I have emailed him for confirmation that he received payment and he has yet to email me back. But, I guess, that's his M.O. It would be nice to have some sort of response!

He did! I now definitely understand how he operates. Order going out tomorrow. Will update when received.
Nice! Glad to hear that Lucy. Looking forward to your update upon arrival.

When ploop runs out of a certain item how would we know when he has restocked it? I know he doesn't like emails so how would you know before ordering? This question is for veteran ploop customers. Thanks folks.

I've been trying to get ahold of ploop the past couple of days for an updated list, but haven't heard anything. I have done business with this vendor several times, yet I haven't heard anything back. I usually get a response from him, regarding a list, very quickly.

Hope I didn't offend ploop in any such way. Can't think of anything. I guess we'll just see what happens.

@ralph3233 - he sends me a new list from time to time without prompting.   I don't know if he does that with everyone, but that's how I find out what's in stock.

I like the avatar packrat. Walking Dead's on this weekend. Great show.

I wish he would do that with me, knowing he hates receiving email. The only way for me to find out is to email him and I hate to bother him, because I know he's busy. He's always been good on his orders though. I'm about 8 for 8 with him.

Hi @Dkaramazov,

Thanks - it's one of my favorites.   Now that Breaking Bad is over  /default_sad.png .

Anyway, I'd just send him a one-liner, "Hi, could you send an updated list?  Thanks" and don't spam him.  He's either gonna send it or not, but don't repeat the request.

Once you get it just put all your info in one email, including your Mpk number.   That's how he likes it and before you know it ... it arrives.

Regards,

PR

He replied to me with list yesterday then I asked for something that I had got last time that wasn't on the list and he didn't reply. So idk

He emailed me and said responses would be very slow this weekend and would resume normally after monday.

Thanks for the heads-up gdx. I'm sure he gets inundated with emails and people do have a life of there own, so it's completely understandable. Like I saidpreviously, he has always been accomadating in regards to the several orders I've placed.

Hi All,

I just had a PM with someone who said they placed an order yesterday, received a response yesterday that the order would go out today, so based on that I believe he's around doing something.

IMO, it looks like P likes to keep his operation small and tight and I may be wrong, but I don't recall seeing any posts about non-receipt of goods.

I've been pondering, thinking and empathizing and if you look at what goes into an email order business process between keeping people updated with inventory, pricing and product changes, responding to inquiries and the percentage of inquiries that turn into orders vs those that don't, taking the orders and fulfilling, then sending TN's for those who insist on it and keeping track of who is who and where they are in the process, a small email operation's email volume can grow exponentially quickly.

Based on what I've read and IME, he gives priority to fulfillment over communications.  IMO, unlike SL and "Jim," where I think (just a guess) there is more than one person handling email, I think P handles it all himself.  I know this can quickly get out of control once a vendor gets into a catch-22 where they are behind in orders and communications, which generates more email inquiries about status which have to be answered, so orders get further delayed, where, especially where a customer pays for expedited processing/shipping this can become a serious problem.

Some vendors have communications down to a science (no names, but I can think of at least one in the SY section) and others' reputation appear to suffer simply because they don't answer (I'm thinking of one also in the SY section) and in both SY cases and P, honesty, integrity and product quality are all not the issue IME and from what I've read.

Maybe he wants to take the weekend off and just take a Ploop.

I am thinking of ordering this week and I'll do it in three steps:

1. Confirm inventory and price (I have a current list already) - 1 email to P

2. Response - 1 email from P (which may include updated list)

3. Place order - I include all info in the final email to order  including pmnt and any special instructions.

I believe that if we follow this three step process, P will have fewer emails to respond to and get caught up and we will have a quality "trained" vendor, and we, too will be well versed in the way to get the best out of Ploop.

I hope this makes sense to someone.

Regards to All,

PR

Hi @Ralph3233,

I'm sorry, I didn't catch this post and I don't think anyone else addressed your specific question about "certain items."

IMO there is no magic to this unless the vendor is a large shop and maintains a database of which customers are waiting for new stock of specific items.

I will say this, though:  A coupla months back when I placed an order I ALSO specifically said that I was looking for a specific item he carries but was out of stock and that I would wait for him to tell me when he gets it so I can order it.   Now, I know this is a bit sticky because you may not want to commit to waiting, but in my case he sent me a separate email (not just the "Hey" list email to tell me when he got them in and how many he had.  As it turned out I had made other arrangements for my acute requirement but did order a few from him because of the kind of relationship I want to maintain with P.

As I said in an earlier post, if you don't automatically get a new "Hey" list from him I would get him used to the idea that you will ask for a new list every month, "Hi - could you send me an updated list?  I'd like to place an order  Thanks - "  He'll either answer you or he won't, but either way he'll get used to receiving the email from you on schedule.  From there you may be able to extrapolate rough guidelines for how often certain items are replenished.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

PR

Good morning, all.  Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.  I rec'd the order I placed on the 8th yesterday but wasn't around so didn't see it until this morning.  All accounted for and there was a couple extra of one product.  Sampled that product (Ritti's) and they are spot on.  The other, 512 look right, others have said they are right, I have zero reason to believe they won't be right.  So unless something were to be amiss with them (which I highly doubt) I won't post about them... take it as they are good.  He did not send a delivery confirmation number but those things are not a concern for me.  This was my first order with P.  So I would say 8/10 on communication 10/10 turnaround time of delivery and 10/10 on quality of product.  2 Ritt's were slightly broken, but not dust or anything.... just a few chunks off the 2.  I was able to basically match which chunk went to which Ritti like a puzzle.  Great first run with P.  Have a good one.  S-

I tried the rit a few times, the first couple orders I received of them were blistered brand-name. The last one's I received were some kind of generic, but were equal to the brand in my opinion. I was a little nervous at first because I wasn't sure I received the right product and didn't want to take something that I wasn't sure of. That being said, ploop set my mind at ease and they ended up being great.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.

  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra

  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
