The money for tv matches isn't really distributed fairly. More so for the PL and Championship. League 1 and 2 teams don't have a chance if they go up za few divisions. Even though an average skysports or BT sports match will pay about 100k to show a lower teir match. It goes up to about 250k if you get a good cup run and draw a PL team. Otherwise they have to rely on season tickets and gate money. Its creating a massive difference in income. It does make for an entertaining season for the lower Leagues.
The national League is competitive with little money and part time players. Normally the 2 who get promotion are fighting for promotion to League 1. Theres been a few back to back promotion in the last decade. Money does ruin the game.
