as strong as v@lium mg per mg from what I read, and from experience.

It depends on your tolerance. Val isn't as strong as Nitra. The point of Val is to feel nothing - to be in a content mood while controlling your panic or fears not to feel anything higher. If you're feeling drowsy you might be taking too much and I'd suggest taking a smaller dose until you feel normal again.

The point of Nitra is due to the fact it's a hypnotic substance it assists users with insomnia and various other things. Seeing it's in the benzo class it is indeed a controlled substance so if you're on any further benzos you may develop a high tolerance to Nitra. I wouldn't suggest taking Nitra during the day for every day activities for most people due to the fact of it's hypnotic features. There's better alternatives out there.

Seeing it's under the benzo class, it's one of the stronger sleep aids out there that have multiple properties - it helps you sleep, it helps lessen panic while waking up (I have that issue every single day), and the list goes on. So all in all, I would recommend Nitra to people that have trouble sleeping that also have anxiety issues.

Otherwise, if you're having anxiety issues that are:

1) Short bursts of panic that generally last 25-60 minutes (any level of panic) Xan would be a good choice seeing it kicks in fast but it doesn't stay in your system that long. So you can go on with your daily life after the peak starts to go down.

2) Consistent panic or bursts that occur throughout your day on a daily basis, I'd suggest KP or Val, however Val is more habit forming due to the fact you can start having heavy withdrawal symptoms after 7 days compared to KP which takes a longer period of time (if I recall correctly) to become habit forming.

I'd ask a healthcare professional about what might be best for you, just an opinion and work from there.

Remember, stay safe. I may not know you but I still care, I don't want to see anything happen to anyone on these forums.

Yes as it's a hypnotic benz which is meant for sleep rather than anxiety although it does help with that VII

Thank you, seeing that I'm recovering from a high benz addiction it should work perfectly to maintain a good sleep schedule.

It's strange that most doctors don't prescribe this medication though. It seems from what I've heard it would help with such a thing, but seeing it's a benz that might be why. However if the person is on benz's I don't see the harm in them trying.

Well, now that I think about it that would just increase your dependency with the benz class substances so I may of answered my own question there, I'm not sure. I know for a fact I've yet to hear about many doctors prescribing it to patients that suffer from bad insomnia.

Doctors stopped giving them out so much years ago and switched lots of people onto the "harmless" zopiclone, they handed them out like sweets and now your lucky to get a fortnight prescription for zop aswell!.

The last time I went to the doc for sleep related issues I was given a few a4 pages of paper with relaxation exercises!!!

How would I get info from this one Indian brand?
Intas Indian branded ones are quite good for the price modaman used to have them, but I think he is having problems getting them so easily as they have been re-scheduled there.Worth an ask though by email @Sleepy1971.....

The one I used was manufactured by SunPharma, called 'Nitrasun' if I remember right. They worked fine for me, can't speak for the Intas ones. I got them from Moda, but I'm not buying from him again, seems too rude. But, depending on where you are, there's a couple of other vetted and reliable e-mail vendors in the e-mail section.

He gave me a couple of exercise A4 sheets!.

The first consisted of yoga!

The sec was to do with a exercise sheet, when I say exercise I shld say (gentle) is a good description of the exercise (loosely).

3rd was a posture and stretches pamphlet!.Needles to sat I put it right in the bin!!.

Mosts doctors won't help  many people these days when it comes comes to bnzs, they are under strict instructions not to script any bnzs unless in extreme  circumstances and only for short periods. As my medical records show ive had drug problems I am allways unlikely to be given any.Once or twice a year I get a weeks worth to help sleep apart from that I try to source here which is getting harder all the time. There seems to be plenty of z0lp available but hardly  any good z0p!!.

Hm, this is all quite disappointing to read, I have a strip of the Cerson (Nipam) 5mg on the way as a gift from one of our good Eastern European friends, was hoping I'd find it effective for sleep, as I'd like to have something to use as an alternative to my (US prescribed generic) Tem@zep@m every now and then in order to maintain the Tem@zep@m's efficacy.  Ah well, I'll report back here with results when I've tried them.

It is effective, I'm sure it will help you. It's not 'knockout', it just eases you to sleep. The ones that knock you out are probably the worst ones to veer towards.

What doses were you thinking of? Just to warn you, when I take 20mg I get depressive and a bit suicidal, last time I took it I half smothered myself with a pillow. But then again I do have those tendencies. Yip!

But I guess it's something to be wary of.

I've never tried it, but have a huge benzo tolerance, so was thinking of starting with 10mg as a sleep aid.

I think that should be okay, with a tolerance as big as you say. It tends to come on quite quickly; within half an hour you get this sense of happy bliss. God, I love it, but it's like handling a wild animal, but I've kept my use to 1-2 times a week. With that level of tolerance, 10mg would work to get me to sleep, 20mg would be more...recreational, I guess, although I'm not a big fan of that word. The most recreational thing I seem to do is poo.

Like "handling a wild animal", you say?  "Happy bliss", you say?

What was it Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday said in Tombstone?  "I'm your huckleberry..."

Thanks for the helpful info @Smoka90 - Now, of course, I can't wait for those suckers to arrive.  I'll try 10mg an hour or so before bedtime when they arrive and let you know what that dosage does for me - It's a quality brand, so I have high hopes.  Thanks again!
