When you have genuine pain on a daily basis for long term desiese but can't stick too the meds Daily recommended allowance: what do you do?

When tapering to low dose won't do because of breakthrough pain yet staying at recommended allowance isn't possible through learnt addictive behaviours.

i hate this catch 22.

Anyone got a solution?

The docs will tell you to just take the meds as prescribed. Sounds simple, but it's virtually impossible some days. I guess my pain doc thinks he's got it solved by pretty much keeping me in pain all the time. It's not his pain, and it's not the D3@'s.

At least their way I tend to take my meds closer to the amount pr3scr!b3d, because I'm nowhere near to being pain-free, and I know that things will be horrible if the end of the pill bottle happens before the end of the month.

Hurt and wd, or stay on schedule. It's draconian and simple, but it isn't easy at all. That's why I'm on this forum.

I totally agree that it's virtually impossible to not run out of meds before it's time for a refill.  My PM doctor changed my script to 2 5mg oxys a day which is 60 a month.  Some days are worse than others so on those days I take more than 2.  The problem is if I tell them that 2 a day is not enough I'm afraid they will take them all away!  In my opinion pain management is a joke.

  4. Y @ Yaugae5121: @JustChiilin nahh his thread is no more. If you search the news with the full name of their old business and bust, you should be able to find a few articles about it tho. No good -_-
  5. JustChiilin @ JustChiilin: Just hearing of R.. Is there a thread or post of what happened?
  6. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: domestic p1ns are harder and harder to come by which sucks and when I find them, they're so expensive
  7. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: me too. sad to see and hear but honestly when R told me he was serving 6,000 people, I knew it was a matter of time
  8. C @ Charizard179: Still pisses me off, common folk need subscriptions for anxiety etc, while the “big dogs” at the top are obviously subscribed out of their minds on high energy shit
  9. C @ Charizard179: Domestic only for a while. Should be fine
  10. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: so anything I get coming to me from outside the country will be inspected regardless if it looks sus or not
  11. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: I've been flagged and sent a love letter a long time ago for an international shipment
  12. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: doubtful, unless international
  13. C @ Charizard179: Possibilities of getting red flagged etc
  14. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: right but you're fine
  15. C @ Charizard179: Small fish, 1 time subscriber…shit still sucks
  16. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: they want big fish
  17. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: Unless you're a big buyer they don't give a care
  18. L @ Lonertool: Everything is up in the air until we have definitive proof of C let not put that energy in the air! let all just do our part and chill out. Things will settle eventually RESPECT to everyone here of course the important thing is to make sure we all practice great OPSEC and support each other in this time.
