Been talking with J all week and went to MG this morning and it was a pain. They got it all wrong, had to cancel and redo and ID required, etc, etc but FINALLY got it done.

Talked to J after and he asked me to post this. He apologized and he's sending me a special prize and told me I could post that. He's sorry for the inconvenience, etc. I didn't ask for anything and wasn't trying to get anything special. I had told him I'd have him the money earlier that 6:45 PST and I was 10-15 minutes late and apologized.

J IS THE BEST, not for free stuff it's because he answers emails and always is ON!!! He TCB!!!

I've got to say, for ME personally, with everyone I've dealt with, J is the best. Not to say others there aren't I'm just saying for ME personally.

 
I had situation and outcome similar to BTOH and Tyler D above.  J. went above and beyond.  He answered my emails, and remained both positive and helpful during what I imagine was a frustrating week (to say the least).  Even though all-the-while knowing that things like this happen, and living by the "don't spend more than you can afford to lose" credo written so often in this forum, I was still really frustrated last week.  Bottom line though, J has my trust and respect. 

 
I think J and R are the best...I 've gotten to know J a bit personally and he is Awesome! I think R has the best command of the English language for all the Mex vendors!

Reading through the last couple of pages of well respected member's posts plus having a few of my own difficulties last week in the SY world has really given me a new appreciation for the whole damn thing.

It really is a fragile system that can go completely sideways if you're not paying close attention and sometimes even then it can go into "train wreck" mode seemingly because the wind changed direction.

Couple lessons I apparently had to re-learn this last week: *(and fundamentals no less) 

1.) This isn't Costco, Walmart or ___________ <- *(Insert your favorite store). Remember what and who you're dealing with. Enough said. If I have to explain this part to you any further you really don't have any business being in here to begin with.

2.) Type slowly and double check your work. I get overly confident and think I'm Mr. Smarty Pants and then go make stupid mistakes like typing a receiver's name wrong by one letter and BOOM!!! 1 day delay thank you very much over inflated ego.

So that's it. Any further typing results in me rambling incoherently.  /default_tongue.png

Back on point...J is 5-Stars!

What I wrote earlier, I stand behind and J is a 5 star guy. Placed an order Thirsday morning and paid for Next Day by 10:30. MG was a pain but hey, part of it sometimes and it did get done and J got it and without asking threw in something "special" like I said earlier. Got my TN a few hours ago about 9:45 CST and something got messed up with FedEx where it's just regular NextDay by 3pm. So, I'll be suffering and anxiously awaiting and like 99 said salivating when I hear any large sized truck.

I Informed J, not to complain, but to let him know that FedEx messed up and might owe him a few dollars. But I still stand behind J and what I wrote earlier about him. Great guy and buy the time we found out nothing can be done so I have to wait a few extra hours, I get a surprise. Things like this happen and it's not like he did anything wrong or purposefully. I stand behind J 110% and he apologized but it wasn't necessary IMO. It will arrive, it will all be there PLUS some and it's all good.

Every time Ive used J he has come through.

Like Damien said, it's not Wal-Mart, remember what's happening and what you're getting delivered to your front door!!! Just be like Fonzie!!! And what's Fonzie like?? COOL!!!

Bottom line, and order with J is going to come!!! With MG, just remember to spell it out and check then recheck.

I'll stop rambling on now.

And the thing about him answering emails promptly and thoroughly isnt just when there is a mixup, its all the time. Great guy, top notch, 5*, however you want to say or rate him.

I will check with Jewey and see how he would like me to disclose some of them.

ANYWAYS, glad to see everyone is doing well. I am happy to be back. It is good to take break from time to time and use some other forums. You will gain an appreciation for this site. OP is the only other one worth a flip IMO.

I can't tell you how glad I am to see you back my friend, as I feel partly to blame for your departure in the first place. I just wanted to publicly state that, and to also welcome you home! As far as any new SY vendors (or otherwise) go, feel free to post them by creating a thread. You're a VIP here my friend, and have more than earned that right!

Ordered yesterday morning 8/1

Delivered 8/2 @ 1:10pm

There was a mixup I believe with either FedEx or a shipper because mine was sent just regular Next Day ( I ALWAYS go Next Day BY 10:30). Its not a big deal and nothing that J did at all. A few hours extra wait time and a few calls to FedEx to ask them to deliver it ASAP and they told me after the 1st call to call them back if it wasn't here by 12:30, so I called back and they called the driver again and told me he would be here within 30 minutes and there he was.

Happy Friday everyone!!!! Heres to a good weekend and hoping everyone gets a visit today if they're expecting one. 

 
I forgot, J added a "surprise" in there as well AND the packing on this one was the best ive ever seen, SO the usual 5* for J and a BONUS * for the packing job!!!

I know. After the two of us had a discussion last week you made me realize how many pieces must align for this SY thing to work. And even when it doesn't we can still get our money back! Since these vendors are obviously business people I hope that they continue to evolve in conjunction with all the roadblocks, roadblocks trying to eff things up for them, so they may face the future profitably.
