I hope I didn't start a new thread by I could only find pet health problems! This is my favorite cat I have 4 and I love them all but she's a lapcat! Always wants to sleep on me and sleeps on top of my pillow at night. The others are funny in their own ways but not into being held or pet. I think because they are all feral cats that my son sneaked in and hid in the basement where his bedroom is. I don't even think I knew I owned them for a few months! But they have all grown on me and have all been taken to the vet. The last one orange cat because I'm so original with names has costs me a fortune! He had a tumor in his head behind his ear. That's the one they gave Suboxone to and he loved it! Anyways her she is, her name is Sophie Cat!

Here's my terrible son who I will miss dearly when he leaves for college in two weeks. His dad went to prison when he was a baby. I got remarried when he was 9 but unfortunately he has been a stellar son (credit @sociopathicbombshell) for the use of stellar! We had role reversals where he took care of me during my struggles with heroin addiction. But he loves me and always says he will give me all the chances in the world. And yes, he gave me permission to post. He's 18 now and too wise for his years! Now his hair is purple. Just like his mom when I was his age. I think I went through every color of manic panic!

I think we did have an old pet pictures thread, but you can never have too many cute animal pics in my book.

I love seeing everyone's pets!

They are adorable! So you have two adorable doggies? And is that your hubby with them? So jealous I want another dog! When our dog Axel had to be put down my husband has been so devastated that he said it was as bad as losing his dad! I'm not into waiting anymore after seeing your dogs! As soon as I get moved and settled I am getting a dog as soon as possible! I just hope my cats will make his or her life bearable! Is that where you live on a lake? Those pictures are beautiful!

@HeavenleeThank you! Yes, my 2 silly dogs who swim in the lake all day long, once the New England winter ice receeds?? built our home years ago when kids were all young- a very special place with the feel of being out in the woods on a lake with no motors allowed but an easy commute to Boston- now my children and their young families visit- and totally wipe us out with their energy leveks?

Fitst time we have had 2 dogs together and although much more work, they really do play hard and provide company- we aren't away from them often - important, as we are their entire lives and dogs do get terribly lonely! Long walks and runs daily, hiking in White Mountains of NH with my husband about twice a month.

I have some better dog pics which won't upload- a mystery to be solved!

your kitty is adorable!  We have had many lovely cats over the years?

@schrelaI would love to see the house. It is your own beautiful oasis! It's absolutely gorgeous! I've never made it up to Boston but my friend who went to law school with president Obama, I swear she has pictures with him lives up there working on changing laws to get people out of prison for drug law change reform loves it! Instead of making her visit me all the time next time I'll get up there. I had no idea how beautiful the surrounding area was! I feel like an idiot but I didn't even know about the white mountains being from the west. But I googled them and they are gorgeous! Very lucky lady!

I love for dogs to have brothers or sisters to keep company with. Just seems healthier for them. Maybe this stems from being an only child myself lol.

@schrela What an amazing place that lake must be to live. The pictures that were taken at twilight seem really peaceful.  Would love to live somewhere with that on my doorstep. I'd be out fishing all the time on my boat if I had one.

@ConceitedThanks- it is a wonderful place  to live- we worked really hard to build our post and beam 25 years ago but have enjoyed  living in such a special spot every minute- maybe not the years we have 5 feet of snow- though my Goldens love it!! Cross country skiing and skating make the winter beautiful and peaceful also- lots of ice fishermen / women once deep enough!!  Jaz, our flat coated retriever just started "fishing" for hours,  chasing the variety of shallows fish- occasionally she dunks and catches one- one wiggle and she has to bark to tell me and it's free?

Picked and froze gallons of wild high bush blueberries which grow all around the lake-

This is a fun, heRt warming thread! @Heavenlee

@Marshmallowmayhem I don't have any likes left so I had to tell you he is a Casanova compared to my beast of a cat. Mine was feral and taken to the vet, he's 16 pounds I just don't know he got so fat being a feral cat! I have to admit your orange cat is better looking than my fat orange cat. But like you said the cheerio circle of trust, mine has let me in completely. I always wanted a lap cat because the other cats of mine will scratch you just when I pick them up! For a fat feral cat with half an ear missing he isn't much of looker like yours but he's the sweetest cat in the world! But honestly your cat is a beauty! Don't tell my cat though!

Awe, I have every cat, an orange, gray, and white. I always wanted a striped cat. She/he looks furry too! Is it a boy or girl and does it have longer hair? It is a beautiful cat! If my son saw it he'd fall in love too! Our old cat looked just like yours @KeyPill and like ten years ago we never let our animals go out during Halloween and Fourth of July because there are sick people out there, anyways my cat escaped during the no outside zone of Fourth of July and just vanished. I'm still heartsick about it today! Your cat looks very sleepy and content= happy cat! Also I see this is your first post, welcome to the board and glad you posted to let us get to know you. You could maybe go to introductions if you like so everyone can say hello. We are like a big family here! Sorry I am out of likes but I would have given your Beauty one for sure!

I got Axel from a retail pet store that had an adoption day. That was about three and a half years ago when he was a kitten. When I moved back in with my parents, it took him well over 8 months to allow my dad in his little circle. Mom not so much lol. Of course, this was after my dad used treats to bribe the crap out of him. Thank goodness for people like you. Amazing of you to rescue your ginger beast from the elements. Axel weighs ten pounds. He's an active micro tiger.

Only a few pics uploaded but here are Loki - English Golden 2yo, and recently rescued Jaz, 1 yo flat coated retriever- my constant companions❤️?View attachment 1395

yeh that truly is an amazing view. breath taking the  :608_camera_with_flash:  and  :439_fishing_pole_and_fish: 's would be out 24/7 i think. very lucky, i bet the dog loves it too. i know my pupp would, my older boy always panics for a few secs rendering me to panic an end up fishing him out, soaking me in the process lol. i think if i wasnt so anxious id leave him for a few more seconds to get his footings so to speak. but no soon as his head goes under im in ( an i cant bloody swim btw lol) my partner finding this highly amusing obviously rather than help  :4_joy: :4_joy: .. im trying to download a good pic of both mine together to put in here. hopefully get one on in an hour or so.. cool to everyones pets makes the forum more fun little things like this..

  16. xenxra @ xenxra: @hiTillidie i basically gave them a report showing them where they could seize coins from but they decided to do their own tracing and just pointed out the areas that weren't recoverable even though it was already emphasized in the report i gave themm. i bet if i lost 10x as much they would have gotten it back.
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @SeaDonkey you're probably not wrong
  18. xenxra @ xenxra: @Moonkey you're fine, i've learned to live with it at this point. it's not the worst spot to start scaling into a position here imo - just don't sell the house yet.
  19. SeaDonkey @ SeaDonkey: Ugh I wish I was in a position to gamble some muns, I personally think there's a huge potential in the dip right now
  20. M @ Moonkey: Oh jeez @xenra I apologize for asking advice after your post about the loss! I didn't look down far enough, just saw the comment about the dip. That's messed up that happened to you man, my heart goes out to you! Didn't mean to sound like a selfish arse asking for advice after you just shared that
