Today I went to a couple of fun places and picked up several new things. I enjoy shopping, even though I don't do it very often anymore

Sephora

I picked up Make Up For Ever's Mist & Fix - it's a great finishing spray to keep your makeup set all day, ladies. (And guys, if you wear makeup...)

Some Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu Sleeping Mask samples. I'm excited to try this out.

Bath & Body Works

Boathouse Row plug-in fragrance. It's a bit masculine, but fresh. Like a man just hopped out of the shower. I like it so far.

Do y'all have any recent items that you've picked up? Let us know!

All kidding aside, my after Christmas shopping this far consisted of 1K rounds of AE .223 / 250 .45 ACP HP Winchester LE grade / 500 rounds of AE 9MM, and from my friends at GCI down south 100 rounds of .50 ACP.  Oh and another Lulu for the AR mags.  Bout time to go to the "range".

See, shopping is fun for everyone! Your range better be far from here. /default_wink.png

Dog food, cat litter, eggs and ooohh, yeah...white out.

Oh MSD, I so wanted to report more exciting purchases, but alas, a girls gotta feed the live stock, make scrambled eggs and hide my mistakes from the world.

I'm so gal you had some good clean fun, you more than deserve a little retail therapy!

Hey, I bought some of that stuff, too. But it doesn't make me happy like a trip to Sephora /default_smile.png

I also paid to have my car's O ring replaced today. No more scary sounding starts in the cold winters night. Or day. It also had a recall on it, but that was freeeeeee. I love free.

I love free too.

By the way, where IS the "FREE stuff" thread?

Ooh, I want to shop with you MSD! I am going to try that Ever's Mist and Fix, I need that!

I bought some new perfume I really love- Estée Lauder Modern Muse. Fell in love with it after I smelled a sample

in a magazine.

It's seriously amazing. I love it. But I love most everything from MUFE.

Best mascara - LORAC PRO. So great for length and volume. But safe for sensitive peepers.

Scent-wise I'm stuck on Lush's Rose Jam shower gel. So nice and lingers on skin. No perfume needed.

I havn't bought makeup for years but I need under eye concealer bad.  My sis who's much richer than me says "cle de peau" is the best but it's $70!!!!  Cant do that.  Anyone know of any good ones cheaper?

Yesterday I bought vanilla chex and smart food popcorn.

Yes Ma'am, I need to pay the mortgage, but Cle De Peau indeed makes some very nice smelling, overpriced Japanese products.

I suppose if the animals are all fed, shots up to date, kids' college paid for, retirement bursting at the seams, extended family all set in their own homes, braces on everyone under 18,

And credit cards burned...

yeah, I'd still wouldn't plop down my own $ for this stuff.

But if you can squirrel away some free samples, do so. Otherwise, take that 70 clams and find a great place to enjoy a cat nap. Under eye circles or not, every girl needs her beauty sleep.

And anyway, think of hoe many boxes of Chex you could splurge on with $70...

Take Care HolyM.

Beranda

Thanks for the tip Maybe, do you know what brand it is?
It's by Maybelline. I got the neutralizer color and have been enjoying it. Just don't rub your eyes after you put it on. Feels bad in your eyeballs.

I also tried a new Clarisonic type facial cleansing system by Revlon. Much less expensive. Good, but not as good as the Clarisonic. Pretty much what I expected.

I used it with my Dior face cleanser and then used the Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu Sleeping Mask as my night moisturizer. Hope this isn't too rich for my skin. I really prefer anti-aging AND anti-acne combo products. One of my favorite lines is by Revive. It's expensive, but has great products in the line.

I could go on and on...

Thank you very much Maybe.  I hope it's ok to call you that instead of typing your whole name.

You can call me "ho" if you want.

  20. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: Policies have changed and i would behoove everyone to due their due diligence and go have a look. The guidelines from 5-10 years ago dont apply. And rules, regulations and laws may not either, i mean do you see anyone giving 2 sh1tz about the C0n$tituti@n recently?
