I just received a phone call from someone claiming to represent a "group" that went under last summer.

I didn't have time to get into details with them because I was working but got a call back number.

The voice sounded Indian which scares me sure to a previous scam, but I do know this organization still exists in some capacity.

Can someone who may be more on the know reply here or pm me to see if o can verify this company, if so, this would be a very happy day for me.

This sounds cryptic. Mysterious phone message from ghost vendor whose business is back from the grave.... i'm intrigued...

Lol, the cryptic bit is only because I know those who they still serve are under strict non-disclosure orders.

I know they never totally disappeared but I missed the boat when they changed the way they operate.

No website it was a phone call and they said the site is still down. Just have a call back number and it's a us number.

Yeah, they keep calling me and they are spoofed numbers. The outfit is in the UK and they just buy USA based Watts lines.

How do they get your number? Was it something you had to have registered before?

"get tae fuck "

Classic begbie, johnnog!!! I just don't answer any unknown, foreign, withheld numbers anyway.

I never had the pleasure of ordering from them though have read a lot about them.

Yeah, I just block unknowns etc. Easier than hanging up.

To close the loop, it was the company I thought it was but there was no site invite. They just wanted me to order over the phone.

Yeah I found closure, and got a secret handshake to a new site that's already come through once, thanks.

Yea I get calls every few months from an Indian sounding guy that tells me my refill is ready to be shipped and should he use the same CC as before! Have no clue who the hell it is! Told him I have no idea what he's talking about and never ordered anything from him!

Yes, I get these calls too. I have never ordered via any IOP and its always interesting how they dial for dollars!

I wonder what their hit rate is? I suppose there are people who believe they hit the motherlode!

I actually got a phone call last week from some One wanting to sell me modifinil. It has two and a half years since I purchased that stuff online. They are some persistent little parasites aren't they? Asked them to remove me from their list. Bet they did that right way. Right.

i get those kind of calls all the time because i did once order some tramadol on line and some zithromax, over 7 years ago.. they still have all my info, and yes they are relentless bastards.

Heh, it is pretty amazing how resilient they can be with their call lists, and the little buggers won't take no for an answer if you actually try to talk to them.

The one that made me start this thread was very different than the normal Indian Viagra call though, those are a some a dozen and the reason any area code I don't recognize goes straight to voice mail.

I have no voice mail HA! It pisses people off but.. if ya NEED to reach me you can text me. Some jagoff did 2 days ago.. strange Fla #, asked "do you need stuff?" I replied IDK "insert a name here" do you? 5am he replies "Whose that, why you call me him" I replied "you text me askin if I need stuff, so I call you Dave(I use many names) IDK who you are, but now to me you are Dave!" they NEVER bother me again after that.. at one point the texts were relentless like 6-7/day.. I could NOT figure out where my # was given but I do know now.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: yeah but isn't the password restricted to sponsors anyway? why not just make that section private like the other ones? or is "brand new members" inclusive of sponsored accounts that are newly registered?
  2. Gracie5 @ Gracie5: The password isn’t given automatically, at least by me. I don’t give it to brand new members.
  3. xenxra @ xenxra: dm admin for password. i still don't really understand the purpose of the password section if it's just given out freely to anyone who is a sponsor.
  4. N @ Nebulon Kitty: I've recently donated to become an opal member, and posted in the thread after the donation. How do I go about actually getting the password to the members area and my Opal status.

  16. xenxra @ xenxra: @Steviejay88 if there's one major takeaway i've gained from all the indictments against onion farmers it's that you should never rely on server-side encryption for these kinds of things. please refer to hansa as a case example.
  17. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 absolutely my man, good question

  20. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 so as not to stir any pots, I'm not an expert on this particular forum software however I know natively it doesn't. that doesn't mean a plug-in wasn't used of some sort, if it's even possible. check out the dev console in your browser and poke around now you've got me curious
