People We Have Lost To Aids

There were many I knew of and many I did not. So very sad, so many talented people.

One of my bosses died of Aids and when I lived in the SF area I often did the sponsored Aids Walk to raise money in his memory.

Oh gee Cat! That must have been really tough. Such a horrible disease. My boss was just the sweetest little old guy and was known as Mr Santa Claus in the town where I worked. I remember watching him wither away. Left a lasting impact on me and I can't imagine if he'd been my dad!

I've lost two close relatives to AIDS. First my grandpa in 1993. He was my favorite person in the world and it was horrifying but thankfully pretty quick. And then my uncle, his son, in 1996. It's such an evil disease. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Very sorry to hear that Beachiegirl. When I lived in SF, I used to do the Aids walk every year and try and raise a little $. It was heartwarming to see the thousands that turned out each year. It was a great event.

Drugbuyersguide Shoutbox
  1. shoutback @ shoutback: Coach will get Woolen straightened out.
  2. shoutback @ shoutback: Yessir but I think he may have matured and he is showing steadiness during crunch time. All you can ask of anyone. He has answered the call so far.
  3. M @ meepmoopmeep: Darnold sometimes does Darnold things but otherwise a skilled QB
  4. M @ meepmoopmeep: @shoutback he seriously needs to be benched for being a jackass who almost cost the seahawks the game
  5. shoutback @ shoutback: @meepmoopmeep that Woolen situation was atrocious
  6. shoutback @ shoutback: 2018 draft
  7. shoutback @ shoutback: At least football is something we all can agree on. I'm happy for Darnold. Crazy to think he is the 1st of that 2018 to make it to the SB
  8. shoutback @ shoutback: Squack Squack mfers lol j/k but yeah go fucking Seahawks!
  9. M @ meepmoopmeep: sad that the rams aren’t advancing but saw it coming from a mile away. go seahawks!
  10. shoutback @ shoutback: GO HAWKS!
  11. L @ Layne_Cobain: Stidham played well enuff to win until that late pick that ended it ;( hate the pats hope Sammy and the Seahawks can handle em that defense is fierce but the offense isn’t as explosive as the rams and obviously he ain’t the caliber of Matthew stafford but anyways, go Hawks!!!
  12. M @ meepmoopmeep: But the hawks played better and earned their SB spot
  13. M @ meepmoopmeep: Riq Woolen being an absolute clown and handing the rams a TD for unsportsmanlike behavior at the sidelines
  14. shoutback @ shoutback: What about them HAWKS!
  15. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: Come on Stidham!
  16. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: Now that's interesting...
  17. L @ Layne_Cobain: McCarthy to the yinzers
  18. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: *offensive line
  19. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: I'm very happy with it. He was in our building for a few years, followed Mike MacDonald path and let's fucking do it! Pass rush has been our biggest issue besides online.
  20. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: He's basically a younger harbaugh lol
