Premier League - UK

The money for tv matches isn't really distributed fairly. More so for the PL and Championship. League 1 and 2 teams don't have a chance if they go up za few divisions. Even though an average skysports or BT sports match will pay about 100k to show a lower teir match. It goes up to about 250k if you get a good cup run and draw a PL team. Otherwise they have to rely on season tickets and gate money. Its creating a massive difference in income.  It does make for an entertaining season for the lower Leagues.

The national League is competitive with little money and part time players. Normally the 2 who get promotion are fighting for promotion to League 1. Theres been a few back to back promotion in the last decade. Money does ruin the game.  

 
It's got boring now. Chelsea will win the league (again). My team in the Championship seems more interesting with a fight with Brighton for the title. I hope I don't live to regret that! My ex (who I live with) supports Sheffield Utd, who are top of League One, so it could be a good season for both of us. ?

 
Millwall eat Premiership teams for Sunday lunch in the cup, changes or not. Got Derby or Leicester next round at home, I'd rather get Leicester...

 
The crazy transfer season is back. The amount spent is ridiculous now though with increased TV income, sponsors its is kind of understood. Man City will go all out with their spending and try to get Pep the players to mount a challenge for some trophies. Chelsea, Spurs might just make a couple of signings. Liverpool and Arsenal never seem to buy good. Man Utd maybe 4/5 signing. No Griezmann coming though. Should be an interesting transfer season.
