My name is Kevin, and my cat is a boy, Miles. He is one lucky cat, because someone left him near my house when he was very small. He is third cat i found and brought home. I am also feeding 5 stray cats (mum and 4 kittens) that i noticed near my garage, and they are all stripped ones @Heavenlee   :). Like most of us here, I am in constant search for new information that might be helpful in everyday life... Hope you are all well today!
hats of to you, need more people in the world like that.. far to many selfish 'humans'

@Marshmallowmayhem I don't have any likes left so I had to tell you he is a Casanova compared to my beast of a cat. Mine was feral and taken to the vet, he's 16 pounds I just don't know he got so fat being a feral cat! I have to admit your orange cat is better looking than my fat orange cat. But like you said the cheerio circle of trust, mine has let me in completely. I always wanted a lap cat because the other cats of mine will scratch you just when I pick them up! For a fat feral cat with half an ear missing he isn't much of looker like yours but he's the sweetest cat in the world! But honestly your cat is a beauty! Don't tell my cat though!
thers never enough likes for one day hahha not in opal land anyway lool ;)

You are correct :) I got this dog almost 11 years ago from a hysterical gentleman in my hometown. He was very upset that another neighbors dogs had gotten into his purebread Saint Bernards pen and this is what happened.( the litter was big-9 pups):) The other neighbor had 2 dogs, one being a Labrador Retriever and the other a Rhoesian Ridgeback. Either one could of been the puppies daddy. It caused quite a feud actually. The police were involved and  think the owner of the saint tried to sue the other guy lol.

Cant really tell in the pics but shes a pretty big dog, last month weighed 135#- almost 10 pounds more than me!  But, she is old, she likes to sleep in that spot in the front yard 12-13 hours a day. I dont imagine I will ever be able to replace her when shes gone.

my dogs are my life. there is a few pics on here but il try get a decent one of the hooligans together an post. ur a saint for taking her on. yeh to me i see a little ridgeback in her, im no professional though. pat urself on the back, u done a god thing. mistakes like that shouldnt happen, i no we cant fully stop them an it happens but both mine are not done an i refuse too. if known not done u need a million sets of eyes on them, it only takes one take.but they dont leave my side, if anything my older teaches an protects the pup even if she a grumpy sod lol

@girlgermsyou are quite right, there are never enough likes in the post your pet for animal lovers like us. You're dog weighs more than me, he sounds like a gentle giant. My neighbors dog slept in the the street he was old and tired and all the neighbors loved him, so we would all go out of our way for him. One day he disappeared and this was during the winter, the owner said he went somewhere to die. To this day we have never found him despite's groups of us looking for him to give him a proper burial. You seem like a kind soul to take the one in. The whole incident sucks, but like @dotcomkotrsaid you can't have eyes on them 24 hours. But maybe better pens that make it impossible for that to happen. You both mae me so jealous I want a dog so badly, but after we lost our 19 year dog Axel also, my husband said it was a shame hard as losing his parents. Honestly he still crys today at the mention of his name. I think a dog for me will Ben good, especially in Denver because of all the things to do here with a dog. I want to go hiking in the Rockies with a new dog. @KeyPill you are awesome for taking in those kittens and his their mommy. Wish there were more people like you. You sound just like my son. @dotcomkotryou sound like such a great pet owner. That's what I want is a dog that never leaves my side. A best friend! I don't care if he's a mutt, I always get animals from no kill shelters, but does anyone know what kind of dogs are good for mountains (no pigs, breathing problems)  and would be friendly yet protective? Thanks in advance! Oh and get along with cats!

It's a cat! I like those. :)

@ElectroNymph god I love your sense of humor! I can say that about my husbands, especially my first, argh, the fact that he was really hairy and was a total asshole, so maybe I shouldn't compare him to chewbacca that's to mean, since chewbacca may not be great looking he's nice and loyal, unlike my husbands! How's my favorite returnee doing?

He's only one but wise beyond his year. I just went through a bout of depression and slept for 3 days. I fed him and put water but I mostly remember sleeping and him being next to me. This is hyper poodle puppy who slept w/me for 3 days and didn't go bananas. I was crying and hugging him earlier and thanking him. He went back to being his demand barking puppy self and I found it adorable.

Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace.

There seems to be two threads for the same topic. This one and one in the Pet Health Section o.O

We have 5 other rescue house rabbits (they live with my brother and sister-in-law but I am their Auntie and I look after them a lot whilst my brother and sister-in-law are away which is often, basically I'm the bunny sitter) but Cracker who is in the picture died about a year ago. Although I love all the other rabbits so much, like family members, I will never love another rabbit like I did Cracker. She was our first rescue bunny and she thought she was a human, and so was super communicative. When I rabbit sat she would sit on my lap and watch judge Judy with me! And she liked to sit on my shoulder too. After I was stalked by a male neighbour who I didn't even know (and I'm a lesbian so it's not like I would've given any signals anyway) she would sit on my chest and lick my tears away, I have ptsd from being stalked and she really helped take care of me when I stayed with my brother for a few days whilst it was going on. She was amazing and I miss her so much.

Obviously I am having WAY too much fun!! It has taken me 2 plus years to figure out the pic thing !

thank you administration for making it easier too.

Hermit crab found in back years while mowing 6 months agp

yellow is named Tiny. We took him on the first winter we moved in . Someone left him behind. We found out thru neighbors he never had a true home . Just backyards . Well must of ate his fair share of rats. He was always that big! The rest ours from an unplanned litter .  It would apppeAr unsanitary but I put Katie in the pan as a joke for a pic and the rest followed. Shows their sizes well,

  1. rasetreydir @ rasetreydir: Stole 'Apocalypse Now' as Capt Kilgore in a 10 minute role. "Ya know, one day this war will be over.😪"
  2. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: Fkin legend
  3. Thoth @ Thoth: @Layne_Cobain Crunk Juice!!!
  4. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢
  5. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Sorry for comment below, but I couldn’t delete. Know I see the
  6. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: Yeah Robert Duvall passing is a hard one. RIP
  7. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Damn. Just heard Robert Duvall passed away Sunday. That’s a tough one. He’s one of my favorite actors. From Lonesome Dove to the Godfather and many others. We will miss you Mr Duvall. You entertained us for 7 decades. RIP
  8. L @ Layne_Cobain: @ClintEastwood make a post about it homie they’re gonna take down your message here cuz shout box isn’t really for talking shop just random shooting the shit exc but yeh just put your message in a post on the forum in the appropriate place and ppl will get at you! 👊 ✌️
  9. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Just wondering if anyone well trusted has a supply of research thienos or benz in powders for good average prices? Or could give a shout out from me to him? Or the best lowest per each? I’ve seen some cool and some i just know are worth it. Good price rv presses too but it is much more bang for your buck. I have one good vendor. But am looking for variety’s well. Send me a message or reply if you think any. Thanks - CLINT E. Any Heavy stuff too which all seem about the ssmmmmmm
  10. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I always thought I should’ve been born in a much earlier time but I will say, i do enjoy my Xbox and occasional TV series tho 😂
  11. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I just wish the opioid epidemic never happened. Fk the turn of the century (which would be cool no doubt)! Many of my friends and family would’ve ended up in asylums like so many others. I just wish I could get back all those I’ve lost since the start
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: 1914 I meant
  13. L @ Layne_Cobain: I often wish I lived during the turn of the century or at least before the Harrison narcotics act or whatever I think it was 1924 the fun ended but anyway yeh being able to get laudanum, ❄️ and amphetamine at the local friendly pharmacy
  14. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Chew on the leaves with a bit of slaked lime and enjoy the mild boost you get from the raw base.
  15. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I’m sure you know the folks in the mountainous regions along South Americas pacific side buy cócà leaves at the local farmers market just to help acclimate to the higher elevation when they have to head up into the hills.
  16. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I would certainly have bought it, swilled it, enjoyed it…. Why not? A little boost in your juice isn’t going to hurt anyone.
  17. R @ Royboy99: Exports were reported to have around 7.2mg per FL OZ, it’s success is what actually led to Coca Cola
  18. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Having cramps and husband thinks you’re acting hysterical (ie. PMS) the doc would either perform a certain massage to relieve the strains of motherhood and family life of that time or send you down to the local apothecary for a bottle of laudanum… A tincture of alcohol and 10% òpìųm. Fun days huh?
  19. R @ Royboy99: @malestrom: yeah thats it, my bad Mariani, yeah i considered that and also its ROA, which was oral so the bioavailability was lower than insufflation, higher degree of purity tho and longer duration … there was a significant marked increase of patents filed by Edison during the time it was released in the US. Presidents were known to use it as well, and the Queen. The pope awarded the wine the Vatican gold medal award
  20. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I think it was called vin Mariani. But yeah, it was all the rave back in the turn to the 20th century. Original formula Coca Cola did it for a while too. I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
